Chapter 5 No. 5

Sitting on the sofa in his office, Raymond has his leg on top of the other one. He was been waiting for Valerie's call for a long time now. He thought he was going to see her call when he woke up in the morning but he didn't.

Maybe she had a change of mind was the only thing Raymond could fathom in his mind. But if she does , she should have tell him so that he would stop thinking about that and concentrate on his work. He has a meeting to attend to and after that, there's a Business partner's birthday he has to go.

But he hasn't done anything about it. Valerie must go with him to that party as stipulated in the contract. She has to go everywhere with him to make people think they were real couple.

" What's taking this girl long?" Raymond hissed. He Decided to call her to hear what she was planning about the contract. If she's going to cancel it, Then she has to pay him the damages for canceling the contract which was supposed to last for Just there months.

But as he was about to dial her number, The door to his office opened and Valerie, dressed in a black mini gown stepped inside the office with smiles all over her face. She was holding a shell structured mini black pouch that matched the black sparkling t-straps heel in her shoe.

Raymond stood on his feet, that girl was so pretty. Her long shining black hair rested on her shoulders and her back. Raymond blinked his eyes , coming back to his senses when she spoke.

" Hi Mr. Raymond" Valerie waved with a smile. Raymond didn't know she was standing just two steps away from him because he was so lost in thought Staring at her when she entered the office. " You are late" Raymond turned his back on her and sat down on the sofa.

That was the only thing that came in to his mind to say. He didn't even know what he was going to say to her.

" Really? Won't you ask me why I am here?" She Sneered. Raymond looked at her and Scoffed. " I know you are here to Cancel the contract and refund me as you said yesterday" Valerie nodded her head. That was her plan yesterday before Gerald called.

But She was so glad that Gerald called her and let her know Raymond is his Brother. The game was just about to end but Gerald poured fuel in to it again and it would now get interesting.

" Yes" Valerie sat on the sofa and crossed her leg. " So why are you dressed this way? You should have brought back all the things I bought you to act as my fake Girlfriend" He said and Valerie giggled.

On the same day that Valerie signed the contract, Raymond took her for shopping. He made sure he bought all the Latest and the most expensive things ranging from Bags, purses, shoes, and all kind of ladies dresses. His girlfriend has to look rich in the public.

" I've had a change of mind" She lifted up a brow with a smile still on her face. " I thought about it yesterday before I sleep and I decided to go on with the contract. After all, it's just three months" Raymond was happy with that but he didn't show it on his face less , the girl would take him for granted.

" I want to help you achieve whatever it is that you want to achieve which led you to look for a fake Girlfriend" Valerie went on as Raymond listened attentively to her. " So, we are back in the game. But I have my own rules"

" Go on" Raymond said. " First, You won't talk to me the way you want, you'll always use sweet words whenever we are with people. But if you break the rules, I'll back out" She threatened. " Like seriously? Sweet words?" Raymond chuckled.

" Valerie, I am warning you now. Don't fall in love with me at the end..." She interrupted him. " That's My second rule" She said and Raymond dropped his leg on the floor. " Second rule, you should never fall in love with me because I won't even do that." He scoffed.

" Is your heart made of stone?" She hissed. " You can call it whatever you want but, I don't fall in love no matter how sweet or Good the guy is" She clicked her tongue. " I wasn't Mistaken when I said you are a stone heart. Wow!" He clapped his hands.

" Thirdly, You'll Always do what I like and you won't complain whenever I do something you don't like" Raymond was already getting fed up with her gibberish talks. Those rules were nothing to him, he could do them without having any problem because he was the one that needed her.

" That's fine. Is that all the rules?" Valerie nodded her head. " That's great. You already know mine so, there's no need going through it again" He extended his hand for a handshake but she smirked and stood up. " Nothing of such will happen when we are alone" She said, ignoring his hand.

" This is a Business Handshake, don't be Mistaken" Raymond said and she rolled her eyes. " Not interested" Valerie walked towards the desk and sat down on top of the desk. " Where are we going today?" She asked him. Raymond checked the watch on his wrist and then looked at her.

" We are going to a Business party Later in the day. Why don't you go around the Company to check things out? I'm going in for a meeting now" He said. " Alright, see you later" She got down from the desk and left the office with a mischievous grin.
