Chapter 3 Three

I squinted my eyes and forced myself to wake up, as my entire body was burning, and I was feeling so tired. I tilted my head to the left when I saw a figure in a brown suit looking out through the window. His broad shoulders made the suit fit to his body. He was 6'7 meters tall and his scent was mesmerizing, one could tell he was royal from his scent.

"You are awake? Prepare for your new assignment, you will be given a good role."

He said as he turned to me. Those Caribbean eyes, those red kissable lips that wear the softest smile ever on his spotless face. I stared at him as emotions kept running through me, I wanted to hold him and kiss him. I wanted to lay on his chest until I fell asleep.

"Can I hold you?"

I heard my timid voice speak, and he raised a brow. Without moving an inch, I climbed down from the bed and hugged him from behind. I felt at ease, relaxed and loved but, I wasn't all that comfortable. Just then, someone walked in holding a portrait. I quickly took it from him as he bowed and left.

"What?"

I stared at the portrait, then at Teddy. Really, I wasn't dreaming it wasn't a dream? All that was real. He was already mated to my sister. Realizing that, I felt anger build up inside of me. I just felt like stabbing him. I could kill him at instant.

"Why did you do this? Why? Why Teddy? How did I offend you?"

I asked him, tearing up immediately yet again, my heart ached badly. I would rather not feel this pain . He should talk to me.

"There is nothing to know Emily, you ain't just good for me, you can't be the Luna your background status..."

"You... Teddy!"

I yelled at him, and I let my tears roll down my face. I could see his mind was already made up what else can be done, nothing the bonding already took place.

"Teddy! Get out!"

I yelled I didn't consider whether he is the Alpha or not, that doesn't matter to me I just hate him already for his betrayal, lies and changing the fate the goddess bestows on us.

"You are up?"

My father the beta came in, and I burst into tears.

"I thought you loved me? Why did you allow this evil to happen?"

I asked him and the rest families came inside the Alpha and his wife, Mother and Becky.

"You are here, I have been searching everywhere for you. It isn't good staying alone with Emily presently."

Becky, hugged Teddy immediately she walked in and looked at me with a melancholic face. I didn't regard her attitude as I kept staring at father, who didn't say anything.

"We didn't want our son to be cursed or under any evil spell." the Alpha said, and the Luna nodded.

"We ain't sorry about that."

The Luna seconded and I nodded like I understood it. But, I didn't maybe I did anyway after all, Becky and Teddy are already bonded.

"Well, Emily, for the love we have in our heart for you..." hearing my father say that, I burst into loud laughter. I couldn't contain it. It sounded so foolish to me.

"Love? You guys have love? I doubt."

I speak and mother motioned on me to keep quiet while, Teddy just gazed at me saying nothing. Likewise, I doubt if he is interested in the conversation going on here.

"Now, what do you all want?"

I asked after looking at Becky. I discovered a better life, has been choose for her and me? Who knows what next? Whether I will be bonded to anyone, I do not know.

"Yes, my husband was going to say that before you interrupted. Spoiled brat."

Mother cursed I didn't consider her insult because, she has always been like that to me and that doesn't bother me, not even at this moment.

"The Alpha, has an offer for you. They're considering you coming to the palace to serve..."

"Serve Becky? As a maid?"

I interrupted his speech, and that wasn't a lie. He looked at mother and her face was pleading me to accept.

"No! Why should I be treated like the maid? Why?"

I asked angrily I was furious because, that's the height of what I expected. I didn't realize they can be so cruel.

" Because, that's who you are. And that's where you are supposed to be."

Becky replied angrily, finally shifting away from Teddy's cuddle.

"You are shameless, you took what belonged to your sister and claimed over it."

I charged at her and the Alpha looked at his Luna. Teddy just kept looking at us and didn't say a word. I'm ain't feeling ashamed anymore.

"You are talking to my Luna! I chose her and you have to accept it."

Teddy, suddenly voiced out, and I was taken aback. I looked at him sorrowfully, feeling pity for myself. Teddy, just defended Becky without a second thought. I'm lost, I definitely have lost him. Mother was beyond excited to witness this, and Becky blushed.

" Heard that low Omega? That's who you are, you can never attain the height of a Luna."

Becky, sneered and I saw mother and father look at each other.

" Omega?"

I murmured in my heart, looking at everyone as they went silent, especially Father. Becky, regretted saying it in her reactions I could tell she was.

"I don't understand?"

I voiced in hushly.

"Tell her dad, so she could know her place and stop comparing herself to me. She should be grateful for all we did for her."

Becky, spoke, and I walked up to her, looking her in the eyes.

"What do you mean?" I asked Becky, dragging her out to stand in the middle and explain herself.

"Do not take it upon yourself Emily, it's a matter to be settled amicably, and we will give you a good life."

The Luna said, and I smiled at her bitterly. Indeed, such a good life. I kept looking at Becky to say something, but, it looked like she had nothing to say, and I turned to Mother.

" Yes, you are an Omega and that's no news."

She broke the news and my heart shattered. I'm I failing to accept my identity? Ain't they my biological parents?

"How?"

I asked them and immediately, Teddy and his parents left, leaving us to discuss alone. I was so consumed in knowing my real identity now I just want to know everything.
