Gabriella's pov

I froze immediately Eden's lips touched mine, but I was able to maintain myself.

He dragged me inside the house. You are hurting me" I winced in pain.

That didn't stop him he pushed me on the couch yelling in frustration, He dragged my bag from my hands And was about to hit it on the floor When I yelled in tears.

"Stop please "

I couldn't hold myself anymore, I allowed my tears to rush down heavily on my cheeks. Eden held my bag in the air looking blankly at me. He took a deep breath trying to suppress his anger, he then threw my bag on the floor and rushed off to his Room.

I sluggishly picked myself up and went into my room. Eden is so cold and heartless.

why would somebody have such a bad temper?

one minute you act normal and the next you are a devil in human form...

I noticed that since I came here not a single maid has been around, so I went to the kitchen to make something to eat. Although Eden warned me about moving around his house I couldn't help it.

I entered the kitchen and met Eden cooking I paused for a while then turned around to go back to my room.

I couldn't afford to get in trouble with him again.

He said calmly, I stood still and bowed my head waiting to hear what he had to say.

" Sorry, " he said lowly.

"I said I am sorry, " he said again in a clearer tune... I nodded my head giving him the impression that It was okay.

it's not like I had an option. I stood there contemplating on telling him why I came to the kitchen or going back to my room.

Do you mind joining me to eat ?? I'm done cooking Eden asked dishing out the food. I looked at him in almost surprise. first of all, I met him in the kitchen cooking, and then is asked me to join him.

In as much as I would have wanted to say no I just couldn't. I was about to give an answer when my stomach rumbled loudly I held onto my stomach as if telling it to shut up. Eden looked at me and gave a slight smile,

Okay, that's weird, this is the first time I have seen Eden smile this week. I offered to carry the food to the dining but of course, he refused .surprisingly the food he made was delicious ...

Yes, I recently rounded up school and was planning to start walking in my father's company before this stupid contract Came on... I Paused realizing I was talking loosely with Eden and also insulting his father's idea of Contract marriage. " you know the annoying thing is, if not for this goddamn contract I would have settled my issues with my boy....

initially, I thought we were going to a random place but then it dawned on me that we were going to my boyfriend Noel please I looked at him expecting him to give me an explanation but of course, Eden ignored me. we got to Noel's house, he asked me to step down and go inside Noel's house without knocking. I did as I was told, but how did he know where Noel stayed?

I entered the sitting room but couldn't find anyone there, curious As to why the door was opened and no one was in the sitting room I decided to check around the house.

I walked along the Corridor, heading to Noel's Room when I heard noises coming out from another Room. I stood for a second took a deep breath and opened the door.

Noel was on top of a lady banging her they were both moaning and screaming each other's name. They were So engaged in what they were doing and didn't recognize my presence.

"Noel " I yelled in tears. So you have been cheating on me all this while, And using the contracts as an excuse .. I yelled again and threw his belt on him.

The lady he was sleeping with used her clothes to cover herself, while Noel used the duvet to wrap around his body.

"Gabriella"

Noel called coming close to me.

you disgust me I yelled at him and ran off.

I Entered Eden's car and banged on the door in anger.

See I told you, love doesn't exist he said with an evil smirk. I tried holding my tears in order not to embarrass myself but I couldn't. I burst into tears.

Now that you are done crying get ready we have places to go right now and you will be resuming work by tomorrow as a representative for your father's company and as a manager in my company, so get ready.

His chauffeur dropped us in a studio. Two ladies walked up to me, one was a stylist, while the other one was in charge of my makeup. I was wondering why we had to take pictures but it was stated in the contract so I dare not complain.

I mean everyone will want to see wedding pictures to believe we are both married.

"you look stunning, " one of the ladies told me. thank you I blushed. They were not lying, I did look good. I looked at myself in the mirror satisfied with how I looked. The ladies walked me back to the studio, and Eden sat waiting patiently for me. One would think he was a nice person. he walked closer to me gazing directly at me, I felt goosebumps all over me; why was he looking at me like that? He took a step closer to me and whispered in my ears

" Even with makeup on you are still not attractive.

I forced a smile pretending not to have been affected by his words. The photographer came closer to position Eden and me. He placed Eden's hands on my waist and asked me to raise my face looking directly into Eden's eyes. My heartbeats increased while I looked into his eyes, I realized that Eden had beautiful brown eyes.

the photographer asked us to kiss each other and then I knew I was in trouble ...

I didn't realize when I wrapped my hands around his neck and deepened the kiss. His lips felt so soft and tender, I couldn't help both enjoy the moments.
