Chapter 4 Rose Pov

Rose stepped out of her car with her personal assistant right behind her she walked into the company.

"We have a meeting with Mike cilton the CEO this company, let him know we are here please"

Her personal assistant said to the receptionist.

"May I know your name please?"

She asked politely

"Rose Charles the CEO of flower fashion"

The p.a replied her and she made a call.

"You may go In, Take the elevator to the second floor. The third room by the left is where the meeting is going to be held"

The receptionist directed them.

"Thank you"

Her p.a replied and went in the direction they have been directed. When they got the room there was some one waiting for them there.

"Please have your sit, they will be here shortly"

The man said and left them to settle down. Few minutes later Mike with Dave behind him walked in the room where rose and her personal assistant where waiting. Immediately mine saw are he was dumbstruck and at the same time surprised.

"You are rose ?"

He asked surprised like had seen a ghost.

"Yes I am, and you must be the CEO"

She replied calmly and extended her hand for an handshake but to her surprise pulled her closer and hug her. Rose was awestruck at his sudden action and was a displeased but tried her best to hide her feelings.

"Oh my gosh! Have been looking for you all this while, why do you suddenly leave that day I woke up and didn't find you. I went to the bar almost every day but you didn't come back. I thought I lost you rose."

He said truly touched

"Am sorry but I think you're mistaking I haven't meet you before"

She replied politely and the mike frowned

"What do you mean you haven't meet me before? Are you a twin or something?"

He asked laughing

"Sir mike I would appreciate if we go down to business and stop whatever joke this is"

She replied and his frowned deepened

"Maybe we should all settle down and discuss about work"

Dave said and moved mike aside and whispered into his ears.

"Compose yourself mike we are here for a business deal"

He whispered to him

"But she is the one have been looking for"

He complained

"I know let just settle the deal"

He advised and Mike sighted

"Fine !"

Mike replied and they moved to where rose and her personal assistant was sitting.

"Am sorry for what just happened there might be a little bit of confusion here, we settle that misunderstanding later. But now let go to the contract signing. She we?"

Dave said and brought out two copies of the agreement, he passed one to Rose personal assistant who gave Rose and he also gave the other copy to mike. The both signed the two copies and each party took a copy each.

"Thanks for your cooperation, I hope we work together and be successful"

Dave said extended his hand to shake her. For some reason which clearly because of the incident with Mike it took a while before she brought her hand to shake him.

"I will take my leave now"

She said and was about to leave but Mike stopped her. He was still restless and unsure of the reason she totally ignored him and pretend not to know who he was.

"Rose please can I have a few minutes of your time ?"

He asked politely this time around

"Okay fine"

She said and immediately Dave and rose p.a left the room leaving them alone.

"I apologize for my behave earlier"

He responded and she smiled

"That no problem"

She simply replied with a smile

"I hope you can give me the chance to meet with you privately to discuss about this"

At this point mike was ready to get to the root of what was going on and why she was pretending not to know him.

"Sure I think we have so much to talk about. This is my business card give me a call when you are ready to explain things to me"

She replied and gave him her business card, she left him standing speechless. As soon as she left Dave entered inside to meet mike. He could see the confusion in his eye.

"What did she say ? Is she the one you have been looking for?"

Dave questioned

"We are meeting up soon, but don't understand why she ignored me like that. Am confused about everything, was she trying to play ticks on me or something ? For this past days have been looking for her only to find her and she behaves this way ? I just don't know Dave"

Mike stated confused

"You need to calm down since you are going to meet up with her okay ? You both will settle things out. But I still can't believe she is the CEO or flower fashion"

Dave replied

"Tell me what next on my schedule, need to get my mind of her"

He asked

"The meeting with the broad,and you have dinner with your family. You dad said it a must you attend the dinner. Your stepbrother just arrived from the Paris I think they're celebrating his return"

Dave respond and he frowned.

"Why his he back ? This isn't uplifting at all"

He hissed and walked out Dave following behind immediately.

Rose and her personal assistant sat comfortably on the back seat of the car as they drove back to there office.

"Are you sure that man we meet at the company was really the CEO ?"

Rose asked her p.a she was still thinking about what had happened. She could swear she hasn't seen that man before in her life and was confused by his words and actions. The look his eye where of those who found his lost love, the way he hugged her gave her comfort even though it was just for dose brief minutes and wished it was longer than that, but she wondered why she felt that way he was just a stranger but she felt connected to him somehow.

"Yes he his mike cilton. I guess he mistaked you for your twin sister, she looks exactly like you or do you know him?"

Her personal assistant replied.

"I guess I will know him more"

She replied smiling.
