Chapter 5 New problems

Not long after, Hans' assistant came with Rumi's medicine. Gently patted Adnan's shoulder, when he saw his boss was emotional.

"Patience sir, she's a girl," whispered Hans reminding Adnan not to be rude or hurt Leora.

Adnan nodded understandingly then said, "I know."

While Leora took a deep breath, trying to stay calm and not get emotional. He was a little scared, seeing the look on Adnan's face that looked angry. Leora just spontaneously said it all, she couldn't see a mother being hurt. Moreover, she already feels the loss of a mother is very painful.

"Can you be quiet? Let me try to calm Aunt Rumi," said Leora casually looking at Adnan, then turned to look at Rumi who was crying and occasionally babbling softly.

Adnan snorted in annoyance, glaring at Leora. Adnan is very angry, this is the first time someone has dared to fight him. Moreover, she's a woman like Leora.

'You'll see, I'll pay you back, Leora!' Adnan growled, chose silence, and then folded his arms over his chest. Seeing how Leora could make her mother calm down.

While Leora was thinking, how to keep Rumi quiet. Leora felt sorry for Rumi who continued to cry after Adnan snapped at her earlier. Leora wanted to hit Adnan's mouth so he wouldn't yell at his mother again.

"Auntie, please listen to me first," Leora coaxed.

"Are you part of the killer? Are you going to kill me?" asked Rumi, still babbling incoherently.

Leora shook her head slowly and then said again, "No auntie, I'm not a murderer. Believe me, there is no killer as beautiful as me," Leora replied, laughing softly at Rumi.

While Adnan looked at Leora with disgust. "You call yourself beautiful? Tsk, it seems you never look in the mirror," said Adnan innocently looking at Leora with a small look.

Leora who heard Adnan's words could only be silent. If he resists, new problems will arise later. Moreover, Leors will work as a housemaid, maybe Leora should learn to be patient with Adnan from now on.

'Patience, he will become my master. So I have to be patient, for daddy's sake,' Leora thought, rubbing her chest, then turned her face away. Trying to ignore Adnan anymore.

"Auntie, you should just go to your room. It's not good to be here too long, you have to rest," Leora continued, smiling sweetly. Staring at Adnan with the corner of her eye, a second later she got a sharp and deadly gaze from the devil. Making Leora suddenly cut her gaze, and turned to look at Rumi.

Rumi shook her head. "What if there's a killer in the room?" She ask like a confused person.

"I won't," Leora said reassuringly.

In the end, Leora's persuasion was not in vain. Rumi nodded in agreement, Leora breathed a sigh of relief. On the one hand, Adnan was surprised. How could her mother just obey Leora, when Adnan was the one to persuade her it would be very difficult.

"Give me the medicine," Leora asked, looking at Adnan and Hans in turn, with hands stretched out in front.

Without wasting any more time, Hans nodded and gave the medicine in his hand to Leora.

Leora accepted the medicine, then led Rumi who had calmed down to her room. But Rumi's gaze was still blank as if there was no life in him. Leora patted her forehead lightly, she just realized that she didn't know where Rumi's room was.

"Mm, sorry, which side of the room is it?" asked Leora smiling awkwardly, scratching the back of her neck that didn't itch.

"You idiot!" Instead of answering, Adnan cursed, then left without wanting to answer Leora's question. Adnan walked leisurely with his hands in his pants pockets, passing Leora just like that.

Hans shook his head slowly, seeing his boss's behavior. No longer surprised by Adnan's attitude, from the past until now Hans always hoped that someone could change Adnan's arrogant attitude.

"Let me deliver," said Hans with his trademark flat face.

Arriving at Rumi's room, Leora helped Rumi take the medicine and told him to rest. After taking the medicine, Rumi's condition is better and much calmer. As for Hans, he was still at the door watching Leora.

"Auntie, you rest, okay?" said Leora helping Rumi lay down on the bed.

Silence, no answer from Rumi. Her gaze was vacant, not a word came out of her mouth.

"Okay, I'll go home first," said Leora with a faint smile.

Rumi suddenly looked up at Leora. "Do you want to go home?" asked Rumi openly, with a weak tone.

Leora nodded in response to Rumi's words. "Yes aunty, tomorrow I will be back. Can I start work tomorrow?" Leora thought that the sooner she started working, the better. Leora must immediately get money for her father's surgery costs.

"Yes Leora, come tomorrow morning," replied Rumi, a small smile on her face.

The corners of Leora's lips pulled up, forming a beautiful smile on her face. Leora nodded looking at Rumi closely, for some reason when she saw Rumi. Leora missed her mother, if only her mother was still alive. Leora will be very happy even though she doesn't have any money.

"Okay aunty, I'm going home first," said Leora kissed the back of Rumi's hand, then stepping out of the room.

Leora walked towards the door, saw Hans who was leaning with his arms crossed over his chest. Just like Adnan's style, the only difference is that Hans is more able to control his emotions and be kind to someone he thinks is good.

"Miss Leora, may I speak for a moment?" asked Assistant Hans, as Leora was about to pass him.

Leora turned her head, raising one eyebrow. Leora was curious about what Hans wanted to talk about. Finally, Leora chose to agree with Hans' words.

"Sure, what do you want to talk about Hans?"

"Follow me, lady," Hans said, but he just walked away past Leora. Leora shrugged nonchalantly, then followed behind Hans.

'You bastard! Boss and assistant are the same, annoying,' Leora cursed in her mind.

Hans led Leora to the front, right near the main door.

"What's wrong, Hans?" asked Leora.

"Sorry miss, what were you talking about with Mrs. Rumi just now?" A question came out of Hans' mouth, which Leora thought was very unimportant.

Leora thought there was something serious that Hans wanted to talk about, because of the serious look on his face. There was never more expression than him, natural flat without engineering.
