Amber's voice quivered as she continued, "It's not just the werewolf secret Rose. I've learned that you and Paul had a past, a relationship before he and I got together. You never told me about that either."

Rose's silence confirmed Amber's suspicion, and her anger grew. "You were with him before me Rose. How could you not tell me about your history with Paul? Did you ever truly care about our friendship?"
