I hear employees whispering among themselves and I know I'm tarnishing my image by accommodating Mrs Wang's drama. I'm perplexed because, for some reason, I don't want to be rude to her.

"Let's take this nonsense to my office."

I declare and continue to my office.

She's surprised at my calmness but her anger doesn't dissolve at my patience.

"Yes sir."

She says.

Mrs Young's POV

I'm surprised that Lucian is patiently listening to my complaints while in his office. Though I see he hasn't offered me to sit so I know, that he's still a cruel man.

"My daughter called me..she said you're having affairs."

"And..?" He says without remorse.

"When you asked to marry my daughter in exchange for your assistance, I.."

"I asked to see your daughter, I wanted her. I didn't say I wanted to marry her. You concluded that. And how is it an issue that I'm having external affairs? "

He smirks as he asks.

I'm disgusted by his arrogance but I comport myself. I know I've insulted him enough with my attitude.

"But.." I try to continue but he interrupts...

"I'm not in love with your daughter. I'm only with her for a while, after which, the marriage will be annulled. I see no reason why I should be bound by marriage oaths in a fake marriage, ma'am. "

He speaks with his resumed tone of authority and ruthlessness and I understand that I can no longer talk back at him. The moment of grace is expired.

"Now, if there's nothing more to address, get out of my office. And don't you dare pull that stunt with me again, else you'll find your sorry selves rotting in jail. "

Wearily, I stroll out of his office, drowned by regrets.

Amidst my sobs, I declare my agony.

"I wish...I wish I never made this decision..oh my sweet daughter...my beautiful beautiful Lisa..oh.."

Later that night...

Lisa's POV

I'm in the sitting room, reading a novel when the door to the house is flung wide open. I jerk up at the urgency to see Lucian darting toward me with annoyance in his eyes.

"What's your motive, you pretentious swine?!"

He rages at me as I'm confused.

"Wh.. what??"

"Oh come off it with that fake innocence you present. You tell your mum I'm having affairs, so she does what? Arrests me,?? Beats me?? Takes me to church? What in tarnation is wrong with you??!"

I'm very confused at the million words seeping through his mouth. Amidst my confusion, I'm offended at his insults.

"Lucian, if you would just calm down!"

"Don't you dare mention my name. Don't you! Stupid. Let me tell you, your tears haven't yet begun flowing. I'll make you suffer for the while you're with me. Let's see whether you call the cops on me. Do you know who I am? What the damnation?!"

With that, he storms off up the stairs and I'm unsure of what has happened. I'm scared, worried and unhappy. I pinch back at my conscience.

"Why should I be unhappy that he's trying to quarrel with me?? I don't like him, remember??" Instantly I feel as though I have just lied.

I run up to my room. Approaching the door, I behold his room and I think of going to talk to him, to get a clear picture of what's going on. But I know, it's a bad bad idea.

I sigh.

Entering my room, I pick up my phone and see I've had 7 missed calls from my mum.

"Huh? What's... Lucian mentioned Mum. I suppose these calls aren't about Dad."

I sigh and dial my mum's number.

Lucian's POV

"Daaammmmnnnnnn!! How dare she??!! Embarrassing me like that."

The realization of the earlier event of the day dawns on me and I'm vexed. I'm angry that I was embarrassed. But something tugs at my conscience and I know that's not the main reason I'm angry.

I'm angry because I feel Lisa has lied to her mum.

"And to think I was starting to like that girl!"

I recollect making out with Franca and Lisa walking in on us.

"Whatever! She wasn't supposed to see that."

A conversation is going on between me and my conscience.

"I wanted to... I wanted to..maybe be a little friendly.." I grimace and sigh...

"But..it means my plan is gonna work. I'll crush that imp's soul with my infidelity. She likes to cry huh? I'll make her cry me an ocean. "

I say, grinding my teeth against one another.

"All of this frustration because of this one girl. What has she done to me?? It's been long I've felt this seriously. Ever since mum..and that traitor, Damian."

I sigh.

I go into my bathroom to take a leak when I hear my room door open. In my heart, I hope it's Lisa coming to talk to me but I catch Franca's image at the entrance to my restroom.

"Tch.."

I think of walking her out but...I realize...

"I'm going to make love to you, Franca. And you're going to scream for me. Sing like a siren while I play the keys of your body."

I behold her overjoyed at this offer and I know, it's going to be a terrible night for Lisa.

Lisa's Room...

I hear a funny sound immersing the lobby and I come out of my room to figure it out. I am confused at first but I decipher that it's the voice of a woman.

The sound is sweet and seductive. I trace where the sound is coming from. I walk down the lobby, for the first time, going in the direction of Lucian's room.

"No..." I say. Seriously I hope in my heart that what I think is happening isn't happening.

I'm in front of Lucian's door and the sound is loudest.

I open the door and see his demi-godly body on top of the snippy Franca.

"How do you like this, huh??!"

He barks at me.
