Chapter 4 Fourth Chapter.

Mountain Man began their conversation by stating, "If it makes you feel any better, you still fought me and fallon like a wildcat before you went away with the fairies to dreamland." fallon was making a reference to the combat that took place between himself and Mountain Man. Before presenting them to her, he lifted his t-shirt to display a series of claw scratches that ran the length of his chest. He then told her about the markings. The realisation hit her that her marks were In spite of the fact that she was latent, she had some degree of shifter talent. In addition to this, she had the realisation that Mountain Man was giggling rather than fuming at her.

To call her a wildcat would be somewhat of an understatement. She imagined that the tall wolf with olive-coloured fur who had reassured her that "no one ever marks our Beta" was fallon, the other person who had abducted her. The wolf had told her that "no one ever marks our Beta." The fact that he had chocolate-brown hair and an athletic build made him more of her type than anybody else could possibly be. She had a soft spot for the insane man, so she didn't mind that her wolf was roaring its displeasure.

And what exactly is the purpose of the mission that is being carried out under the codename "Operation Drug and Kidnap the Female Wolf?" Her tone made it quite clear that there was no answer that could possibly fulfil her requirements in any way, shape, or form.

Ken's smile seemed to come from somewhere deep within of him. She is an outstanding candidate for the role he had in mind and would serve it very well. It was vital for him to first fool her with some innocent white lies so that he could get a feel for her and assess whether or not his assumptions about her alleged mating were right. He did this so that he could find out whether or not he was correct in his assumptions about her purported mating. It is known by the name "jaxson Weston."

The howl that came from within her came from the wolf that resided in her head whenever she heard that name. "What did you hear about him?" "He has something that I am trying to get. Something that he owes to me that I am not entitled to."

"Ah, and now you believe that you have something that he wants and that there is going to be some sort of trade going on," said the voice that was speaking to me. It was only her misfortune to be thrust into the middle of the action during the initial games.

"You're not so much insurance as you are a little reminder that he owes me, and I'm not a patient man," according to the individual. "And I'm not a patient man."

In addition to this, she was not the kind of woman who exhibited patience. She did not like the prospect of being drugged and held against her will either. On the other hand, did anyone give a rat's behind about it? No. It was common for people to get the impression that she was too sensitive, timid, and submissive. This may have been because she was latent, or it could have simply been because she was on the little side. "Listen, maybe in your culture it's perfectly fine to drug and abduct a person, but it sure as shite isn't acceptable in mine." "Look, maybe in your culture it's perfectly fine to kidnap and drug a person."

"You are free to depart as soon as jaxson makes his way here."

The news that you were given was not exactly the most fan-freaking-tastic that you could have hoped for. Even though she knew it wouldn't do anything, a part of her wanted to yell and rant, but she also understood that it wouldn't help. It would only result in her being confined to that blasted bedroom once again, which would send both she and her wolf to the brink of insanity. In addition to this, she was a staunch believer that it was always desirable to have one's enemy in plain view. She held this conviction throughout her whole life. The inquiry being asked is, "Have you called him up yet?"

He was dishonest and lied, saying, "He'll be here soon." In fact, he had not spoKen with jaxson, and he did not intend to do so in the very near future. He believed that jaxson had moved on with his life.

As she inquired to no one in particular, "Well then, can the captive get a coffee or what?" She was not addressing anyone in particular.

In addition to Crazy Kid, Tye, and fallon, there were a total of four other men present in the room. These men were a giant man with a frowning face and a military haircut, a stunning blonde with a caramel complexion, a tall wolf with dishevelled black curls and a clown-wide smile, and a big, rough man with claw-mark scars across one cheek. Crazy Boy was the only person in the room who could be identified by name. The only person in the room with a smile on their face was that lunatic child. The thought then occurred to her that she might simply refer to them as Grumpy, Blondie, Smiley, and Burly. Her brain then came up with this notion.

The other wolves, with the exception of Tye, did not look to be the least bit excited to see her there; however, he did appear to be weirdly charmed by her for having managed to claw him. None of the other wolves appeared to be the least bit delighted to see her there. She was under the impression that they did not look well on her father. There were not many people present. She had the idea that the smile that was permanently plastered on his face was something that he usually wore, even if even the wolf that was gleefully giggling appeared more interested than friendly. Or, it's likely that he was imagining what it would be like to sever her neck and hand it over to her jackass of a father, all wrapped up and made up like a gift. This is another possibility. Because of his arrogance, craftiness, and conviction that "I own the world and can do whatever the hell I want," her father was as adept at accumulating enemies as he was at amassing supporters. He believed that "I own the world and can do whatever the hell I want." It was all a question of political manoeuvring; even those who associated themselves with him did so only because of how strong he was. Even those who connected themselves with him did so only because of how powerful he was.

In response to her questioning, Ken nodded in the direction of martins, who was grinning to himself as he switched on the coffee machine and pulled a cup out of the cabinet. martins was answering her question. After that, martins flashed a grin at Ken. Ken showed his interest in her by tilting his head slightly in her direction as he looked at her. The person speaking said, "You know, you're not at all what I expected at all," in reference to the listener.

Her reaction was direct and unambiguous: "Is that right?"

Rossoe likes those that he describes as "airheads" and "submissives." She did not have the look of a bimbo, despite the fact that she had blonde hair and blue eyes. There was no mistaking the sharp and keen intelligence that lay dormant behind those charcoal-coloured eyes. It's strange how a person's soul mate could be the exact opposite of what they're searching for in a relationship, but that doesn't mean they aren't meant to be together.

I told myself, "He's not the one for me," and I was right. It turned out to have a lot more attitude than she had expected it to have when she first wrote it.

Why, if you haven't found your true love yet, would you want to risk your happiness by having sexual contact with someone else? There is no evidence to support the hypothesis that you will be unable to find him in the allotted amount of time. There is no way that you are older than twenty-four or twenty-five years old."
