Chapter 5 Rose pov

"Welcome sir, they're in the dinning room waiting for you"

One of the staff said to mike immediately he walked in

"Oh thanks"

He replied and went into the dinning room, dinner was already served and they were all sitted. His dad, stepmom, stepbrother and his stepsister dining and eating without waiting for him.

"Oh mike you are here ?"

His stepmom said as soon as he saw him

"I am"

He replied calmly. He never want to be in this gathering, but had no choice than to come. This family wasn't the family he grew up to know after his mom died in an accident his father drastically changed and this strange woman came in with a boy two years older than him claiming to be his brother and his dad Bastard son. Things happened so fast that he drafted away from his family slowly.

"Why are you coming by this time ? Did Dave tell you the time for dinner ?"

His father asked frowning

"It didn't stop you guys from dinning without me, I don't think you were expecting me because you already start eating without me aren't you?"

He responded and his father anger doubled.

"You dare talk to me like in this manner"

His father yelled

"My dear, please let him at least take his sit before you tell at him. He might be busy with work that why he is late. Just let him be"

She said to her husband and he immediately calm down, she truned to mike and spoke

"Please sit down, your food will be served immediately"

He sat down and immediately his food was served.

"I see she knows how to control your temper."

Mike said to his father sarcastically

"You heard your brother is back from Paris and you couldn't bring a gift or flower to welcome him back"

His father replied ignoring his statement totally

"I stayed in Germany for over five years when I came back not even a family dinner was held to welcome me. I didn't know we give warm welcomes now"

He responded and Jackson his stepbrother scoffed

"I don't need your gift, am happy to see you doing well and your present here is enough for me"

He responded with a fake smile.

"So why are you back to early? Don't tell me you were deported or caught doing drugs ?"

Mike asked laughing

"I asked him to come back"

His father replied and Mike looked at him suspiciously

"You did ? Why ? Do you miss him that much ?"

He threw different questions to his father

"I think it high time he take his rightfully place as my first son"

His dad said

"What are talking about?"

He asked as suspense grew deeper

"I want him to take over Digital textile producing industry"

He dad said finally dropping the bomb shell and Mike brust into laughter

"You can't do that, you have no right whatsoever in that company best it mine. It was will to me by mom, that my mom's company and no of you have the right to that company if that the reason you called me here just forget about it. I would never let you take away that company from me never !"

He said ranging his anger on them.

"Jackson is my first son and needs to be in control of everything that belongs to this family. He his already the executive director of my company who are the biggest sponsor of your company so giving him the power of the two companies and you are going to be his second in command"

His father tried to explain to him but he was completely adamant.

"There is no way in hell I would let this bastard take over my mother's company. Father they have taken everything away from me and you still aim for the one thing that gives me joy ? I won't let it happen"

He fired back

"You better mind your words mike, I won't let you call me names"

Jackson warned and scoffed

"You all can bring a whole army but I swear I won't let you take one thing my mother loved away from me"

He said and stepped out immediately.
