Chapter 3 The vampire realm

Sophie stands in awe as she enters a grand chamber filled with vampires dressed in stylish attire. Leona stands beside her, guiding her through the realm.

Wow, I never imagined vampires were these many. This is incredible! " Sophie whispered.

Welcome to the governing body of our kind. The council ensures the balance and harmony within our vampire society,".

A vampire with regal features, Gabriel, approaches them.

A newbie??, Who is this? " he asked.

This is Sophie, She had a close encounter and is now part of our world," Leona introduced Sophie.

Gabriel studies Sophie with a curious gaze.

How fortunate you are to have someone like Leona guiding you, Sophie. Adjusting to our lifestyle can be quite daunting,"

Yes, it's been overwhelming but also fascinating. I'm eager to learn more about this world," Sophie said nervously,"

Sophie and Leona kept walking along the eerie paths of the vampire realm, Leona showed her around.

That's Gabriel, leader of the werewolf slayers,"

When you say werewolf slayers....you mean you guys have something like a squad team who fights werewolves," Sophie said with much interest.

Well, you could put it like," Leona smiled.

As they turned a bend, Sophie's eyes widened with shock.

In front of her spread a vast training ground, bustling with activity.

Vampires in various states of combat were engaged in rigorous training, displaying their agility and skills.

Each engages in their methods of honing their skills.

One group of slayers was practicing their hand-to-hand combat techniques. Their bodies moved quickly, their movements fluid and seamless as they sparred with one another. The sharp sound of punches and kicks echoed across the field.

Another group of slayers was working on precision and speed. They were all on the same side of the field, and each had a wooden stake in their hand. They were taking turns tossing the stakes at each other, trying to hit the exposed areas on their chest.

A separate group of slayers had set up an obstacle course consisting of tall barriers and balancing beams, testing their agility and accuracy.

One by one, the slayers took turns going through the course, some completing it with ease, while others stumbled and fell.

Amidst all this activity, a young female slayer stood alone, in a serene corner surrounded by trees. Her closed eyes indicated she was in deep concentration, her arms stretched out in front of her as she practiced controlling her powers of telekinesis.

She was determined to master this ability, and as she focused, the nearby trees swayed and bent in unison with her will.

Sophie couldn't contain her astonishment. "Leona, what kind of place is this?" she asked, her voice filled with wonder.

Leona smiled and replied, "This is where the werewolf slayers come for their training. It's a haven for us to hone our skills and prepare for the battles against the creatures of the night."

The werewolf slayers are a diverse group with different skill sets, they aim to protect and fight off the werewolves.

Amazement glinted in Sophie's eyes as she absorbed the information.

Alexander walked up to them along with Isabella by his side.

My Lord," Leona bowed.

Alexander nods to his greetings and faces the werewolf Slayers.

They are improving quite well," Alexandra said.

Inform Gabriel to get the werewolf Slayers ready, they are going on a mission," Alexandra said,

I want to join them," Sophie declared, excitement bubbling within her.

She had planned to avenge her parent's death, and training amongst these vampires was a way she could get more strength.

Leona hesitated, concern etching her face. "Sophie...., it might be dangerous.

You will die, the training is not for kids," Alexander glared at her with hatred in his eyes and walked away.

Sophie's eyes gathered tears, she just didn't understand why Alexander hated her so much.

You're new to this world, and the training can be intense," Leona tried advising her.

She was about to protest when Leona interrupted.

It's best if you focus on practicing with me.", Leona smiled.

Sophie's determination flickered momentarily but quickly resurfaced.

"I know it won't be easy, Leona, but I want to become a skilled werewolf slayer,"

Leona studied Sophie's resolute expression, her doubts mixing with admiration.

"Alright," he finally conceded, "but promise me you'll stay focused and be cautious."

Sophie nodded eagerly, gratitude radiating from her.

Together, they made their way toward the group of vampire slayers.

As they approached, the vampire slayers broke off from their training and approached Leona, they all bowed at once.

Leona went to meet Gabriel to deliver Alexander's message.

One of them, a female slayer with fiery red hair and piercing blue eyes, stepped forward.

"Hey there! I'm Aurora," she greeted with a warm smile.

Welcome to our world, Have not seen you around are you new perhaps?."

Yes, I am,"

Ohh, that explains it, well if you want to join the werewolf Slayers, you are always welcome" Aurora smiled.

Sophie returned the smile, feeling an instant connection with Aurora. "Thank you, Aurora,"

I plan on joining the werewolf slaying team," Sophie said excitedly.

Aurora chuckled, "Well, you've certainly come to the right place. Training may be tough, but we stick together like a family. Trust me, you'll fit right in."

Leona left Sophie to explore the rest herself as he had something urgent to take care of.

Sophie walked through the streets She knew nothing of this realm except that it was filled with vampires.

As she walked through the streets, she noticed a tall, handsome man staring at her from the shadows. She felt his gaze upon her and quickly turned her head, but he had already spotted her.

The guy slowly approached her, his eyes gleaming as if he knew something she didn't.

"Hello there," he said with a charming smile.

Sophie hesitated, cautious of his intentions. "Hi," she replied nervously.

"I couldn't help but notice you're new here," he said, gesturing to her bewildered expression.

Sophie nodded, still hesitant. "Yes, I just arrived."

"Allow me to introduce myself," the guy said, extending his hand. "My name is Victor."

Sophie shook his hand, still wary of his intentions. "I'm Sophie."

Victor noticed her unease and quickly eased her apprehensions.

"Don't worry, Sophie. I'm not here to harm you, moreover, I'm a human,"

Sophie's eyes widened at this revelation. "A human? What are you doing here?"

Victor chuckled at her surprise. "I'm also a werewolf slayer," he said, flashing his badge, which indicated his affiliation with the Order of the Silver Moon.

Sophie's eyes gleamed with curiosity. "A werewolf slayer? Can humans fight werewolves?"

Victor nodded confidently. "Yes, few of us can. The Order specializes in taking down werewolves.

Sophie listened in awe as Victor recounted his experiences as a werewolf slayer, sharing his tactics and strategies for taking down werewolves. As they talked, Sophie felt herself drawn to him, his bravery and confidence captivating her.

"I want to be a werewolf slayer too," Sophie said, her eyes burning with determination. "I want to avenge my parents' deaths." She said sadly.

Victor smiled, recognizing the same fire in her eyes that he had once possessed. "I can help you become a powerful werewolf slayer, Sophie. But it won't be easy. The Order demands physical and mental strength, as well as determination and discipline."

Sophie nodded, eager to take on the challenge. She knew that by training with Victor and the others, she could finally avenge her parents' deaths and protect others from the dangers of the supernatural world.

As the night fell around them,

It's getting dark, can you please take me to the female quarters," Sophie requested.

Of course," he took her there and they bid farewell.
