Chapter 4 Kane's pov

Chapter four

I barely had any work done because I couldn't stop thinking about her. Her beautiful blue eyes, her plump lips, and that little body. I felt my pants go tighter with need.

This was exactly the reason I didn't want a mate, they made one weak just like my father. He ended his life after my mother died because he couldn't bear to live without her.

I don't want any weaknesses in my life and as such I have to stay away from her. I let out a heavy sigh, touching my forehead as I leaned back against my chair at my office desk.

"Mr. Salvatore?" Bella my assistant knocks on the door, carrying a pile of documents.

"I'm here to bring the contracts you asked for."

I nod to let her come in and a big smile creeps on her lips as she makes her way toward me.

Her hips sway sensually as she walks closer, and I can't help but notice how short and exposed her dress is. It does a terrible job in covering her upper thighs, and I don't understand how she feels comfortable wearing that in the office.

The sound of her heels made an annoying clicking sound on the marble floors, and I had to breathe in and out a couple of times to control my anger.

Bella arrives at my side and puts the papers on my desk. " Here are the agreements you have to sign today sir ." she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and gazes at me dreamily biting her lips.

"Do you want to get fired, Miss Williams"? I asked in anger.

" This is the last time you will wear such a revealing outfit to my company or I will have you kicked out, am I clear"?

"Ye-ss- ss-sir," she says while stuttering.

"Now get out of my sight"

She runs out hurriedly in fright and embarrassment. I never mix business with pleasure, getting involved with my employees is against my rules.

My phone buzzes, I pick it up to check the caller which turns out to be Colin.

"hello," I say agitatedly.

" what ran up your ass and died"? but whatever, I found out something interesting.

" Our dear old Nicholas Oberoi (the vice chancellor in case you forgot) is so sketchy. I followed him and we ended up in the woods, he has a whole cabin hidden in the middle of nowhere.

'So did you find out anything that can help our quest"?

" Not really, but he is hiding something, I wi...

I ended the call before he could continue spouting nonsense. As you have gathered, Colin is extremely playful and never serious about anything, he behaves like a teenager in a grown man's body.

After working for a few hours, my wolf was restless which caused a splitting headache, I stood up stretching my aching muscles, and left the office for a well-needed run.

I ran for a while in the woods away from civilization and the sudden need to see her was so strong.

I ran close to her home and hid in the bushes. The window was opened and I watched her. Suddenly, she turned toward the window, and in shock she dropped the glass she was holding. I ran off hastily in fear of being seen. I changed back into my human form.

I saw her and her friend leave in a car and followed them.

They drove towards the creek close to my home. Loud noises and laughter could be heard and I realised it was a bloody party.

Her friends left her and she looked so nervous, I guess this is not her scene. A drunk kid approached her and I seethed in anger and jealousy. My wolf was antsy and restless seeing another man close to our mate. After some time, he finally left and my wolf was finally calm. I continued watching her like a creep and saw her head towards the woods.

I followed quietly and saw her pull down her jeans, I looked elsewhere to avoid invading her privacy, my anger spiked up when I saw that same drunk creepy kid watching her.

He approached her and she screamed. All hell broke loose when he hit her and tried to take advantage of her.

I changed into my wolf and attacked him. She screamed bloody murder and I ran off when people started pouring in.

When I finally got home, It was quiet and no one was around. I walked across the silent kitchen calmly and opened the refrigerator to get a bottle of water. I saw a note on the microwave from Edna, our Pack's cook.

"My boy, I placed your dinner in the microwave, just heat it."

I smiled, Edna raised me and my sister after my parents' demise. She's basically my mother and I love her so much.

After heating, I dug into my meal and grunted at the explosion of flavour. She's also an amazing cook.

'Kane!"

Unfortunately for me, my meal was about to be interrupted by Anna my baby sister. She marched into the kitchen and took a seat beside me.

"Good morning bro".

I grunted again.

She rolled her eyes taking a bite from my meal, "Charming as ever, I see "

" What is it, Anna"? , I'm extremely tired and do not have the time for your childish antics.

" Well,I'm going on a trip with Stacy to Bali for a week ".

'No!, this is not the time for any trips, you know it's not safe right now for werewolves, I can only protect you here.

'But! She whined.

"No buts ", and goodnight. I placed the empty plate in the sink heading to my room for a well-needed nap.

" In my office, seated at my desk with my laptop open and running. A knock is heard.

"Come in Miss Keeler"

She walked sultrily towards me batting her lashes.

"you asked for me, sir".

"yes, come to daddy"

She sat on my lap and placed her lips on mine. We kissed fervently with passion and I fondled her breast.

She moaned loudly in the throes of passion and went on her knees looking up at me with her seductively.

She unbuckled my belt and pulled down the zipper of my slacks.

"Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr" my alarm blared jolting me awake. I looked down and saw my member straining painfully against my pajama bottoms.

" I can't believe I just had a wet dream like a horny teenager. She looked so sexy and beautiful.
