Chapter 4 I will get that bastard out

The room went silent for a while before Jones broke the silence.

"You are what?" Jones asked again as it seems he did not hear well.

"Preg..nant," Tovia stutters.

"What nonsense!" Jerry blew hot and pushed away the bottle of wine on the table.

"How dare you, father and daughter deceive the Woods? Are you both courting death?" Jerry stands up angrily.

"Mr. Wood," Jones quickly calls to Jerry.

"Please calm down, I will sort this out now," Jones promises sincerely.

He instantly holds Tovia's shoulders tightly with so much anger as his face already turns sore. Tovia could feel the pain from her father's hold on her shoulders. She looks so scared but she knows that she has to keep to her act if she wants to escape the evil marriage.

"Do you say you are pregnant?" Jones asks his daughter forcefully, tightening his hold on her shoulders even more.

"Dad, I'm really sorry," Tovia starts crying because of the pain from her shoulders.

"Are you pregnant?" Jones shouts, releasing his left hand from Tovia's shoulder and gives her a resounding slap with his left hand while using his right hand to still hold the her shoulder down.

Tovia did not expect her father to slap her, the hot slap makes tears flow down her cheeks. It seems she has gone deaf with the slap already. She could feel her head spinning, she looks extremely shocked to know that her father actually slapped her.

Though Tovia knows that her father is a cruel person, but he has never raised his hand on her before. She looks bittered but decides that even if her father will kill her this time then she will die rather than marry into the Woods. Mr. Wood and Jerry are equally surprised to see Jones treat his daughter like that, but that is not their concern anyway.

"Tell me, who impregnated you?" Jones asks furiously and raises his hand to slap his daughter again, but Jerry cuts in.

"Enough of those pretentious acts, Mr. Page!" Jerry slams him.

"So you and your daughter are trying to deceive the Woods by putting on an act umm.." Jerry seems so angry.

Mr. Wood just folds his arms looking angry also.

"Mr. Wood," Jones quickly calls, facing Jerry's father as he lets go of Tovia. Tovia falls to the floor because of the pain from the holds and no one even cares about her. She sits on the floor crying painfully.

"Mr. Wood, you know I am not a person to be dubious, I am a straight person," Jones quickly tries to defend himself because the two Woods are already really angry and Jones knows the consequences of the Woods' anger.

"Mr. Page," Mr. Wood calls with a very serious tone. One will know that he is already furious.

"I wouldn't have minded if your daughter is pregnant or not, but the Woods can never take responsibility for a bastard child," Mr. Wood said frankly.

"Mr. Wood," Jones calls, looking really disturbed.

"I will sort everything out, I will remove that thing inside of her," Jones said pleadingly. Tovia is dumbfounded with what her father just said, she knows that she really in for it this time.

"Why don't I think that Dad will make me terminate the pregnancy even if I am really pregnant?" Tovia cries more.

"If Dad discovers that I actually lied, then he will kill me," Tovia closes her eyes tightly and sorrowful tears flow freely from her eyes.

"Mr. Page, after you sort your daughter out, then, come and meet me, if not, the whole deal is null," Mr. Wood breathes angrily.

"Don't worry, Mr. Wood, I promise to make it up to you," Jones quickly replies and turns to Tovia where she sits on the floor weeping bitterly.

"Come with me!" Jones drags Tovia up as he takes her with him.

"Mr. Wood, Jerry, I am sorry for all these, I will get back soon," Jones pulls Tovia with him and leaves the private room.

"Fuck!" Jerry spat angrily after they leave.

"Dad, are you letting those liars leave just like that?" Jerry looks extremely angry.

"I don't think the father is lying, but let's wait and see, Page knows that no one dares toy with the Woods" Mr. Wood smirks wickedly.

"If I discover that the two deceived us, I am so going to kill them with my bare hands," Jerry looks furious.

"Hmm.. never mind, even if they are telling the truth, that girl will be the Woods," Mr. Wood said meaningfully.

"Dad," Jerry suddenly changes to a soft tone.

"You seem to also be interested in the girl," Jerry smiles.

"You already caught on?" Mr. Wood laughs heartily.

"I could see how you make passes at her," Jerry continues to smile.

"There is no need to hide things within father and son, you know. We can take turns with her," Mr. Wood laughs cockily.

"Dad!" Jerry also laughed.

"If not I didn't do pregnant women anymore, I would've just told the father not to worry," Mr. Wood continued to laugh mockingly.

"Anyway, I don't mind sharing her with you later," Jerry winked at his father, smiling.

"Bad son," Mr. Wood playfully hit Jerry as they both continued to laugh.

Jones dragged Tovia all the way to the car; this time, he didn't think of the public.

"Get in!" He pushed Tovia into the car as she continued to cry, Jones also got into the car.

"Go to the hospital," Jones told the driver.

Tovia panicked, knowing that her father would find out about her lies when they got to the hospital.

"What do I do? What do I do?" Her heart was already in chaos.

"You!" Jones looked at Tovia angrily again.

"Tell me, who is that bastard that impregnated you? Who is he?" Jones yelled, which made Tovia shiver and almost want to tell the truth, but she didn't even know how to tell the truth anymore.

Tovia just continued to cry all the way to the hospital. When the driver drove into the hospital, Tovia's heart beat really fast, Jones instantly opened the door, got out of the car, and then pulled Tovia out of the car too.

"Dad, I'm sorry, I'm really sorry," Tovia cried while Jones dragged her into the hospital.

Tovia drew back, feeling really reluctant to go into the hospital.

"You don't want to get that bastard out of you? Then I'm going to force it out," Jones said, since Tovia was pulling back from going into the hospital.

"Dad, I'm sorry," Tovia kept begging and pulling back.

Jones thought that she didn't want to terminate the pregnancy, but Tovia didn't want to go into the hospital because she knew that her lies would be exposed, and it would be even worse for her when her father found out that she had been making a fool of him all this time.

As Jones continued to drag Tovia into the hospital, there was sudden commotion, and some cars started coming into the hospital.

Reporters rushed out of those cars after they parked. Flashlights from cameras flashed towards Jones and Tovia, standing there, surprised as they saw the commotion.

"What is happening?" Jones looked really surprised and quickly composed himself, letting go of Tovia.

Tovia was also surprised as to why the reporters would suddenly come to the hospital at that time. As they were still trying to figure out why the reporters were there,

"Mr. Page," the reporters called and surrounded Jones and Tovia.

The father-daughter duo looked confused as to what was happening. A cab also entered the hospital after the reporters surrounded Jones and Tovia.

Andre rushed out of the cab and ran to Tovia, as the reporters still surrounded them.

"Andre!" Tovia exclaimed, shocked to see him there too.
