I woke up with a faint tingling sensation coursed through my body. I slowly opened my eyes, my vision blurry as I tried to make sense of my surroundings. Gradually, the fog lifted, and I realized that I was in my room, amidst the remnants of another wild night.
There they were, lying on the couch, the two beautiful hooks who had joined me in my temporary escape from reality. Their faces were serene in sleep, unaware of the temporary nature of our encounter. With a heavy sigh, I tapped them gently, urging them to wake up , "get up and leave," I said, my words were curt, lacking any emotions, but I longed for them to understand that I had no intention for any meaningful connection.
As they woke up, confusion momentarily clouded their eyes before reality set in. The blonde nictitates at me, her vulnerability palpable, while the brunette seemed composed, adopting an air of indifference. They dressed up, casting me glances that spoke their unspoken questions. I understand what they meant, I sauntered to my wardrobe and brought some bundles of dollars and I threw it at them. They picked the dollars and rushed down the stairs hearing their footsteps.
I walked to the bathroom, had my bath and get into some nice-fitted black suit. While I was wearing my twenty-four-crate gold wrist watch, one of my two personal bodyguards knocked on my door with his dark fitted suit showing his athletic shape.
"Bryan, what's the problem." I asked while I was wearing my wrist-watch.
"Your breakfast is ready," he said.
"Okay, can you help me wear this wrist-watch?" I requested.
"Sure sir," he said and move close to me. While he was helping me wear my wrist-watch I asked,
"I am using the black Mercedes, I hope it's ready?" I asked.
"Not sure," he said.
"Go and check, if it's not, tell the driver to make it ready before I finished my breakfast," I said in a commanding tone. After he was done wearing the wristwatch, he walked out of the room.
I adjusted my suit, combed my hair and look at the mirror making sure that everything is perfect and in place. After I was done checking myself in the mirror, I ambled out of the room and head to the dinning. I sat down at the dining room and savour the avocado toast my chef, Miriam had prepared.
After I was done with my breakfast, I faced Randy, my two bodyguards, which were Randy and Bryan who had arrived while I was having my breakfast, "is the car ready," I askedBryan.
"It should be sir, I have delivered your message." He answered
"It should be, if it's not I will fire the driver." I said in a commanding tone.
Naturally I hate laziness and people coming late to office although I go to work late but I collect report of late comers. I had sacked a lot of staffs in my companies and supermarket due to the fact that they come late to work or they don't take my instruction serious.
I sauntered out of the house and moved straight to the garage, where the driver has been waiting for me. I entered inside the car and we sped off. While we were about to reach my super market, my driver asked,
"do you want to pick anything at the mall."
"No, move on," I said.
"Okay sir," he said and sped off.
He retarded at the front of my company, I and my body guard came out of the car and ambled inside my company and head straight to my office while my driver accelerated to the garage. I marched inside the office with my personal bodyguard, Bryan.
After I had settled down, I took the telephone and call the manager, "bring me the report to my office." Not long after I asked for the report, my manager, Silvester entered, holding the report file I had requested.
"Good morning sir," he greeted with a smile on his face.
"Good morning, Silvester how was your night?" I inquired.
"Great and perfect," he said.
The word 'great and perfect' is what every of my workers use to replied both in my companies and supermarket, I made it compulsory after my grandmother died. I have known my grandmother to use the statement since I was in diapers.
"Great and perfect indeed, you look appealing," I commented.
"Thank you sir," he said.
"Bring me the file, I want to know who is due to be fired," I said.
Silvester moved closer to handle over the file with a smile. "You are smiling, hope you are not late." I asked.
"No, I'm not," he replied.
I glanced through the first file which was the punctuality file; the first page to the eleventh page and I found no red finger print. Which means nobody came late. There was actually one finger print that had a red color which was mine.
"Good, give me other file," I said softly in a commanding tone.
"Okay sir," he said and handle over the file.
"You can go, when I need you, I will give you a call," I said resting my back on the chair with my elbow firm on the chair's arm and my thumb on my chin.
I look at him as he walked out of the room. I had a deep breath and said to myself, "let's get to work." The file contain our financial records, I checked carefully to make sure not is wrong with the account. I analyse the record for hours, while I was analyzing it the company alarm for lunch sounded.
"Where are we going for lunch," Randy who has been staring at me for hours asked.
"Are you hungry?" I looked at him and asked.
"No...," he said.
"Of course, you guys are, I am also hungry." I said and continued with the file. After some few seconds of silence, I instructed, "tell the driver to make the car ready, we are going to my favorite canteen that's where we are having lunch."
"Okay sir," he said, and walked out of the room.
