Chapter 3 The Odyssey part 2.

Zara had to make a quick decision. She had to find a way to evade the alien ships, and look for a safe place to land. She had to repair her ship, and heal her crew. She had to contact the Starfleet, and request for help. She had to do all of this, while facing the unknown dangers of a new galaxy.

She scanned the nearest planet, and found that it was habitable. It had a breathable atmosphere, a moderate climate, and a rich biosphere. It also had a low level of technology, and no signs of intelligent life. It seemed like a perfect place to hide and recover.

She decided to take a chance, and headed towards it. She hoped that it would not be a trap. She was wrong yet again.

As she entered the planet's orbit, she detected a signal. It was weak, but unmistakable. It was a distress call, and it was coming from the surface. It was in a language that she recognized. It was in English.

She was shocked, and curious. She wondered who was sending the signal, and why. She wondered how they got there, and what they were doing there. She wondered if they were friend or foe.

She decided to investigate, and landed near the source of the signal. She took a small team of armed officers, and left the ship. She told the rest of the crew to stay on board, and guard the ship. She told them to be ready for anything.

She followed the signal, and found a small device. It was a transmitter, and it was attached to a metal pole. It was old, and rusty. It looked like it had been there for a long time.

She picked up the device, and examined it. She saw a label, and read it. It said:

**Project Orion**

**Starship Orion**

**Commander Zara Vega**

She dropped the device, and gasped. She felt a chill, and a shock. She felt a confusion, and a fear.

She had no idea what it meant.

She had no idea what was going on.

She had no idea what would happen next.

She only knew one thing.

She was in trouble.

To be continued.
