Chapter 5 Five

"You just eat first, ma'am! So that when it's finished Katy can be with you again," said the nurse. Very kind-hearted. Of course, there is help even though Doni is not there beside him. She also feels she doesn't need Doni anymore, who doesn't think about Malisa or Katy anymore.

When Malisa had just finished eating, she heard her cell phone ring. She saw that Doni was the one calling her. Malisa is unsure whether to accept the call. She finally chose to just accept Doni's call. It may bring something pleasant.

"Hello?" say hi Malisa.

"Where are you? Didn't you come home to make me and Mona eat?" asked Doni in a high tone.

"Hey, you're still thinking about your stomach. Don't you ask how Katy is? I haven't been home since this morning because Katy has a dengue fever and has to be hospitalized. You are outrageous," Malisa snorted.

The phone is disconnected. Malisa was very powerless to continue her conversation with Doni who asked for food. Doni didn't even care about Katy and Malisa, who had not come home since this morning.

The nurse had left Katy's ward. Katy was still fast asleep. Malisa went to sleep near Katy. She was also very tired and had no time to rest.

The next day, Malisa saw that Katy's condition had improved. Malisa can sleep pretty well tonight because Katy doesn't cry much anymore. Only when asking to breastfeed.

According to the doctor, Katy's condition is improving. Katy's hemoglobin has also started to normal, it's just that it's still not completely normal. She still needs treatment. Maybe tomorrow Katy will be able to go home.

The doctor who handled Katy was indeed quite good. The male doctor who has a name tag is Dimas. His face looks so handsome and also charismatic. But Malisa is also ordinary. She can't even see a handsome man other than Doni. But Doni had hurt her and made Malisa blind to any man.

"Mom, isn't there a husband or brother who can take your place here looking after Katy?" asked Dimas.

"Nothing, Doc. My husband is busy at work and doesn't even care that his child is being treated at the hospital. And I am far from my family and no one can accompany or replace me here," said Malisa. She looked at Katy who was sleeping.

Dimas feels sorry for Malisa. He understands that Malisa's life is quite hard. "May your life be given happiness by god."

Malisa glanced at Dimas. She smiled at Dimas. "Amen."

After checking Katy's condition, doctor Dimas left the ward. Not long after the nurse came to Katy's room. "Mom here is breakfast for you," she said.

"Why are you so bothered?" asked Malisa, who felt that the nurse cared so much about her.

"Not from me. But from Doctor Dimas, ma'am. He left this for me," answered the nurse.

Malisa was stunned. It turned out that Doctor Dimas gave Malisa breakfast. "Oh, thank you. Please thank Doctor Dimas!"

As usual, when the nurse came, Malisa could take a shower and just go to the bathroom. She can eat in peace too and the food that Doctor Dimas gave her was also delicious. She is so grateful to be given kindness by people she does not know. Of course, this is all also because of God's intervention.

Three days passed, and Malisa and Katy were in the hospital. Today Katy was allowed to go home.

"Thank you, Doc, for taking care of Katy. Now I want to say goodbye to go home," said Malisa.

Dimash nodded. "You're welcome, ma'am. I hope Katy is healthy, okay?"

Malisa replied with a small smile. Because the purpose of her return home is very unpleasant. She will return to Doni and Mona's house. It's no longer his home.

Malisa stepped into the lobby. Thinking long to go home because she also did not know what would happen to her and Katy. Arriving at the front of the lobby she was about to look for a taxi but had not come. So far there hasn't been any. Malisa sat on the front steps of the hospital because she was tired of waiting. Moreover, Katy was also sleeping.

Malisa sighed. "Why aren't there any taxis?" she complained.

Suddenly a black car stopped right in front of Malisa. Malisa also didn't look at her because she realized that there was no way the owner of the car would pick her up.

"Mrs. Malisa," a man called out of the black car.

Malisa looked up. "Doctor Dimas?"

"Are you going home? I happen to be coming home. Do you want to go home together?" asked Doctor Dimas.

"Oh, don't worry, Doc. I'm waiting for a taxi. For some reason no taxi has come," Malisa refused softly. It's not easy for her to meet men, let alone hang out with a man she just met. She maintains loyalty to Doni, even though Doni has had her ambivalence.

"It's okay, ma'am. It's a pity if Katy is exposed to the smoke outside for too long. She just got home from the hospital," said Dimas.

"No, Doc. Now there is a taxi. Thank you for your kindness," replied Malisa. Indeed, there was a taxi passing beside Dimas' car and Malisa also stopped the taxi.

Doctor Dimas smiled faintly. Without thinking twice, he followed Malisa behind the taxi that Malisa was riding in. After walking for a long time, Malisa finally arrived at her house. It seemed that Doni's car was about to leave the yard.

Dimas only watched from a distance. He just wanted to know what happened in the Malisa household, and why her husband was so indifferent when Katy was hospitalized for three days.

Dimas saw that Malisa seemed to be talking to a man who he could confirm was her husband. Dimas saw her husband Malisa get into the car without talking much to Malisa or seeing Katy's condition.
