"PLEASE, Kzea. I only want you, I only trust you."

I looked away while mentally processing what my brother was asking.

She wants me to be the surrogate mother of her child!

He's been married for a long time and he and his wife can't have a child because his mother has a disability, so now he wants to use me to have a child.

"Why don't you adopt, Sister?" I suggest.

He took a deep breath while holding my hands, "Kzea, I don't want to. Lavriel doesn't want either. He wants it.. His own. He really wants his son. Please, Kzea. Agree to that. She has dreamed of having a child for a long time, something I can't give her," Her eyes closed with water. "Please, Kzea. I just asked you for a favor, grant it to me."

"Sister," I shook my head, still not agreeing with what he wanted. "If your husband loves you, even if you don't have children, he will be satisfied. He will accept that you cannot give him what he wants, he will accept it for you."

"Kzea!" He started crying so I was confused, he was really persistent. "He accepted it! But even so, I feel pain for him. I love him very much, I want to give him his only dream and I can only give it to you with your help, please, Kzea." there is a pleading in his eyes.

Instead of answering, I just hugged him. He is not my real brother because I am just an adopted child, he is very kind to me and never made me feel like I am someone else.

He only asked for this now, so what other choice do I have? His parents, whom I considered to be his parents, died due to an unexpected accident just a few months ago. He is my only relative. I can't see him hurt.

I agreed to what he wanted.

at first, I really didn't like that idea, I just felt that something bad would happen when I entered their married life.

And I wasn't wrong. The first time I saw Ate Caia's husband, the surroundings seemed to be in slow motion. I felt a strange feeling when our eyes met. I only felt nervous about him. I want to always see him and be with him.

He is kind, handsome, well built, smart and rich. He and Caia are perfect. but every time I think about that, I feel annoyed and angry. Every time I see the way he looks at Caia, jealousy swallows me.

I avoided it several times. I stopped several times.

But not really, the longer I spend with him, the more I fall. I've never felt this with a man, only with him.

"What's happening here?"

I was brought back to reality when Ate Caia held my arm and stroked my hair. Lavriel's angry face suddenly softened when he turned to Caia.

I want to see him like that too.

"Nothing, wife." He sweetly answered to her made my heart clench.

"Really?" Caia didn't seem to agree when she turned to me. "Have you been here before? You didn't say you were coming here? I thought you're still in the hospital?"

He asked one question after another. I tried to smile and stared at Lavriel for a moment before answering.

"It's Lavriel, our baby needs him." I replied meaningfully.
