Chapter 9 9

Amelia's Perspective

So Zara looked at me and said you'd have to take over from here since, we dont know you yet as she smiled while holding the straw in her smoothie.

"Alright love", i stated.

You ask a question and everyone answers it. Questions are asked by turns: You, me and your dad.

"Favourite fruit. Mine is mango."- said Zara, beaming with merriness.

"Pineapple."- I answered with a smile.

"Mine too."- replied warmly Richard, smiling charmingly at me.

"Favourite season. I like spring."- I said contentedly.

"Summer."- chirped happily little girl, leaning back in the arm chair.

"Maybe autumn."- answered Richard calmly, trailing his eyes along my face with such heartwarming look in them, making me blush at what he smiled brighter.

"Favourite breakfast. Waffles."- he stated warmly and I smiled more.

"Banana pancakes with blueberries."- replied Zara, sitting next to me as we were in front of her dad.

"Waffles with strawberries on the side."- I said softly, noting how many things in common I have with him.

"Favourite princess. I really like Cinderella."- said Zara, glancing at me with twinkles in her gorgeous eyes.

"You look like Cinderella."- she said cutely, examining my appearance.

"Do I?"- I wondered, not really remembering what she looks like.

"You have such big, bright green eyes and blonde, long hair. You also are slim and petite, can dance so beautifully and have a pretty face like cinderella."- stated Zara, making me giggle.

Richard's Perspective

Never thought that talking about princesses would be that wholesome to me, but it is. The sight is priceless.

My beautiful daughter is happy and so relaxed, chatting with a gorgeous woman, who has my heart without even realising it. They are smiling, giggling and chatting.

I actually see this evening repeating over and over again, but with Amelia being my wife, that would be a dream come true. I caught myself wanting to make her mine more than ever.

After some time the waiter brought the order. He set everything on the table and I didn't miss his eyes attaching to Amelia in ways they shouldn't.

Jealousy, possessiveness, territoriality, and greed washed over me, making me clench my jaw. She is mine and I am the only one, who will touch her, caress every inch of her perfect body, watch her melt from pleasure that I give her, and kiss her luscious lips. I am the one, whom she will hold closely to herself as I make her wildest fantasies come true. Others can forget about their chances. She is mine and only mine.

My blood boiled as I saw him slip a piece of paper with a phone number on it underneath her glass before leaving; his number no doubt. I took the paper and crumpled it, knowing damn well that he can get nothing, except a black eye, for making a move on my woman.

"Biscuits."- sighed contentedly my little girl before biting into the treat, looking so winsome.

We drank smoothies, chatting so pleasantly, carrying on with the game. Amelia and I have numerous things in common and it only made me want her more: mutual favourite books, movies, desserts, type of weather, hobbies, animals and other things. Zara and her fit like a glove and it made her even happier.

After that, we went for another brisk walk since my hyper daughter had a lot of energy to spend. Amelia and I chatted sublimely as my daughter ran around, being in our sight at all times. After a while she, came to us, climbing in my arms.

"Bed time?"- I asked her warmly, kissing her cheek, and she shook her head, snuggling into me.

She nestled in my arms snugly and I gladly carried her as we strolled some more. In matter of minutes Zara fell asleep, being my cute sleepy panda.

Alas, it was time to call it a night.

I insisted on dropping Amelia off since it is chilly, not to mention dark. Her health and safety matter to me a lot. Moreover, it is another bonus 10 minutes in her presence. I will take what I can for now.

Amelia's Perspective

In some 15 minutes we arrived. Richard walked me to the main doors, holding my hand so gently, yet securely.

"I had a great time with you."- he said warmly, smiling at me, giving my heart a reason to flutter.

"I had a blast too."- I spoke softly, blushing.

He took a step closer to me, shutting space between us little by little, until our faces were inch apart.

Rock-hard, robust, tall body pressed against my small one. Spicy, warm, tantalising, mouth-watering fragrance surrounded me. My head tilted far backwards due to our height difference, eyes locked on caramel-brown ones. He is sinfully handsome, too perfect to be true.

"Will you go on a date with me, Amelia? Tomorrow at 6 o'clock."- asked Richard, trailing his alluring gaze along my face, his minty breath blowing in my face.

My heart fluttered as his large, veiny, inked, soft hand cupped my cheek. His thumb gently caressing it, making me shut my eyes.

"I-it's not right."- I almost whispered, my heart shrinking

"Why? Did I do something wrong?"- Richard asked in concern , holding my hand gently, caressing my cheek so tenderly.

"No, you did everything perfectly."- I said, glancing away, horrified to think that I might be ruining someone's family.

"What is it then?"- he asked warmly, guiding me to look him in the eyes.

"I don't want to be a home wrecker."- I almost whispered and he smiled at me.

"I am single, Amelia. I am not in any type of relationship."- said Richard calmly, caressing my cheek lightly.

My heart skipped a beat at his words and soared in relief and joy at the same time.

"So, does this mean yes?"- he wondered, smiling charmingly at me, making me blush.

"Yes."- I replied, feeling butterflies erupt in me.

"I am looking forward to seeing you, Amelia."- spoke Richard warmly , closing space between our face.

"You look stunning."- he whispered in my ear, kissing my cheek, sending shivers down my spine.

He kissed my hand softly, winking at me, before approaching his black Mercedes, leaving me speechless, blushing, weak in my knees.

I began replaying the moments and feeling over the moon. I entered my penthouse, booming in joy as i headed to the bathroom to get my night shower and settle for bed. Dreams about those pair of caramel-brown eyes indulged me, leaving me giddy and happier than ever.
