Chapter 3 The discharge

It was 5pm and Jordan was already at the Styles mansion. His dad, Mr Styles was sitting down on the couch in the living room with his wife by him side.

'Good evening dad!' Jordan greeted as he got to the living room.

'Evening son, didn't you see your mom? Or have you gone blind?'. Mr Styles asked Jordan a little angry.

Jordan like always never answers or say anything when it has to do with his mom. He stopped talking to her or going close to her since he clocked nineteen and since then he developed hatred for women.

'It's okay honey please let him be!' Mrs Styles said calming her husband down.

Jordan sat down on the one sitter couch and not long kyle walked down the stairs in a blue T shirt and black pant with a Gucci slippers.

' Hi dad! Hi mom!' he greeted as he sat down on the couch next to Jordan.

Mr Styles nodded his head towards kyle and Mrs Styles smiled at her son.

'Well I called this meeting so we could talk'. Mr Styles started as everyone listened carefully.

'First I will say, Jordan great work on handling the company but still put more effort son your best isn't enough'. He commented and Jordan chuckled sadly.

'Kyle, what is your problem? You won't assist your brother in handling the company and you think I will allow you to keep waisting your time on Gyming right? He inquired from his son.

'Dad, am not waisting my time okay! I love it being a Gym instructor'. Kyle said frowning his face.

'Homey let him be. You can't force him to do what he doesn't want to do'. Mrs Styles chipped in.

Mr Styles shaked his head. He can't say no to his wife but he doesn't like the work his younger son is doing. He turned to Jordan.

'And as for you Jordan, you need to start acting like the man in charge or else I Will Make sure you never be come the CEO of "Styles interior designing company". Mr Styles said but Jordan said nothing, he didn't even freak out at all.

Mr Styles stood up and left. Jordan did same going up to his room.

'And what's wrong with the rude kid? Kyle asked his mom.

'I don't know. He is your brother so try asking him yourself'. Mrs Styles said and left.

'So much drama. Goodness'. Kyle said and went out of the mansion to his car and drove off.

Adrian finished his work at the office and drove to the hospital. Sarah had called him earlier to come take her and her friend home since she has been discharged today. He pulled over at the hospital parking lot, parked his car and stepped out heading inside the hospital.

Sarah ran to hug him and took him to Kaima's ward.

Getting to the ward, Adrian felt a connection to Kaima but he couldn't explain it. He developed a liking to Kaima immediately and it was so powerful.

'Kaima meet Adrian Cruz! My boyfriend. Babe meet Kaima Johnson! My best friend'. Sarah introduced them.

'nice to finally meet you. She has told me alot about you. Sorry our first meeting had to be in the hospital'. Adrian greeted.

'same here. She has also told me alot about you so you have my blessings'. Kaima said smiling.

Rose came in to Kaima's ward to pack all her stuff. Soon they are inside Adrian's car as he drove out of the hospital premises.

'mum why is dad not here?' Kaima asked her mom.

'He is at home preparing for your coming back okay? So worry less'. Rose told her daughter.

'Daddy's girl misses her dad'. Sarah teased her.

'oh please stop! It's embarrassing'. Kaima said hiding her face as everyone got laughing.

'babe that's not cool okay?'. Adrian defended kaima.

"Oh please....... You need to see her face, beside she's a daddy's girl". Sarah teased kaima more while laughing.

In less than forty minutes, they got to kaima's house. Everyone came down from the car and went inside the house.

It's a three bedroom bungalow which Mr Jude inherited from his late father.

Rose brought some drinks for Adrian and Sarah to relax as Mr Jude walked in through the backdoor.

Sarah and kaima went to Kaima's room to arrange it and also talk while Mr Jude, Rose his wife stayed in the living room to keep Adrian company.

"Thank you so much, young man for bringing my daughter back home". Mr Jude thanked Adrian.

"No problem sir, it's my pleasure". Adrian said sipping from his soda.

"So who are you? And how do you know my daughter?". Mr Jude asked.

"Am Adrian Cruz and Sarah is my girlfriend so I got to know your daughter through Sarah". Adrian replied him.

"Wait, the CEO of D.A.C. Estates and luxury homes? Mr Jude asked amazed and overwhelmed at the thought of having such a personality in his house.

"Yes sir". Adrian replied with a smile on his face.

They talked for a while before kaima and Sarah came out and Sarah said goodbye as she held Adrian, they both left promising to visit again.
