Chapter 4 IV

In the valleys of San Nikolas, life still goes on and the gazes of the neighbors who make up that territory are still warm. The arrival of spring has brought with it a joviality that very few expected; Because the previous year the only thing that this season brought was a famine poorly conceived by the greatest interpreters of the matter.

In itself, many young people as a result of this had to migrate to the coast to earn their daily bread and receive a fee that satisfies them to buy basic necessities. Once the latter was obtained, they sent him to his lineage of first consanguinity.

The desperation and anguish was so great that some of those ephebes left their fiancées and cohabitants to be able to survive in a foreign land. The lack of interest in foreseeing that something bad could happen was also their punishment because they did not save bread for May as they say. But this time everything aims to be totally dissimilar.

The crops are already blooming and the fruit plants are in a bloom not seen before by millennials; but by the people of the last century where the crops were better.

It is still possible to imagine how the large machines will be used to perform their function of extracting the grain from the dry cereal pods. The wives of those farmers are also expected to bring sumptuous lunches for those who are working hard and evenly at such costly work.

As is common, boys and girls also come to help their parents with their little efforts, since those known in this area and as is normal in many parts of the rural area, they make their children work from an age where they have that desire to help. Curiosity is common at this stage.

Furthermore, the same philosophy of such parents leads them to teach them to work from an early age, because they believe that, if they do not do the latter, their future representatives of their ancestry will be lazy and the latter will lead them to delinquency as It happens very often in some parts of the urban area of the country.

For this reason, both men and women learn to perform in any job that the field provides. It seems that their philosophies about work in most cases work. But sometimes it is altered by the indisposition with which some children are born who in a few years will become young people, who certainly have a philosophy and ideology so varied and completely different from that of their ancestors. So much so that his rebellion seems to be closer than expected.

Such is the case of Jenky Danko, since he was born and conceived by his parents, they treated him in such a special way. Of course, for her, her parents had to swallow their pride and work twice as long to give a good life to this young man, who, given her circumstances, is at that stage.

The conditions in this area do not allow one to have the luxury of living so well off or at least one is the son of a powerful authority and has a good salary.

Since Jenky's parents are not so well-off or extremely poor, their lives run in a particular way. Since he was a child, he had no shortage of caresses, affection and esteem from both her cousin Fanny and her aunt Margot. Always the good feelings towards him were enough and supplied him. Along with her, her parents took care of her with different contraceptive methods so as not to give him another relative and with this he became an only child as expected.

He completed his basic primary school studies satisfactorily at a local state school that was located just two kilometers from his peaceful home. Of course there were other private educational institutions that gave better lessons and where he learned more. But to completely satisfy his first-born son, they were going to enroll him in one of those schools as soon as he started studying in high school.

In the first instance, that finicky child did not agree to go to a school that he was not destined to attend. Well, he had conceived the idea from his cousin Fanny that those national schools do not provide good education like the private ones. Furthermore, when they are complained about this matter, it is nothing, as if it were trivial, however, in the latter, they do pay attention for the simple fact that they are stunned at losing a responsible client. Since if they continue to make their mistakes, you logically stop going to those places and consequently their entire investment is dismantled and altered.

His parents, upon hearing this elucidation that that creature had given them with such firmness, were stunned and gloomy for not giving him the opportunity since he began studying in a good school to prepare himself in the best way.

Since there was no turning back, they rather managed to dissuade him from thinking badly of the national schools, and they enrolled him with great integrity and alacrity. But those ideas that came to him from his cousin Fanny began to keep him in a little surprise box inside his brain.

From his aunt Margot, one of her few ideas that he kept was also about his sentimental issues. Yes, she had noticed the precocity of the child of that time, both in the close-up subjects and in the themes of the love that she felt for one of her classmates at that time. As was natural for him, he was eager to listen to the ideals of his two relatives.

On one of those afternoons of overwhelming sun, he managed to convince the woman already in love with him, who was previously his partner and friend called Rosanet. Which his friends took as the beautiful girl, with a charming and captivating smile.

It was already normal to hear those adjectives from those nine and ten year old children. Although Danko was not that age, his cousin and aunt's repetition of the countless tricks that young men and "guys" do to win over a girl was no longer new to him; he was used to hearing that.

What did leave him wondering and petrified was what his aunt mentioned to him that in his life he had to go through seven lovers before finding the right one or the one and if he found the seventh person in his life, he had to take care of this one. Too much for him not to leave because the eighth was going to break his heart into a thousand pieces and this person was going to be impossible to repair what he was suffering. Therefore, since he could not interpret that message that he was receiving completely correctly, it left him more than flabbergasted.

To clear up some of his doubts, he went to ask his parents, who answered all of his doubts with such clarity and affection so that he could understand better. But when they heard the matter mentioned, they remained in suspense, not knowing whether to respond to it as they had done before or to leave it there so that there would be no repercussions. They opted for the second.

They only bothered to ask where he had conceived such an erratic idea for them. And since Jenky did not want to tell them who she had acquired it from, they tried to manipulate him into telling them the person who had told him that.

But this time the little boy behaved like a clever person and there was no way he was going to tell them the person. Well, he had made a pact with his two female relatives that he was not going to betray them for anything in the world. So much so that he had signed a commitment, in which he mentioned that if there was a felony on his part, his relations with the two were not going to go well and they were never going to tell them or give them excellent ideas for personal growth. of the.

That deal was more than closed, without him realizing it. His two friends and confidants at that time were acting as governesses. During that meeting with his parents, he asked them if they had both been right to be the seventh people in their lives.

Faced with that imprudent question, he received a scolding from his father who was out of his mind and immediately ordered him to go to his room since it was more than done, that they were going to punish him. As soon as he was upset, he went to his room where a few drawers were waiting for him to be kicked by the crazy boy.

His father suddenly began to investigate where that message came from, which gradually caused the boy, as they called him, to alter his reactions.

In about two hours, he asked his two grocers, who responded that they had not seen him that day, much less had they had any conversation with him to mention it. Immediately he managed to question the missing housewife who was going to rest in his room. As he caught up with him in time on the last step of the stairs, he managed to continue with his investigation.

The answer was also negative. He immediately went to continue investigating the man to his neighbors. Where after so much intermittence the only thing he received was a few glasses of refreshing drink and a few apologies for not being able to help him.

After returning, he ran into the two who were responsible for that matter, but since he had great respect for them and he felt consideration for her, he did not even dare to discuss the subject. In that trance she forgot what he was doing and began to discuss private matters with them.

That's why she returned to her house or to her room so calm that she had no time or interest to return to the matter. She alone managed to manage her time to discuss tomorrow's work issues, since she was expecting a very hectic day. That was because day by day the work intensified and sometimes it was a little tedious.
