Chapter 6 6

"Good job, Zara," I praised, impressed by her poise in the first class. After guiding everyone through stretches, I instructed them to form permanent pairs. Offering my hand to Zara, I became her partner. After finishing the class, I commended their efforts and assigned stretching homework. The joy of their hugs affirmed my love for what I do. Despite forgetting my phone, I rushed to my office, changed my shoes, and assured Valerie I'd return shortly.

Richard's Perspective.

I held my daughter's hand, pleased with her excitement about the ballet class and Miss James as her partner. Closing the car door, I spotted Miss James, stunning as always, causing my heart to race. Despite the intense desire, a phone call interrupted my thoughts. I answered my mother while stealing glances at Miss James, and Zara shared her ballet class experience. After confirming dinner plans, I hung up and helped Zara out of the car. Inside, she asked to be carried, and we chatted while heading to my office. Offering her a snack, she requested almonds, and I texted my assistant for the treat. As she enjoyed her snack, I finished work and took her to Harrods for dessert or wine shopping.

In the sweets department, I couldn't help but admire Miss James' captivating appearance and smiled at our shared love for Smarties and Snickers.

Amelia's Perspective:

"Good evening, Miss James," chirped a familiar and precious voice, drawing my attention. "Good evening, Zara," I warmly replied with a smile.

"Good evening, Mr. Dixon," I spoke softly, momentarily losing focus as I glanced into his caramel-brown eyes.

"Please, call me Richard," he said calmly, smiling in a charming manner that sent butterflies fluttering. His smile was captivating, the kind that leaves you speechless and spellbound, adorned with beautiful, deep dimples.

"Call me Amelia, please," I spoke softly, returning the smile.

Just like that, we shopped together, the atmosphere natural, comfortable, nice, and soothing. The smiles, laughter, jokes, and conversations all felt unbelievably pleasant, creating a level of coziness that seemed almost surreal.

"Thank you, Richard," I said softly, smiling, as he placed the bag of groceries in the bonnet of my white Porsche. He insisted on carrying the bag, showcasing his sublime gentlemanly demeanor.

"My pleasure, Amelia," he replied warmly, causing my heart to skip a beat as my name rolled off his tongue so succulently.

"I hope to see you soon," he said fruitily, gazing into my eyes, and his genuine words stirred butterflies within me.

"The feeling is mutual," I responded with a profound smile, mirrored by him. Saying goodbye to Zara, who was even more ecstatic, I took the driver's seat and buckled up, biting my lip to contain the overwhelming contentment. It's a unique and immensely pleasant delight, unlike anything I've experienced before.

After 30 minutes, I arrived home and started unpacking groceries, including an assortment of fruits, veggies, berries, coconut yogurt, Greek yogurt, eggs, almond and oat milk, chia, hazelnuts, almonds, bulgur, pasta, salmon, chicken breast. I also treated myself to Smarties and Snickers. As a ballerina, I don't adhere to the stereotype of being overly thin; my focus is on a nutritious diet to support my demanding exercise routine, burning up to 2 thousand calories daily.

For dinner, I made a chicken salad, enjoying it on the island while distracting myself from loneliness with art news. After cleaning up, I indulged in a bubble bath, following a skincare routine for a dewy complexion. Dressed in light pink, sheer undergarments, and a matching silk nightgown, I settled into bed, sighing softly. I delved into the novel I started three days ago, intending to finish it tonight.

Richard's Perspective

Amelia - sophisticated, beautiful, delicate name suits her flawlessly. The sweetest, the most adorable giggles are my favorite tune now. The way my name rolled off her tongue in that mellifluous, sensual, angelic voice of hers is sinfully pleasant. The way she smiled at me so dazzlingly was beyond sublime. The way she interacted with Zara, who was brimming with happiness and fascination, was exceedingly heartwarming.

She is one of a kind and I want to call her mine more than anything.

As we arrived at my parents' mansion, I parked in front of it. I helped Zara out of the car and picked her small self up in my arms as she snuggled into me, holding her unicorn. I took the bag with the dessert and red wine from the bonnet before heading inside.

"Granny! Grandpa!"- chirped sweet Zara, dashing to them as I set her on her feet.

"Hello there, little lady."- replied Dad cheerily, picking her up.

"We got cheesecake with strawberry jam."- she said happily, making me smile at her preciousness.

"That sounds delicious, pumpkin."- stated Mum, kissing her cheek, as my girl smiled brightly.

I helped her to take off her coat and shoes before she went to wash her hands. Then I did the same.

"She is the cutest little bean."- chuckled Dad as we went to the dining room.

"That she is."- I replied contentedly, chuckling when I felt little someone cling to my right leg, giggling winsomely.

"Come here, sweetheart."- I said warmly, picking her up, and kissed her forehead, smiling when she hugged me tightly, nuzzling into me.

I helped her to the seat and sat down next to her as mum and Dad sat in front of us. The dinner passed by nicely, we had wonderful talks and a good laugh. After dinner, Zara took her grandmother to play hide and seek while Dad and I chatted in the living room.

"You look different, son."- he said warmly, watching me attentively, and I smiled, drinking a glass of water.

"Happier, dreamier, and much more relaxed. What is it all about?"- asked Dad, taking a sip of his black tea.

"I met someone. She is utterly perfect."- I spoke calmly, smiling brighter as my mind filled with images of her.

"That's wonderful, son. What is she like?"- stated happily father with an encouraging, approving smile.

"Very graceful, intelligent, funny, sweet, exceedingly kindhearted, courteous, beyond talented, diligent, and genuine."- I said sincerely, chuckling at his surprised face.

"Are you sure such a woman exists, boy?"- wondered Dad, knowing what kind of woman tends to chase me.

"She looks like an angel and has the personality of one too."- I said surely and he smiled wider.

"Does she know about your feelings?"- wondered Dad and I shook my head.

"Here is my advice, son: follow your heart. She sounds like one of a kind, therefore, the lines of men will be after her. Get creative, go out of your way. Show her what gentleman you truly are."- stated warmly in care dad, smiling comfortingly at me.

"I will. Thanks, Dad."- I replied profoundly, feeling better and more certain in my next actions.

"Daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy."- chirped merry Zara, dashing to me.

"What's up, honey?"- I asked her, chuckling when she climbed on my lap, giggling melodically.

"I want a hug."- she said cutely, making me smile brightly.
