Chapter 4 No. 4

Next morning, Valerie was awoken by a loud knock on her door. She get up, yawned and stretched her arms before going down the bed. She already knew the monster who was trying to break down her door. And as soon as she unbolted it, Kia staggered on her and they both fell on the floor.

" Ouch Kia!" Valerie pushed her off her. " You are so heavy, girl. Why would you lean on the door" Valerie stood up from the floor holding her waist. " You should have told me you want to open the door. I think I sprained my Ankle" She stood on one leg while the other one , she held it.

Valerie started laughing and she closed the door. She looked at Kia who was acting funny and her laugh increased.

" And you think this is funny?" Kia frowned. " Did I ask you to lean on the door? You , door Monster" Valerie laughed on her face. " But I was just trying to call you. It is My fault for visiting you this Early" Kia limped to the couch and sat down.

" This serves you right. I know you are here to hear the rest of the gist from yesterday" Kia rolled her eyes. " Kia, No need for that. I already know you. But don't worry, There are lot of things you need to know" Valerie smiled. That mischievous smile, Kia already know it.

Valerie only smiled that way whenever there was something important she wanted to tell Kia. Kia's face lit up and she scurried to where Valerie was. " Tell me already" She said eagerly. " What about your foot? You were pretending?" Valerie was surprised with the speed Kia scurried to her side with.

" Forget about that, just tell me already" Kia shifted back and waved off the air on her face. " Girl, Your mouth stink. You haven't brush your teeth. Eww" Kia squeezed her face making Valerie laughed out loud.

Valerie went inside the bathroom, brushes her teeth, washed her face and came out cleaning her face with a clean white towel. She went directly inside her mini kitchen but found Kia already making waffles for her.

" Whoa!" Valerie Exclaimed. That was so Unlike Kia, she doesn't like entering the kitchen as there are servants in their house always waiting for her command. " Kia?" Valerie lifted a brow. " Don't be surprised, Babe. I have to start treating you like a Queen because you are now the Walter's new Princess" She giggled.

" Kia, You just want me to hurry up with what am doing and give you the remaining gist, right?" Kia laughed shortly. " You caught me" Valerie chuckled. " I knew it.

When Kia was done with what she was doing, they ate together. It wasn't that good but trust Valerie, she complemented her and told her it was delicious. She doesn't want her friend to feel bad for trying to cook.

" As I was saying yesterday" Kia stood up from where she was sitting and sat beside Valerie. " A day before yesterday, I told you I want going to find a work , right?" Kia nodded her head. " So, when I went in to the Walter's Conglomerate, I missed my way and bumped in to him on the hall way"

" Wow! What a lovely moment that would be" Valerie scoffed. " Would you Listen to me or not" Kia apologized to her. " That guy fixed his eyes in mine for two minutes before looking away. And then, he told me to follow him in to his office. That was when he told me to be his girlfriend for three months and then gave me a paper to sign"

" Wait a sec, His girlfriend for three months? I thought..." Valerie Scoffed. " No, just for three months" She rolled her eyes. " So you mean I'm Happy for nothing? Oh come on. This isn't what I want" She drew out her mouth. " You haven't heard everything" Kia's face brightened up after Valerie said that.

" Gerald called. You know Gerald right, My ex boyfriend that I told you about" She nodded her head. " The one your step sister is dating now? I know" Valerie chuckled. " He called me yesterday after I returned back from the party" Kia's eyes widened .

" Are you serious right now? Tell me he saw the news" Valerie smiled. " He did saw the new that was why he called me. Do you know what he said?" She burst in to an explosive laugh. " He begged you to take him back I guess" Kia raised a brow. " No, He told me to stay away from Raymond"

" Why?" Kia was surprised. " Because Raymond is his older Brother. Raymond Walter and Gerald Walter" She chuckled. " What da! He's is Brother? Oh my God!" Kia covered her mouth. " What are you going to do now" Kia asked her.

" Yesterday, I thought of canceling the contract but after getting the call from Gerald, I changed my mind" Valerie grinned. " What are you going to do?" She asked Worriedly. " I'm going to make Gerald jealous. I won't cancel the contract again. I'm going to teach him a lesson for breaking up with me" Kia laughed.

" That's my girl. I thought you will give up. Look at me, girl. Do not try to fall in love with Raymond because he's going to break your heart too in the future, it's in their Blood" Valerie laughed. " Come on Kia, I only accepted the contract because of Money. But you already know my heart will never fall in love again"

" Who knows, Your stone heart might get soft by Raymond" Valerie hissed. " Stop saying that. Won't you go to the Gym today?" She stood up from the couch. " Nope, Mummy isn't around . So, no going to gym for a week until she returns" She said happily.
