Chapter 5 Worse

I never heard anything good that I do. I was always wrong and I got told on a daily basis how much they all hated me and thought that my mother should have succeeded in her attempt. They made my life a living hell. I remember one time we were all at school, when my mother came to pick us up early and you could tell that she has been fight that morning after she dropped us off but nothing could prepare me for what we would see when we walked into that house. Everything was scattered about holes all in the wall along with blood and glass every where.

While Jasmine and Lawrence were asking where their farther awaiting an answer, I was like we need to hurry up and get out of here before he comes back to finish the task that was apparently at hand. Luckily my cousin's weren't with us that time. Ill never understand how someone thinks it's ok to be like that. It wasn't healthy to grow up in. I just wanted to be out of it all. Needless to say after he got out of jail, they told him how I felt about it. Which didn't help my situation at all.
