Chapter 2 Evil Devil

Orchid blinked severally, seems her hope had been broken immediately he said those words.

She has never seen this man in her entire life, how come he hated her so much already?

Dry up her blood?

"Why?" She asked slowly and silently. He chuckled loudly, standing up.

"You dare question me?" He muttered.

"How dare you talk back to him, you b*tch!" Madame Lilah shouted and hit her head.

Marino angrily caught her hand and twisted it back slightly.

"Never lay your hands on her. She's mine! MINE!!" He growled and she nodded fearfully, feeling the pain on her hand. No one spoke, they all stared at him as he did his thing.

He left her and held Orchid's hand dragging her out of the building.

She groaned as he held her hand tightly and forced her into the car.

"I'm not leaving." She muttered.

"I'm not going with you, I don't want to!!" She screamed. He stared at her slowly as she screamed and the tears fell out of her eyes.

"Why are you crying?" He said in a calm voice that made her wonder if that was the same man who had threatened her earlier. She stared at him and he chuckled slowly, before cleaning her tears.

"You shouldn't waste those pretty pearls now, darling. I've not even started with you yet." He smirked and that was when Orchid realized she was in the lion's den. Did she call Madame Lilah's house, hell? This was hell, and its king was right beside her, staring into her emerald eyes.

"Come down." He said as they got to the large Manor. It looked pretty much like a castle, with plenty of rooms in the house.

A beautiful fountain stood right in the middle of the compound, a woman with black dress was standing with her arms open, like she was ready to murder anyone who cared to run into those arms.

Orchid shivered as she looked at the woman's face, two fangs coming out and red blood coming out from her mouth. It looked so real and she was d@mn afraid.

"What are you doing?" Marino muttered and she turned to look at him, without a word.

"I asked a question!" He thundered and she opened her mouth to speak but it felt like the words were being pushed back in.

"Answer me when I talk to you!!" He growled, his hands quickly wrapping around her neck, he sure was quick to anger. Her face turned red and her legs were thrashing round in the air. Just as she saw her life flash right before her eyes, he dropped her carelessly on the floor like she was some item.

The guards in the compound did not look fazed, it was like this was something that happened occasionally.

Orchid realized that in this place, no one could save her, she had to survive alone. She coughed repeatedly trying to catch her breaths.

"Do you hear me?" He asked slowly and she nodded.

"Words..."

"Yes."

"Master. You call me Master!" He corrected and she blinked, the tears falling again.

"Yes, Master.." she croaked. She couldn't understand why he was doing this to her. She has never met or seen this man in her whole life and he was just so evil to her.

She couldn't understand why? What had she done to deserve this treatment? Was there a mark of her forehead that read, Hate?

She looked up and realized he had started going in and she forced her feet to stand up but she fell again weakly. The guy who was beside her sighed and held her hand to help her on her feet.

When she finally stood up, she was shocked to see Marino standing at her front.

"When did you....get here?" She gasped. She had definitely seen him going in. Hadn't she?

He smirked and removed a gun from the pocket of the guard standing beside him and shot the one who had helped her up, right in the forehead.

"Aarghh!!" Orchid screamed fearfully as blood splashed on her face.

Her breath seized as she stared at Marino, she had feared him. But now it was heightened, how could a man kill another without any remorse or fear of Karma?

"This happens to anyone who helps you, Orchid. You don't deserve it.... You don't deserve help. I think you'll rather just manage yourself than asking anyone for help.." He smiled at her and she choked on nothing.

He walked in and she followed timidly with her blood stained face and dress. The luxury dress had become a entirely different thing.

She walked into the house behind him. There was practically no one in the living room as she walked in. It looked so beautiful but she didn't have the courage to even look around or appreciate it's beauty. Her eyes were fixed on the ground as she was afraid to make a mistake that would earn her bullets in her skull.

As they got to the long and wide corridor, she saw the people, men and women standing at the front of each door. It was like it had been announced that the boss was coming in. They all bowed as he walked past them without a word and she just stared at them fearfully, even the ladies had a mean aura around them.

When they got to the last door, a lady bowed slightly before following them. Orchid stared at her, it was obvious the girl was so beautiful, she didn't even have the huge body of the others, instead she had a slim, slender body which she adorned with beautiful and expensive clothes.

The girl turned sharply and Orchid almost bumped into her.

"I'm sorry." She quickly said. The lady looked at her sinisterly before turning to him.

"Is this the girl, Marino?" She asked.

Marino? The evil looking demon name was Marino. It was such an innocent name for such a man. She thought. Marino smirked and turned to look at her.

"Innocent name?" He muttered and she looked up at him.

"What .. what do you mean....Master." She almost forgot to add the last part.

Marino smirked widely and turned around walking away. She was about to follow him when the other lady held her hand tightly.

"And where do you think you are going?" She asked loudly. Orchid wondered why she had to shout for her to hear.

"I thought...

"Don't think, baby. Marino is a vampire, he can hear your thoughts. It won't do you any good." The girl said.

Orchid gasped slowly as she heard that, how? So he heard her thought. Jeez!

"Why are you telling me all this?" She suddenly asked the girl and she smirked looking at Orchid.

"Hey, my name's Hellcat. I'll help you with whatever you need today but as from tomorrow, your life would be in your hands." Hellcat smiled.

"What do you mean by that?" Orchid asked.

"I don't like you, Orchid. I don't like anyone apart from Marino, your master. So enjoy it just for tonight." Hellcat smirked.

"You need to sleep. Sleep so well that you might not wake up. That will be an easier option than seeing the rays of the sun tomorrow." She replied and walked away, Orchid followed her slowly.

When they got to the mini sized room that looked no better than a prison, Hellcat pushed her in and said,

"Sleep tight."
