Chapter 4 When Did You Become So Overprotective

Arya was surprised at how tense they were. She was just kidding but it seems they took it seriously and Gwen was becoming pale.

" I didn't mean it, I was just kidding. Please don't take what I say to heart " Arya said with a grin and they all began to laugh.

" Arya, meet my childhood friend Kathryn. Kathy, meet Arya my newly founded friend " Gwen did the introduction with a smiling face.

" Nice meeting you," Kathy said as she hugged Arya.

" The pleasure is mine " Arya replied with her charming smile.

" I hope I'm not left alone. No one introduced me " David said but they paid him a deaf ear as they kept on chit-chatting.

The waiter brought in the food and they began to eat. Arya took out her phone and took a picture of four of them which she uploaded on her social media platforms.

Gwen and Kathy could see the chemistry going on between Arya and David but they kept mute for them not to feel embarrassed.

From the restaurant, they drove to a shopping mall. They bought so many things and headed straight to the spa. Arya always takes pictures of any location they enter.

They drove to the beach and took some lovely pictures, they bought a burger and ice cream. It was indeed a memorable day for them.

But surprisingly, Kathryn keeps getting jealous at the slightest point. She doesn't want the closeness between Arya and Gwen. It didn't go unnoticed, Gwen saw all her reactions.

When they were done at the beach, Arya's phone buzzed but she wasn't in the mood to answer any call and she switched off her phone immediately.

" Gwen " Arya called with a pouty mouth.

" Yes dear " Gwen responded as she held Arya on her tiny waist. Kathy's gaze became dark, she almost killed Arya with her eyes.

" You know that you will be resuming work tomorrow? And you don't know my brother's house, right? Let me take you there " Arya said.

" Sure, that's not an issue honey " Gwen replied still not getting what Arya was trying to say.

" That's not what I mean. I'm saying that I want to spend the night with you " Arya opened up with her one eye closed.

" Hell no!!! ' Kathryn screamed to the amazement of everyone so she decided to cover up immediately.

" I mean, Gwen's apartment isn't large enough to contain us because I'm also passing the night at her place. I will miss her a lot and I want to be with her for the whole of today " Kathryn said nervously as she gazed at everyone.

" I don't want to go home either but it's fine, I will just go. My day was fun today, all thanks to you all " Arya said as she hugged Gwen and Kathryn.

" But I want you to spend the night in my house, my brother is lonely because mum went on a business trip," Kathryn said to Arya. Arya wasn't sure if she heard well.

" No!!! No!! No!! , it's fine Arya if you don't want to come over. I'm not scared of being alone, it's not as if I'm still a child " David said when he noticed Arya's countenance.

Arya stood for a while as if she was lost in thought, she bit her lips twice and blinked her eyes about a thousand times.

" Yes, I will go with David," Arya said happily.

" Don't flirt with me for your safety tonight " David cautioned Arya and they burst into laughter.

" David will bring you to Gwen's house tomorrow morning and you can take her to work, okay? " Kathryn said as she held Gwen's hand.

David's phone began to ring and he picked up the call, they all focused their attention on him because they were curious to know the caller.

" Who is this, please? " David asked and the voice followed up immediately.

" Where are you? I know that Gwen is with you, and I need to see her " David recalled the voice immediately and he ended the call with a mischievous smile.

" Who was that? " Kathryn asked him, she knew that she wasn't getting an answer from him.

" Arya let's go, it's getting late. We've spent our whole day roaming around Switzerland. We need to rest " David said as he grabbed Arya's wrist.

" Hey Bunny, do you want to dislocate my arms? " Arya asked David seductively as he kept drawing her to the car.

" I've told you not to be a flirt tonight, for your safety," David said and pushed her into the car. They zoomed off immediately.

Gwen and Kathryn stared at each other for a while before they got into the car and drove off.

It was almost 7:30 pm and everywhere was getting dark, Ricardo drove into his mother's mansion at high speed. He didn't even bother to pack at the garage and he finger the key to a security man who helped him in packing his car.

He dashed inside immediately and saw his mum, having her dinner in the dining. She could tell from his looks that something wasn't right.

Ricardo rushed to Arya's room but she wasn't in there, he went back to his mum and stood at her front. He has sweat all over him.

" Mum, where is Arya? " Ricardo asked his mum as he used his face towel to wipe his face.

" Arya isn't coming home tonight. She went out with friends " Ricardo's mum replied looking more confused than ever.

" Why didn't anyone tell me that she going out with friends? How did she get to know them? " Ricardo screamed angrily but he tried to remain calm.

" When did you become this overprotective? Do you know any of Arya's friends? What's up with this character? " Mrs Yolanda asked as she left the food she was eating.

" I don't want Arya to be friends with her because Arya will corrupt her. When did they become friends? " Ricardo asked not knowing that he was beginning to act weird.

" I'm sure that you are not mad, right? Why all these stupid questions? " Ricardo's mum lashed out angrily.

" But mum, why isn't Arya picking up her phone? I wanted to know their location. Just a second, I know what to do " Ricardo said and brought out his phone which he used to dial a number.

" Hello, King. I want you to hack into the contact information that I'm about to send to you, tell me the current location of the contact " Ricardo said

" Sorry, I can't do it tonight. Let me handle it by tomorrow, I'm in an important online conference meeting " King said and ended the call.

" Holy shit!!! " Ricardo said as he almost threw away his phone.

" I'm going home, mum. Call me when that flirty daughter of yours arrives, she has a lot to explain " Ricardo said and dashed out immediately, he didn't want a response from his mum.

Mrs Yolanda lost her appetite, she stood up and entered her room.

Arya was walking around Kathy's room while David was in his room. They decided not to stay in the same room. Arya took her bath but she didn't come out with her nightie, she searched Kathy's wardrobe and found a white transparent singlet and a small pant.

She was fully naked trying to put on her clothes when the door opened and she froze at the spot. David forgot totally that he came home with someone else and not Kathy.

His eyes were wide open as he saw the naked woman standing in front. What has he done? Arya couldn't react because she was still finding it difficult to believe that a man just saw her nakedness.

David didn't go back, he walked closer to her with a smile on his face.

" You are so pretty, not only your face is pretty but your body is charming. Can I resist you tonight, Arya? " David asked her as he held her waist. Arya trembled immediately.

" Why didn't you knock before coming in? "

" I wanted to regret it but don't regret it anymore," David said as he planted a kiss on her neck, he traveled down to her chest but before he could suck her nipple, she pushed him away and ran out of the room with her clothes.

" Why did she run? " David asked himself. She has always been flirty but why couldn't she stand just a kiss from him? He never wanted more, he had planned to kid her and not have sex with her.

Why did she look so scared?

He walked to his room and noticed that the door was shut, he knocked but she refused to open the door. David walked dejectedly to the guest room and fell with a heavy head.

Arya was burning hot and she decided to take another shower, she was in the bathroom when she remembered that her phone rang before. She picked up the phone and saw the missed calls from her brother.

" Wait for a big surprise tomorrow, " She said smiling.
