Chapter 4 The torture...

Scarface crossed his arms and tried a side grin that only stretched his scar in an uncomfortable way.His hair was cut short military style.

"Interesting.You know when I first heard Lion has a woman softening him up,I didn't believe it with his bad boy reputation and all that playboy nonsense.Not until my men dragged you out of that hole.And I must say, he's a sharpshooter."His eyes dropped to her baby bump.His eyes spoke of how uninterested he was with Lion's reputation which Sunny had no idea about nor her relation with him.

"So he's planning to make you the first lady after he takes over the south?"

Sunny shook her head.She didn't know or care about Lion's reputation or whatever he was planning on 'taking over'.She wanted to be home.

"Whoever you are,I don't know what you're talking about.I just want to go home."Sunny said as much.

Scarface stood up straight clearly impatient with her.He took the tin of water on the table and dumped it all on her.He then made short strides toward her and hooked his big calloused fingers around her neck and squeezed successfully cutting off Sunny's air supply.

"You're hurting me."Sunny choked.

"I just want to know what they're planning.And we can do this the hard way or the easy way."

Before he completely closed her air hole, another guy marched in and did a brief salute.He was in full military gear but with no flag indication or name.Sunny's heart did a flip at the thought that if they were military,she could get help.

"Captain,her bodyguard is ready to speak.He has a location on Lion's whereabouts."The new guy's reference to Scarface made Sunny certain they were the army or with the army.And since they stood right in front of her,why not ask?This could be her lucky day.

"Are you with the army?You have to help me back home.I was kidnapped by Lion! Am not a bad person."She said breathless when the captain finally let go of her neck and started for the exit."I'm telling you the truth!You have to help me please..."Her outburst only made the guys slam the door shut to her face.

And that's not how she had expected her rescue by the army to go.Her wet dress clung to her body like a second skin.She went from hostage to an accomplice of a criminal activity in record time.

"Josef, don't leave me.I love you..."Sunny had been falling in and out of consciousness for the last twenty four hours.That would be four days since she last ate or drank something.Her head was still hurt and she wondered if she had sustained some major injuries during the raid at the basement.And she must have hurt her head really bad because she was hallucinating and thinking her new captors were the army.

No military men in the world would tie up a pregnant woman with chains and then try to choke life out of her.But it was confusing to know who they were for sure because everything they had screamed the army.

"Wake up!"A woman's voice shouted and ice cold water was poured on her again making her shiver.Sunny opened her eyes fully .

"Four days are long enough to have recollected your thoughts!"Sunny was tired of looking at the military uniform whose owners treated her like an animal.After her last session with captain,she dreaded the army and liked Lion's gang group better,atleast they hadn't tried to starve her to death.

"Your bodyguard led us on a wild goose chase and Lion Ambushed us injuring several of our men."The woman talking was fuller than Sunny in all the right places.But she looked mean and had a menacing look on that had her brows always furrowed.

She uncuffed Sunny making her fall to her knees ,before she not so carefully pulled her up by her hair roots, then crouched in front of her.

"Now I want you to tell me where Lion is or I'll mess your pretty face so bad until Lion won't be able to recognize you anymore."Her threat was dreary but why did everyone keep thinking that she and Lion were an item.The guy was a terrorist for Christ's sake.

"I already told your captain,I don't know anything.And if you kill me to get to Lion,you are wasting your time.Am just collateral damage."

Sunny spoke as calmly as she could.It hurt her when the captain judged her and almost drowned her but the same treatment from a fellow woman sucked.Plus,she was tired of everyone treating her like a nobody.Can't a woman walk free on the face of the earth?

The woman held Sunny's head up by her tresses which she had wanted to pull out on several occasions while at the basement.Now she wished she had because they hurt.

"Where is Lion?"The woman asked again her palm connecting with Sunny's cheek.Sunny reacted by landing her own slap on the woman.The woman's eyes widened before she rewarded her with another solid blow on Sunny's same assaulted cheek.
