Chapter 4 Arrival of Moon Goddess

A few minutes later, Brandon didn't see Rachel anywhere. He had even asked the guards but no one knew, and now he had to search for Rachel with Victor.

"Did you realize something was wrong, Victor? Is it possible that Rachel heard our conversation?"

Victor turned to his Alpha. "Is it possible that Rachel is running away now? Because she heard what you said earlier."

Realizing that Rachel had indeed run away, Brandon immediately ordered all of his bodyguards to look for her wherever and however far they had to go.

As Brandon's emotions were again unstable, Victor decided to step away from his Alpha nature and focus on finding Rachel's whereabouts so that Brandon's emotions would soon be resolved.

"Everyone, please find Rachel wherever you are, if you come back empty-handed then I will kill you!" Brandon's shout echoed throughout the room, no one dared to argue, and they preferred to work on the tasks given by their Alpha.

However, there was one guard who asked Brandon a very bold question, instead of getting an answer, the guard lay lifeless as Brandon killed him instantly and mercilessly.

"Calm yourself, Alpha! If your emotions get the best of you then finding Rachel will be even harder for us to do. We need your guidance too." Victor said trying to advise his Alpha. But Brandon still could not be controlled by anyone including his own beta.

Days and months had passed and Rachel was still nowhere to be found, frustrating everyone in the pack. Because every day they get tantrums from Brandon.

Of course, it was because of Brandon's out-of-bounds behavior, killing innocent people and his appearance that was increasingly turning into a man who seemed unable to take care of himself. Yes, Brandon was busy looking for Rachel's whereabouts and paid no attention to his appearance.

"Alpha, shouldn't you be hunting tonight? But since you're not feeling well, I suggest moving the hunting schedule to another day," said Victor who had just walked into Brandon's room. It had been almost nine months since they lost Rachel, seeing the changes in his Alpha made Victor naturally worried.

"I want to meet Selena." Brandon then said.

"Are you sure about this, Alpha? I'll arrange it if you let me." Victor said.

Brandon shook his head. "Leave me alone, Beta. I started all this, let me be in charge."

Victor nodded his head as he obeyed everything his Alpha said. Although he was worried, he still had to carry out Brandon's orders no matter what.

Brandon walked with slow steps, he went to the Moon Goddess and asked for help to be reunited with Rachel.

"That's what I'm worried about, you're too evil for a pure omega like Rachel. You don't deserve to be with her, Brandon." Selena said with a disappointed look on her face. What happened to Brandon was purely the man's fault and Rachel's departure was a risk he had to take.

"Can't you turn it around, Selena? This one chance and I won't make the same mistake again." Brandon pleaded.

The Moon Goddess shook her head, Rachel's holy blood had made her powers completely unusable to search for Rachel's whereabouts.

The Moon Goddess was silent, she could not fulfill the Alpha's request.

"Rachel has holy blood that can protect her from any power, Brandon. I can't help you because my powers can't even reach her whereabouts." Selena replied.

"I beg you just this once, please meet me with her because I deeply regret everything I've said to her. If only I didn't have bad intentions towards her then I wouldn't have lost her." Brandon pleaded with Selena.

After his request was denied by the Moon Goddess, Brandon returned feeling disappointed and regretful that he had wasted a wife as good as Rachel. If only time could be turned back, then he wouldn't have had any ill intentions towards her.

News of Rachel's disappearance continued to spread everywhere, with even the other packs vying for her whereabouts and competing to possess her. Obviously, the main topic that continued to spread reached Brandon's ears. The Alpha's protective spirit stirred, he could not stay silent if the other Alphas were going to discover Rachel's whereabouts.

"Have you instructed all the guards to return to search for Rachel's whereabouts, Victor? I don't want Rachel to be owned by another Alpha." Brandon said with his fingers busy writing something down and folded it up as he placed it in front of Victor. "Give this to a pack that is willing to cooperate with us, I will ask for their help and provide welfare guarantees."

"Are you sure, Alpha? Your job will get harder if you're handling two packs at once," Victor said, a little dubious of what his alpha was doing. Of course, the welfare Brandon was referring to was about the security and food that would be shared by a pack that was willing to accept cooperation from their pack.

"I don't mind as long as what I do is for Rachel's return. Have you heard that other packs are competing to find Rachel wherever she is? That's why I don't want Rachel to be found by other packs." Brandon said, explaining his concern for the news that had already begun to spread.

At night, Victor returned to the palace with an upset and emotional look on his face, as all the packs refused the cooperation offered by Brandon. Basically they refused the offer because they were also after Rachel, clearly Rachel's sacred blood was more valuable than the prosperity Brandon was offering.

"What's wrong, Beta?" asked Brandon, who had noticed Victor's return to their group.

"They refused the cooperation you asked for, Alpha. They're also after Rachel because her holy blood is more valuable than anything you have to offer, including prosperity." Victor replied, explaining what the alpha group he was visiting had said.

"So they dare to refuse my offer of cooperation? Well, once we get Rachel, we'll punish them for refusing my cooperation, no exceptions!" Brandon said, to which Victor nodded in reply. The rest of the pack didn't dare refuse the offer as they hoped to find Rachel and use her to do something that would destroy Brandon's Manowi pack.

However, suddenly the Moon Goddess came to Brandon that night.

"What's wrong, Selena? Why did you come to meet me?" Brandon asked with a flat face.
