Chapter 5 Miss you so much

Kaima and their sales girl, Lisa were having a busy day at the shop. Kaima is baking and preparing coffee while Lisa attends to their customers. It's 2pm in the afternoon and workers are having their breaks as such coming to eat lunch in the shop as well.

Soon Sarah and Adrian walked in. Adrian sat down at a corner as Sarah went to place their order and also call Kaima out.

"I need two cups of coffee, one with milk and one without milk then four cupcakes please". Sarah requested acting like a boss lady which made Kaima laugh.

"On it's way ma'am". Kaima smiled at her as she prepared it. In five minutes, she was done and went to serve Sarah and Adrian herself.

"Hi guys! Here is your order". She said smiling and putting them down on the table.

"How are you doing Kaima?" Adrian asked looking at the two ladies hugging each other.

"Am fine thank you. I just can't stay home anymore after staying in the hospital for that long". She said as she looked at Adrian.

"Stubborn child! What were we expecting?" Sarah said while rolling her eyes then hold her head in her hands.

They all laughed at sarah's comment. They talked for a short period of time since everyone has to go back to work.

"Kaima! If you need a brother, am here for you okay? Never forget this" Adrian assured Kaima as they were standing outside the mini shop in front of Sarah's car.

"Noted! Thank you so much for everything, I really appreciate it and also for making Sarah happy too". Kaima appreciated as Sarah looked at her smiling.

"It's nothing, you don't have to be thankful to me. Let's thank God instead". He said smiling.

Sarah hugged Kaima as they said their goodbye and promised to see soon. Adrian also hugged Kaima and said goodbye before they left.

Kaima waved at them till they were out of sight before going back Inside.

"What do you think of my friend?" Sarah asked as she was driving since it's her car they came with.

"Kaima?" Adrian asked with the intentions of teasing Sarah a little.

"Yes of course, who else?" Sarah yelled in frustration.

"She's cool and also an amazing person. She's good for you". He said sincerely smiling since he accomplished his mission.

"I told you, she's been an amazing friend from day one and am lucky to have her". Sarah said feeling good with herself as a big smile is plastered on her face.

Soon they arrived at D.A.C Estates and luxury homes building as Sarah came to a stop.

"Call me when you are done with work okay? I love you!" Adrian kissed her lips then her forehead as he was about going out of the car.

"I will. I love you too babe". Sarah said looking at Adrian with eyes full of love as he alighted from the car and walked straight to the entrance of the building and Sarah drove off.

Sarah manages her family jewelry business. They import jewelries from other jewelry manufacturing companies then sell them.

Sarah being the only child of the Martin's has to take the responsibility. She lost her baby sister at birth and since then Mrs Martins was unable to conceive again.

Her parents only travel from one conutry to another enjoying themselves. Visiting places and partying.

Each time she complaines, they say it's her business now and not theirs so they need to do whatever makes them happy and fulfilled.

She has now accepted it but still ask help from her dad who is still willing to help sometimes.

"Lola where are the newly imported jewelries that arrived this week? I want to see them all!" She requested from her secretary.

"Am right on it now ma" Lola replied as she walked away to get them.

Soon she came back with four guys carrying the big box of jewelries.

"Here they are ma" she said to Sarah as the guys put the box down.

Sarah looked at them carefully, making sure it's what she ordered for.

"Have them displayed, we will be having some important clients today". She instructed Lola as she faced her laptop to continue working.

Jordan is at a board meeting with the board members and few workers. He made sure no one goes against his order and no one dared to do so. Jordan seems to be ruthless in business dealings these few months. Not like anyone excepted less from a cold and expressionless man like him.

After an hour, the meeting ended and Jordan asked Ivan to get him something to eat as he walked to his office.

'I miss you so much mom. Am so sorry, I wish you were here with me'. Jordan thought sadly standing at the window of his office with his hands inside the pocket of his suit pant as he looked outside.

Ivan walked in with Mrs Cruz as he dropped the food on the table then left.

"I miss her too you know! Am sure she would be proud of what you have become over the years". Mrs Cruz said sadly looking at Jordan who was still standing at the window.

Jordan turned slowly to face Mrs Cruz with a face that has no expression on it which made it difficult for her to understand what he was feeling.

"Have a sit mom. What can I offer you?" He said going to the mini bar in the corner of his office.

"Champagne will do". She said as she sat down, kept her bag on the table and relaxed into the chair.

Jordan brought two glass of champagne and handed one to her as he took his sit.

"You look good mom" he said sipping from his glass.

"Thank you son! I came to check on you to see how you are doing. I will be traveling to the philippines in a week time. We have movie to shot". She informed him.

" Oh sometimes, I forget you are an actress. No wonder you don't want to look old even for a minute". Jordan said.

"You can say that again, well I just have to look my best and maintain the good looks and shape". Mrs Cruz explained smiling.

Jordan just nods his head while drinking his champagne as they talked for a while.

"I will be leaving now and one more thing, I want to have dinner with you, Adrian, Sarah and kyle on Friday so make sure to be there. Okay?". She said as she stood up to leave.

"Okay mom and take care of yourself" he replied her.

"I will and you do same. I love you my boy!" She said as she left.

Jordan opened the food and started eating.
