Chapter 4 The Odyssey part 3.

Zara tried to calm down, and think. She tried to find a logical explanation for the device, and the signal. She tried to find a way out of the situation, and the planet.

She failed.

She could not make sense of anything. She could not see any hope.

She was stuck in a paradox, and a nightmare.

She wondered if she was dreaming, or hallucinating. She wondered if she was dead, or alive. She wondered if she was herself, or someone else.

She decided to call her ship, and ask for help. She hoped that they would have some answers, or some ideas. She hoped that they would still be there.

She was wrong yet again.

As she contacted her ship, she heard a voice. It was not one of her crew members. It was not one of her friends. It was not one of her allies.

It was the voice of the alien ship.

It said:

"Hello, Commander Vega. We meet again."

She recognized the voice. It was the same voice that had taunted her, and attacked her. It was the same voice that had chased her, and followed her. It was the same voice that had haunted her, and tormented her.

It was the voice of her enemy.

She asked:

"Who are you? What do you want? How did you find me?"

The voice said:

"We are the Seekers. We want the wormhole. We found you by tracking your signal."

She said:

"What signal? What wormhole? What are you talking about?"

The voice said:

"The signal that you sent from the device. The wormhole that you entered from the anomaly. The device and the wormhole that belong to us."

She said:

"What device? What anomaly? What do you mean?"

The voice said:

"The device that you found on the planet. The anomaly that you encountered in space. The device and the anomaly that are part of our project."

She said:

"What project? What planet? What are you saying?"

The voice said:

"The project that we have been working on for centuries. The planet that we have been using as a base. The project and the planet that are part of our plan."

She said:

"What plan? What base? What are you planning?"

The voice said:

"The plan that we have been executing for millennia. The base that we have been hiding from the galaxy. The plan and the base that are part of our destiny."

She said:

"What destiny? What galaxy? What are you destined for?"

The voice said:

"The destiny that we have been pursuing for eons. The galaxy that we have been exploring for ages. The destiny and the galaxy that are part of our purpose."

She said:

"What purpose? What exploration? What are you purposing for?"

The voice said:

"The purpose that we have been fulfilling for infinity. The exploration that we have been conducting for eternity. The purpose and the exploration that are part of our mission."

She said:

"What mission? What infinity? What are you missioning for?"

The voice said:

"The mission that we have been assigned by the Creator. The infinity that we have been transcending by the wormhole. The mission and the infinity that are part of our role."

She said:

"What role? What Creator? What are you roleing for?"

The voice said:

"The role that we have been playing as the Seekers. The Creator that we have been serving as the Chosen. The role and the Creator that are part of our identity."

She said:

"What identity? What Chosen? What are you identifying as?"

The voice said:

"The identity that we have been revealing as the Seekers. The Chosen that we have been becoming as the Seekers. The identity and the Chosen that are part of our secret."

She said:

"What secret? What Seekers? What are you secreting as?"

The voice said:

"The secret that we have been keeping as the Seekers. The Seekers that we have been evolving as the Seekers. The secret and the Seekers that are part of our truth."

She said:

"What truth? What evolving? What are you truthing as?"

The voice said:

"The truth that we have been discovering as the Seekers. The evolving that we have been achieving as the Seekers. The truth and the evolving that are part of our goal."

She said:

"What goal? What achieving? What are you goaling as?"

The voice said:

"The goal that we have been reaching as the Seekers. The achieving that we have been completing as the Seekers. The goal and the achieving that are part of our end."

She said:

"What end? What completing? What are you ending as?"

The voice said:

"The end that we have been awaiting as the Seekers. The completing that we have been finalizing as the Seekers. The end and the completing that are part of our beginning."

She said:

"What beginning? What finalizing? What are you beginning as?"

The voice said:

"The beginning that we have been starting as the Seekers. The finalizing that we have been initiating as the Seekers. The beginning and the finalizing that are part of our origin."

She said:

"What origin? What initiating? What are you originating as?"

The voice said:

"The origin that we have been returning as the Seekers. The initiating that we have been triggering as the Seekers. The origin and the initiating that are part of our cycle."

She said:

"What cycle? What triggering? What are you cycling as?"

The voice said:

"The cycle that we have been repeating as the Seekers. The triggering that we have been causing as the Seekers. The cycle and the triggering that are part of our paradox."

She said:

"What paradox? What causing? What are you paradoxing as?"

The voice said:

"The paradox that we have been creating as the Seekers. The causing that we have been doing as the Seekers. The paradox and the causing that are part of our story."

She said:

"What story? What doing? What are you storying as?"

The voice said:

"The story that we have been telling as the Seekers. The doing that we have been being as the Seekers. The story and the doing that are part of our reality."

She said:

"What reality? What being? What are you realing as?"

The voice said:

"The reality that we have been living as the Seekers. The being that we have been existing as the Seekers. The reality and the being that are part of our existence."

She said:

"What existence? What existing? What are you existing as?"

The voice said:

"The existence that we have been sharing as the Seekers. The existing that we have been continuing as the Seekers. The existence and the existing that are part of our essence."

She said:

"What essence? What continuing? What are you essencing as?"

The voice said:

"The essence that we have been expressing as the Seekers. The continuing that we have been enduring as the Seekers. The essence and the continuing that are part of our nature."

She said:

"What nature? What enduring? What are you naturing as?"

The voice said:

"The nature that we have been revealing as the Seekers. The enduring that we have been surviving as the Seekers. The nature and the enduring that are part of our being."

She said:

"What being? What surviving? What are you being as?"

The voice said:

"The being that we have been becoming as the Seekers. The surviving that we have been thriving as the Seekers. The being and the surviving that are part of our becoming."

She said:

"What becoming? What thriving? What are you becoming as?"

The voice said:

"The becoming that we have been seeking as the Seekers. The thriving that we have been living as the Seekers. The becoming and the thriving that are part of our seeking."

She said:

"What seeking? What living? What are you seeking as?"

The voice said:

"The seeking that we have been finding as the Seekers. The living that we have been dying as the Seekers. The seeking and the living that are part of our finding."

She said:

"What finding? What dying? What are you finding as?"

The voice said:

"The finding that we have been losing as the Seekers. The dying that we have been reborn as the Seekers. The finding and the dying that are part of our losing."

She said:

"What losing? What reborn? What are you losing as?"

The voice said:

"The losing that we have been winning as the Seekers. The reborn that we have been born as the Seekers. The losing and the reborn that are part of our winning."

She said:

"What winning? What born? What are you winning as?"

The voice said:

"The winning that we have been losing as the Seekers. The born that we have been reborn as the Seekers. The winning and the born that are part of our losing."

She said:

"What losing? What reborn? What are you losing as?"

The voice said:

"The losing that we have been finding as the Seekers. The reborn that we have been dying as the Seekers. The losing and the reborn that are part of our finding."

She said:

"What finding? What dying? What are you finding as?"

The voice said:

"The finding that we have been seeking as the Seekers. The dying that we have been living as the Seekers. The finding and the dying that are part of our seeking."

She said:

"What seeking? What living? What are you seeking as?"

The voice said:

"The seeking that we have been becoming as the Seekers. The living that we have been being as the Seekers. The seeking and the living that are part of our becoming."

She said:

"What becoming? What being? What are you becoming as?"
