I didn't even lock the door when Mama and Laurence left, but I hadn't even gone far when someone knocked.

"Did you leave something behind, Rence?" I asked when the door opened, my eyes widened after seeing Azi don instead of Rence.

"Azi." I said in shock as I backed away, how did he know I was here?

"How are you?" He asked worriedly, I look at his teary eyes, why is he crying?

"Azriel how did you know I was here?" I asked again, not bothering to answer his question.

"Let's talk." He tried to reach my shoulder but I just moved it away from him.

"Here we don't have anything to talk about, just answer my question, what are you doing here?" I don't know why I was moved by her tears, I started crying too. Does he have nothing else to do but make me cry?

"I have something to tell you, please come home." When he begged, I shook my head before pressing the handle on the door knob.

"Don't come back here Azi, we're done so this time I don't need you." I tried to close the door, tears came out of his eyes, I saw the sadness on it but I shouldn't feel sorry for him.

I finally closed the door, feeling weak that's why I couldn't stop myself from leaning against the door.

That's when I released the tears I couldn't show to Azi, we're done, I'm done Azriel.

My body doesn't hurt too much anymore because Laurence didn't totally hit me, his car just hit me and I actually passed out on the road at that time so it's not his fault.

"You look dumb, I've seen you dumb for weeks. What are you thinking?" Laurence asked while checking my heart beat.

"It's nothing, just hungry." When I lie, he nods before putting his things away.

"Do you want something to eat? Where is your husband? He's been here for two weeks but I still haven't seen him visit." When he asked, I smiled bitterly before answering his question.

"That's because Laurence, Azi and I are gone." When I told him, I could see the shock in his eyes.

"Sorry I reminded you," he slowly looked down at my stomach. "Well, how is your son? Jade, does he know?" He asked, I nodded as answer, I took the contraceptive pill from my bag before showing it to him.

"You gotta be kiddin' me, give that trash to me, Jade." I laughed because of his reaction, I threw it at him and he also grabbed it.

"I always watch you, Jade." He said seriously, I made him suffer before taking my cellphone.

My eyes widened after seeing the many messages there from Azi.

I opened it and read it one by one.

'Mahal'

'I'm sorry'

'jade, I'm so sorry for hurting you, but I can't hurt my parents too, I'm sorry. I love you'

I was staring at his last message, what does it mean?

I ignored his message, I also had no intention of replying to his lie. How many times has he lied to me, it's hard to trust him again.

I'm the only one who's hurt.

"He said he can come out tomorrow." I turned around when Laurence spoke, he was still here.

I just nodded to him as an answer, I was sleepy and I just wanted to sleep.

"Go back to your work, I'll sleep first." I yawned after saying that, Laurence frowned at me before he left the room.

"Mahal." I slowly opened my eyes after hearing that.

"Azi?" My vision is blurry and I can't see his face very well.

"Is it a dream?" I asked again, he laughed softly before nodding.

"Beautiful dream." He's crying, I reached for his face before wiping away the tears using my thumb.

"If it's a dream, maybe I can say here everything I can't say every time I'm awake." He laughed softly before nodding.

"It's been a while since we were happy, right? If Luke hadn't disappeared, maybe it's been a year now, maybe we're still happy now." I saw her look away.

"Maybe we're already teaching her to walk, talk. Tsngina Azriel, what does Monica have that I don't have?"

"Son, wake up." I woke up after hearing my mother's voice, I held my face because tears were also falling.

"Dream, it's just a dream." I said breathlessly, it's him again.

"Did you dream? Son, why did you get a divorce? You're fine, aren't you? Do you have a problem that you're not telling me about?" He asked. "Because I don't understand, Azriel is responsible and I know he won't get a divorce just like that." He added, I nodded in response.

"He cheated." I answered as if that mother's brain has not yet processed. "He cheated and his mistress is the one who killed our son." That's when I finally hugged him.

I looked around the whole house, we were home.

"I'm ma'am." Manang Janice said, I smiled at her before handing over my things.

"Please come up to my room." He smiled at me before taking my things up to the bedroom, I went straight to the back of the house where the Pool Area is.

I dipped my feet in the water while watching the calm sky, I smiled after seeing a small dandelion growing on the edge of the swimming pool.

"How did you grow here?" When I talked to him, I laughed because of what I was doing. I'm going crazy.

I slowly held it out and looked at it while it was in my hand.

It still has roots but I let it go.

I looked at the end where it was slowly losing its life, I moved my eyes to the ground where I pulled it out, as if something was missing.

Their separation from each other affected them equally, like Azi and I, well maybe it only affected me because someone immediately took my place.

I took a deep breath before returning the nearby wilted dandelion to the ground, I planted it again hoping to survive since it still had roots.

