Chapter 2 Are You Okay

"Rachel's specialty besides having holy blood is that I can love her and make her my wife! I will take care of her with all my heart!"

"Then, whoever dares to disturb her, I am going to chop up his body like this!" Brandon took his sword and chopped Peter's body into pieces.

Everyone was shocked. They witnessed it including Victor. He is a beta. Even Rachel had looked at Victor with the intention that he would calm Brandon down so as not to cause further trouble.

Rachel was really scared at the moment with Brandon. This was the first time she had seen Brandon, who was the most ruthless alpha running amok, even killing people for trivial reasons.

"Can't you calm down your alpha, Victor? Look at him! He's like a madman." Rachel said as she looked at Victor with a hopeful gaze.

"I can't do it, Rachel. Brandon has become brutalized because you are his wife, he has every right to be angry if anyone looks at you with an interested gaze." Victor explained his authority over Brandon. He couldn't make his alpha calm down because Victor was incapable of doing that.

"But isn't that dangerous? I mean, there will be a lot of people who hate Brandon Matthew if something like this happens again. Wouldn't that spark a war between the packs?" Rachel asked, she was curious about that. Because obviously the one Brandon killed was the alpha of a pack.

Victor exhaled then turned to Rachel and smiled. "I might be able to answer that question if we go a little further away from here so people don't hear what I'm saying."

They both moved away from the crowd and Victor led Rachel to a quiet place and explained everything to Rachel.

"As for your question just now, I will answer it. Otherwise, no one would dare to attack this group. Alpha Brandon is the favorite Alpha of the Moon Goddess, mainly because this pack is the strongest of all the packs. They will be instantly defeated if they dare to attack Alpha Brandon's pack."

Rachel listened to what Victor said. She was actually very reluctant to sit next to a powerful alpha like Brandon, especially since she was nothing compared to other women who might be more suitable for Brandon's luna position.

Brandon, whose shirt was still stained with Peter's blood, approached a frightened Rachel.

"Sweety, don't be afraid of me. I would never do the same to you." Brandon said, trying to calm Rachel down. Because, right now, the fear on Rachel's face was obvious.

"Honey, you don't have to do this. Just let the men stare at me with loving eyes, because the important thing is that I am not interested in them, and never will be. Because I already have you." Rachel tried to get up the courage to give Brandon some understanding, so that next time Brandon would not do the same thing again.

"Honey, I'm really worried about you. I'm worried that you have a lot of enemies." Rachel said again.

"Sweety, I'm your husband, this is my way of protecting you, because I love you." Brandon replied. Even though it was Rachel who gave him the advice not to kill, he would not be able to obey her. Because, he was the most ruthless alpha, and anything he could do.

He walked up to Rachel, hugged her and said, "Sweety, I'm sorry for messing up our wedding. I promise, I'll make it more memorable next time."

Rachel was already relieved that Brandon didn't throw another tantrum, even though he didn't listen to Rachel's advice.

But at least Rachel was happy, because she thought what Brandon had done earlier was a form of his love for her.

"I was not wrong to assume that you were my fate, Alpha. Your jealousy is your love for me." Rachel said in her heart.

Brandon released his hug on Rachel. "Sweety, what do brides usually do after their wedding is over?" Brandon suddenly asked Rachel with the intention of teasing her.

Rachel looked thoughtful, then shook her head. "I don't know. What is it?"

"They're going to make love. Do you want to make love to me now?" Brandon asked. He kissed Rachel on the forehead.

Rachel blushed.

"Honey, let's make love. I can't wait to put my sperm seed in your womb, so I can have a strong child soon." Brandon invited Rachel.

Then he carried Rachel to the bedroom intimately.

One month after everything happened, the incident of Brandon killing Peter was no longer the main topic for the rest of the pack.

However, while daydreaming, Rachel suddenly felt nauseous and immediately ran to the sink and vomited all the food she had eaten that morning.

Brandon, who had just entered the room, was confused because he didn't find Rachel in bed.

"Rachel!" Brandon shouted with a worried look on his face. He was afraid she would run away from the herd. He had bought her dearly because he wanted a strong child. This was because the Moon Goddess said that Rachel had holy blood.

"I'm here!" said Rachel, trembling slightly as her body suddenly weakened and she sat limply on the edge of the sink.

"Are you okay?" asked Brandon.

Rachel shook her head. Brandon quickly lifted Rachel up and carried her to the bed, he then told Victor to summon the Healer.

Moments later, a Healer arrived. She checked Rachel's condition.

"Please tell your husband about the results of your medical check-up. Okay?" The Healer said to Rachel after she told Rachel about what happened to her.

"What did the Healer say, Sweety?" asked Brandon. He went into the bedroom after the Healer returned.
