Chapter 10 That call saved me

I've had a hard problem sleeping since the incident that happened a few years ago. I've received treatment over the years , though it has improved over the years, but I still find it hard to sleep sometimes especially when I am in another person's house.

Sleep was gradually coming when I felt someone on top of me. The person drew close to my face and kissed my forehead, from my forehead down to my nose, before I could react, the person started kissing my lips.

I knew it was Rose, I tried to push her away, but the effect of the wine I had earlier was still in my blood.

Before I knew what was happening, I started responding. I took over from her and returned the kiss. I changed my position to be on top of her while still kissing her passionately. I could feel my lower body pressed against hers and I could hear her soft moans in the quiet room. She suddenly removed her nightie and her upper body was naked and only panties left......

I lost the last bit of self control left in me and pulled her closer to feel her boobs with my hands. We were both in our worlds. I had removed my top and was left in my shorts, as I was to pull her panties down, my phone rang. I still didn't bulge and continued what I was doing. It rang the second time,that was when I stopped and tried to reach out for my phone on the floor.

I had taken my phone already before Rose tried to stop me but my eyes cleared when I saw the caller.

Why is she calling so late? I thought

I became sober immediately, without thinking, I picked up and said "hello"

She was about to say something when Rose pulled me closer and moaned my name.

Did she hear that? .

The other line became silent and I didn't know what to say next. While I was thinking of what to say, she suddenly said, " sorry for disturbing you sir. Could you please come home tomorrow, I have something important I want to discuss with you sir".

I just replied "okay" then she hung up.

Immediately she ended the call, I loosened myself from her embrace and quickly put on my clothes. While I was doing that, Rose kept calling my name but I didn't answer. Once I was done wearing my clothes, I left immediately. I didn't care whether she couldn't sleep alone on her own.

On my way back to the mansion, yes, I decided to go home this morning because it was already past twelve. The thoughts of what happened consumed me, I couldn't help but feel guilty. She just caught me cheating. I said to myself.

I'm glad she called at that moment, what would have happened if I had continued and slept with her? Not when I just got married. I knew she planned everything and I fell into her trap.

I arrived at the mansion around 1am. My security man was there to open the gates because I had called him earlier to inform me.

As I entered the house,I saw Sophie coming towards me. She welcomed me and tried to help with my bag which I declined politely. I went straight into my room and locked the door. I needed to be alone this morning.

I just came out of the bathroom when I heard someone knock on my door. I quickly changed into my clothes and opened the door. I saw Sophie at the door holding a first aid box. I looked at her to see whether she was hurt anywhere. While I was doing that, she pointed towards my neck and I noticed marks on my neck .

F**ck! That girl left hickeys on my neck

Wait, why would my wife bring a first aid box to help treat an hickey another woman left on my body?

Is she that clueless?????

She dropped the box on the floor and left.

I was confused, wait, what was that? Is she that dumb? She didn't know anything about hickeys?

I took the box and dropped it on my table and went to lie on the bed.

The events of what happened today kept me awake. I couldn't stop thinking about how that call saved my life. I knew what would happen next if I had gone ahead with what I was about to do. That was her plan all along, but it was too late.......