I felt the air for a few more minutes before deciding to go back inside.

What if I talk to him? Closure so I can give myself a chance to start a new life without him.

I approached the sketch I was designing in the past, I sat down in the chair before starting to work again.

I was knocked on the table because no design came to my mind.

"Azriel, get out of my brain, please, even now." I said angrily to the wind, I can't work.

I moved the scetch pad to another page hoping to find a good design that I can also use in my current design, but I immediately stopped after seeing Azriel's face there.

Annoyed, I tore it up and crumpled it up before putting it in the trash.

"When will you leave my mind?" I said stressed, I turned around when my cellphone rang, I didn't know where to look because the wedding ring and engagement ring that I knew I had given to Azriel were on my desk, did he leave them?

I answer his call, it's Laurence as I expected.

"Where is good to eat?" It opened immediately.

"Why? Are you hungry? Just eat hospital food." I said sarcastically, he laughed softly because there was a trace of annoyance in my voice.

"I'll pick you up, I'll cook for you so you can forget the taste of Hospital food." He answered, I raised my eyebrows even though I couldn't see him.

"Do you know how to cook?"

"Probably, don't ask too many questions." I was going to speak but he immediately hung up.

AZRIEL'S POV

"Where are you going?" I stopped when Monica spoke.

"Business." I answered simply, he raised an eyebrow at me before blocking my path.

"Business or Jade's?" He asked annoyed, I just ignored him because I didn't want a fight.

"Monica, I'm leaving." I said calmly but he still didn't leave, he walked closer to me before pulling me back upstairs.

"What the hell Monica!? I'm late, how many times do I need to tell you that I'm going to a business transaction? You're being paranoid." I said to him annoyed.

"I know you're going to see Jade, I'll tell this to y-"

"Alright, tell me so that I can really go back to my mother." I cut off what he had to say, I ignored him before leaving the house.

"I'm sorry, please don't leave me." He followed me out of the house.

"Come back inside Monica."

"No, let's fix this."

"Let's fix this later but for now, go back inside I'm late." I said before finally getting into my car.

This is not the life I've dreamed about.

I was currently driving when I saw two people covered in a jacket, I know her but I don't know the man. It's Jade, she seems so happy. I just smile bitterly while looking at them.

"It's not a dream, Jade." I said before continuing to drive.

I actually went to the Hospital at that time, she asked if it was a dream and I just said yes so she wouldn't throw me away, I know she's in deep hurt but I can't do anything about it.

I went home because I was with my parents in this business transaction.

"Mom, Dad." I hugged them when I entered the house.

"How's Jade?" Mom asked worriedly.

"She's fine, don't worry." When I ease into it.

We're both stuck here.

"Let's go, we're late for the flight." I helped them carry their things before we finally left the house.

I'll fix this.

JADE'S POV

"Where are we going? It looks like it's going to rain." I said as I opened the gate.

"Let's go to my unit, right there in the nearby condo." He supported me going down the stairs before we walked together to his condo unit.

He never ran out of jokes while we were walking, a bit corny but his laugh was funny so I was already infected.

"Laurence it's getting darker and darker oh." I said while looking at the sky.

He took off his jacket and asked me to wear it. "Just in case." I grinned at him but we hadn't gone far when it suddenly started to rain heavily.

"I'm telling you, Rence." I said before taking off the jacket and putting us together.

"Run, Rence, we'll both be here if you walk with me." I pushed him away but he didn't leave me, he held the jacket while we were walking fast, I can't run that's why Laurence will leave me when he runs.

The cars stopped at the same time, I don't know if I just turned my eyes because I saw Azi's car, I didn't pay attention to it because we were getting wet.

Laurence handed me a shirt and pants, he said it was his ex-girlfriend's, he said he was going to give it to me in case he broke up with her.

"Thank you." I went straight to the bathroom and changed my clothes there because I was already wet, just as I came out Laurence was wiping my hair and it was obvious that he had just changed his clothes as well.

"What do you want to eat?" He asked.

"Pickle." I answered with a smile, he made me sit on the sofa while he cooked.

I just watched netflix until he finished cooking, then he had dinner.

"Let's eat." He leads the prayer, I just looked at him the whole time he prayed.

"Amen." I closed my eyes after hearing that.

He spooned me food so I immediately tasted it.

Why does it taste the same as Azriel's cooking? I tasted it once more and both tasted the same.

"Where did you learn to cook adobo?" I asked, he finished chewing before answering my question.

"To your wife." I almost choked after he said that, that's why.

"It's delicious, isn't it?" His answer seemed to be doubtful, I faked a smile before nodding.

"It's good, it's good." I answered awkwardly.
