Chapter 5 5

CHAPTER FIVE

Clarabelle arrived on time for her job at the bar later that evening.

Jenna had a satisfied smile on her face when she saw her.

Clarabelle glared hate fully at Jenna. Everything that happened is her fault! She is the one who forced her to go in there even though she didn't want to go! She isn't going to forgive Jenna for this!

Jenna noticed Clarabelle's look. She pulled her hand and took her to a corner.

"Thanks for the good work last night Clarabelle. They said that they were really satisfied. I told you that you will be compensated as long as you did what you were told right? I was told that you left with the Alpha yesterday. What happened?" Jenna asked. There was a twinkling in her eyes and Clarabelle would be damned if she didn't recognize that look by now.

Clarabelle thought of the warning that the Alpha gave her this morning. He said that she had better not let anyone find out that they spend the night together she didn't doubt that he will make things difficult for her if she went against what he said. She didn't have the power to fight against the Alpha. She's just a poor she-wolf. She chose to keep her mouth shut for her safety.

"Nothing happened between the Alpha and I. He let me go home after he took me out" she lied.

Jenna sneered. "Do you think that I will believe that lie?! How can he just let you go home?" Jenna asked.

Clarabelle shrugged. "You can believe whatever you what but I don't see why I should lie about this to you. He told me to go home. That's all that happened" Clarabelle said.

Jenna gave Clarabelle a long stare and then she decided to buy her story when she saw that she won't be getting anything more out of her.

"Fine. But do you know if you'll be meeting him again? Did he show any interest in you at all?" Jenna asked.

Clarabelle rolled her eyes and laughed. "Interest in me? I am just a poor she-wolf while he is the Alpha! Why will he want to see me again?" She asked.

"Well, you do make sense. Thank you for the good work last night " Jenna said.

Clarabelle frowned at the reminder of that. "I thought you told me that I won't be doing anything that I didn't want?" Clarabelle asked Jenna.

"Of course! Were you forced?" She asked.

"They made me drink with them even when I didn't want to!" And then that led her to sleep with the Alpha when her sober self won't have ever done that!

"But it didn't get any worse than that! You should be grateful that you got away so easily! Anyway, here's the compensation that I told you about!" Jenna said.

She shoved some money into Clarabelle's hand. Clarabelle wanted to throw the money at her and tell her to go fuck herself but she held back. She needs the money.

And alright her pride wanted to throw the money away, she knew that she won't eat her pride. She needs to earn a living and any extra income will be appreciated.

She just has to be careful so she won't be tricked into this again.

A week later.

Clarabelle was working at the bar as usual. She was serving people while putting up with some really rude customers.

She had noticed that the other waiters liked to send her to rude customers that none of them can stand. Clarabelle didn't mind this though. As long as she can earn a living, she didn't mind serving the rudest wolf in the pack.

"Hey Clarabelle, there's a couple at table 9. They are requesting a new waiter. Perhaps, you should go over there?" Someone asked her.

Clarabelle nodded her head. "Requesting a new waiter" was code for, a customer being difficult and Clarabelle is the one who has been chosen to deal with it.

She walked over to the table and her greatest surprise she saw that it was the Alpha that she had spent a night with a week ago.

Her eyes widened in shock as she saw him. He saw her too but he just glanced at her and looked away from her, as if he could not remember that he slept with her.

"What the heck are you looking at? You've never seen the Alpha before?! Don't you think that you should serve us before you start drooling over my boyfriend?"

It was then that Clarabelle noticed that there was a she-wolf with Alpha Asher.

Clarabelle focused on her eyes. She looked really beautiful. But there was a malicious look on her face that just made her look twisted.

And did she just say, boyfriend? The Alpha is her boyfriend?!

Clarabelle sneered inside her heart. Of course. The Alpha is a big jerk who not only kicks her out after he had slept with her but also cheats on his girlfriend without any care for the consequences! There can't be anyone who is as horrible as he is!

, "Right. I am sorry ma'am. What do you want me to get for you?" Clarabelle asked.

Besides drinks, the bar also served food so that customers could eat when they get tired of drinking.

The she wolf rattled off a list to Clarabelle and she went off to serve it.

Alpha Asher watched as Clarabella walked away. He didn't know what he was doing here.

He should have just avoided this place since he knows that she works here but ...

"What the heck are you looking at Asher?! I am here! Your girlfriend is here in front of you and you are acting as if you can't see her at all! What is this?"

"Isabella, I think that you're just overreacting. Calm down!" Alpha Asher said.

He was getting tired of her.

"Calm down?! How can I calm down when you're treating me this way? Do you even love me at all?" She asked him.

"You know what Isabella? I am sick and tired of this. I don't! I want to break up with you"
