Chapter 5 TGF

~ LUNCH ~

Most of the students are done with the day's lecture, and they all seemed to be hungry as they gathered at the cafeteria.

Jae-kyung was with her twin sister (Ju-kyung) and her other two siblings (Jun-hee and Min-ho).

She already told Funke to pretend like they're strangers to each other, since Ju-kyung is now with her.

Funke who doesn't like the way things are happening, but she has no choice other than to accept.

The waiter brought her food to her where she was sitting at a table, which was just two tables away from the twins' table.

"Kamsanmitda (Thank you)." She said to the waiter. The waiter was already leaving when he heard her, and he turned back to look at her in surprise.

"Can you say that again??" He asked, and Funke furrowed her brows.

"Sorry??"

"I mean... you said something when I placed your food on the table before I turned to go." The waiter said.

"Yes." She replied.

"Can you please say that again??" He asked, and Funke smiled.

"Kamsanmitda." She repeated, and the guy's eyes grew wider as he stared at her in surprise.

"Woah! Impressive! I'm glad you understand our language. It's amazing!" He said in full smile.

Funke was about to say something when...

"Hey! Why are you still there?! Come and attend to these people. Harley and Ro Won are attending to others already!" A man shouted from the counter, and the guy rushed off without saying a word more to Funke.

Funke started eating her food, though her mind wasn't there.

She was stealing glances at Jae-kyung who in turn, was also doing same.

They were both praying and hoping that Ju-kyung leaves the place for something more important.

As God would have it, Ju-kyung got a call from her manager.

"Yeah Sherlock, what's it??" She asked the guy over the phone.

"Your attention is urgently needed at the modelling agency. They wants you here in few minutes." Sherlock's voice came over the phone, and Ju-kyung sighed.

"Okay. Thank you. I'll be there soon." She said.

"Alright... should I come and get you??" Sherlock asked.

"No, don't worry. That's Yeo-jun's job." She replied and hung up immediately.

"Guys, I'm sorry I have to leave you here. I need to be at the agency right now. See y'all later." She rushed her words and without waiting for any of them to talk, she carried her bag and rushed out of the cafeteria.

As if any of them would even persuade her not to go... not Jae-kyung who was praying for her absence.

Immediately she left, Funke carried her food tray and came to them.

"I missed you so badly." Jae-kyung said as she made a cute puppy face.

"You're acting like a lesbian." Min-ho said and Jun-hee nodded.

"I was about to say that." She added and Jae-kyung rolled her eyes.

"Your problems." She said and Funke chuckled.

"Let's focus on eating." Funke said as she dug into her rameon.

~ AFTER LUNCH ~

Jae-kyung left the school with Jun-hee and Min-ho. They got a call from their parents to come home, so they went there after having a super lunch with Funke.

Funke felt bored and decided to go to the school library to get some books to read. She was on her way back when she bumped into someone, and the books fell from her hands.

She was looking elsewhere precisely.

"Oops! I'm sorry." She muttered and bent down to pick up the books.

She didn't bother to look at the guy she bumped into, before she stood up and started walking away.

"TGF??" The guy called and she stopped walking as she turned back to see if he's actually calling her.

The moment her gaze landed on the guy, her lips curved into a smile.

"Oh! Davis Woods??" She called out his name while walking back to him.

The name he called her suddenly echoed in her ears, and she rolled her eyes side to side, trying to guess the meaning.

"You called me with an abbreviation just now." She said as she stood before Davis.

"Yeah... TGF." He smirked.

"What does that stands for if I may ask?" She asked, and Davis chuckled.

"The Great Fainter." He simply said as he had a mockery look on his face.

Funke frowned on hearing that, but nevertheless, she wave it off.

"Well I wasn't given a name like that, so call me by my name... Violet." She sneered and rolled her eyes, before walking away without hearing whatever response he would give.

Davis simply scoffed as he watched her walking away. His eyes following her every steps, and it went to her backside.

"Flat @ss... but nice hips she's got. Hot legs too." He smirked as he calculated her shape.

"Bud! What are you thinking?? Don't tell me she's your next target??" Daryl grinned as he stood behind Davis with Darren.

They were just coming back from the hockey pitch. Daryl and Darren loves playing hockey, while Davis would rather go to the music studio to sing.

Yeah, despite being a medical student, his best hobby is singing, and he's quite good.

"Her?? No. She's way too clumsy for my liking. And she's not my type." He replied and started walking away.

Daryl and Darren laughed as they jogged to catch up with him.

"Hey, why can't you date her??" Daryl asked. Davis looked at him with a raised brow.

"What do you mean??" He simply asked.

"I mean... she's pretty, rich, and your skin color matches. You're so compatible. Just go for her." Daryl said, as he really tried to keep the laughter he was holding in.

Darren laughed out as he also couldn't take it anymore.

Davis tried to pull Daryl and spank him but Daryl dodged him and he ran off with Darren.

"You two, just wait and watch how I deal with you for that stupid suggestion!" Davis shouted as he watched them running off.

"Gøsh! Those two are really driving me nuts." He muttered to himself as he turned back. He started heading towards the music studio again.
