Sunday

I do not get air.

"Bo...hey Bo wake up..." I wanted to wake him up as gently as I could, because it breaks my heart to wake him up. It just looks so cute. Alone how he opens his eyes and wags his tail right away...omg....so need...

If he kept lying on you your heart would eventually get squishy... so don't call me cute or cute...

Daisy sometimes you're really obnoxious. I shook my head and approached my closet.

I decide on gray sweatpants and a black top, which I put aside. I go to the bathroom and freshen up first.

Although I had planned to go into the forest, I was still a little tired from yesterday. Which is why I spend most of the morning on my bed.

Bo is no longer in my room. He's probably with Mom or Heather...

So here I am now. In the forest again. But this time I know the way. And I've also decided to memorize everything in the area here so that I don't get lost again and again.

I jogged for a while. So far it's going pretty well. I'm really proud of myself that nothing has happened to me so far. It's almost a miracle. Especially since Daisy didn't name a few of them for nothing. In fact, I'm really that clumsy and fell down while jogging because I tripped over something. Or I once sprained my ankle in physical education class, although I only ran a little faster.

And before I knew it, one of the things that Daisy loved so much happened.

A strange feeling spreads through me and it feels like I'm being watched.

I try not to let it show. But after 5 minutes it didn't get better, it got worse and I felt like I was being followed.

A few branches snapped behind me. But I didn't want to turn around...I was too scared for that.

It lasted a moment and then I got on my feet and ran as fast as I could. I was only a short distance away and then I had made it out of the forest.

I can't believe I made it!

Omg I got it somehow. I'm out of there.

YAY I'm out of breath now and almost panting, but it could have been worse.

I am so exhausted that I support myself with my hands on my knees.

"Hey Kate, what are you doing?" a female questioning voice sounds.

I know that voice!

I raise my head and see Kim and Jo.

"H-heee ." I knew I sounded like I was about to die. I was still pretty out of breath. I felt the heat in my body. My hair, which I had previously tied in a tight ponytail, was now very loose and some strands were already sticking to my face. I probably look like something else, but I'm just glad I made it out of the woods unscathed.

The two look at me worried. Then they look at each other and exchange mysterious looks again.

When I felt like I was under control again after what felt like 10 years, I tried to improve the situation a bit.

Since the two had been silent for some time and there was a strange stillness in the air.

"But v-maybe I was just imagining it. I mean, there's a good chance I'm just being paranoid..." I joked, laughing here and there to lighten the situation.

"Well, as long as nothing happened to you..." Jo started and stopped when she took her mobile phone out of her trouser pocket. Her gaze suddenly becomes strange.

She looks over at Kim. Back to me. to her again.

"Um Kate? Kim and I have to go somewhere... But it was nice to see you again. And I'm glad nothing happened to you..." she looks at me apologetically.

"Okayyy. Yes, I was happy too. See you tomorrow. I would love to hug you, but unfortunately I'm wet from the whole race hahahah... just feel pressed by me haha." I explained to the two and we laughed briefly until we parted ways.

I just want to take a shower right now...it's all I can think about...

I spent the rest of the evening preparing for tomorrow. As I snuggled into my bed, I noticed Bo making himself comfortable next to me. I stroked him, wished him good night and then fell into a peaceful sleep by my standards.

"Jo, isn't that Kate? Up front? Who looks like she just ran a marathon?" I ask my best friend.

"Oh jeeeh you're right..." it comes from her.

I could tell she was worried.

"Let's not paint the devil on the wall... maybe things aren't so bad and she's just unsportsmanlike," I try to calm her down. Yes...no...that backfired.

I got a dirty look from her. If I had to interpret it, it would say something like Are you-fucking-serious?!!!

I just shrug.

We approach Kate, who is still leaning on her knees with her hands.

"Hey Kate what are you doing?" Jo wants to know worried. She sounds neutral to others, but I know she's concerned.

We only met Kate yesterday but there's something about her...

I can't blame Jo for caring about Kate. If I take a closer look at her, she looks really done. Hope nothing bad happened to her.

Kate is pretty out of breath. She ran for her life earlier. The poor. I really feel sorry for her. She just came here yesterday and then this!

Her feeling was right because someone had probably been following her.

Jo and I looked at each other. Not only is she worried, so am I.

You can't just go after a defenseless girl! She's really pretty and she radiates something indefinable, but she doesn't deserve that...

These stupid idiots just can't control themselves! That pisses me off! Those wretched perverts! God I'm already at 180!!!

Jo probably notices how my pulse quickens, because her look looks slightly panicked.

Now Jo looks at me with an omg-thank-god-you-have-calmed look.

I just sighed and turned my gaze to Kate. She's calmed down a bit now. Her cheeks are still slightly red. And her braid is already very loose, some of her long brown strands falling in her face. She still looks pretty battered.

She was probably sorry Kate had to go through that. Jo probably wanted to tell her that she was sorry about all this and that she could contact us at any time if anything happened... I thought so too, but it's not a good idea.

We can't reveal to her directly that we know what kind of idiots there were in the forest and that we also belong to it...

We all laughed for a moment before we parted ways.

We stand there for a moment and wait while she continues to walk the road until she turns off at some point.

"Yeah, what's going on? Where do we have to go? Please don't tell me..." I started.

I didn't want to say what I was thinking. Luckily I didn't have to, because Jo shook her head.

"Don't worry it wasn't him..." She stopped and sighed. "Not him....but Kyle...you're not thrilled with what's been going on around here lately...and want us to take care of it." she finished her sentence. And points her head in the direction of the forest.

"That's perfect Jo. You have no idea how much I want to kick their ass! We're all excited about what's to come... but I just don't get how some people lose control like that... I mean Hallooo how horny you must be that they're stalking Kate in broad daylight! Or yesterday!!! We were there and if we hadn't been there they would have done something else to her Grrrr!!!"

I was in my element now and noticed my eyes light up.

"I believe you immediately Kim.

I mean they not only attacked the innocent Kate, but also Bo!! An innocent dog!!! Is it still okay?! I feel the same way, they should just pay for the fact that they behaved so disrespectfully!!!
