Chapter 5 Magical Door

This was the second time Alissa had left the palace through any door, she knew when the door could be used and when it was time to lock it. Every time she finished studying, Alissa would leave secretly without anyone knowing.

Only Andrew knows that Alissa is out, and for now Andrew won't tell anyone, instead he has turned to protecting Alissa from imminent danger. Like today, Alissa went to a beautiful flower field with Andrew, the girl picked some flowers that she wanted to take home to the palace later.

"Princess, just get there, you must not cross the forest border." Andrew said, stopping Alissa when she wanted to pick a flower that was right across the river.

Alissa didn't understand why Andrew forbade her from going to the other side, then the man asked Alissa to sit down and tell him why the Elves were not allowed to enter the borders of the forest.

Andrew explained that the border was strictly guarded by the giants because at the end of the forbidden forest there was a gate that connected the two worlds, where the humans lived in their world and the Elves lived in the world that Alissa was now standing on.

"I didn't expect our world to be so wide, thank you for telling me Andrew." Alissa exclaimed.

After they had finished having fun, it was time for Alissa to return to the palace. Usually Winola would come to the room to check so she had to go back before she was found out.

**

Night has come and currently Alissa looks busy looking at the moonlight from the bedroom window which is blocked by iron, even though she can still see the beauty of the moon which is very soothing to the eyes.

Alissa's blue eyes seemed to shine when she looked at the moon. You need to know that Alissa is the only Elf race who has emerald blue eyes. And if it is exposed to sunlight, the color will become a little dark, but if it is exposed to moonlight the color will be brighter.

At that time Alissa imagined that if she had magic powers she would want to try moving an object, and at that moment she raised her hand and glanced at a flower vase next to her bed.

Alissa was surprised when the vase moved even briefly, and when she tried again it didn't happen again. Winola actually went in to check on her condition, but for now Alissa didn't want to tell her mother what happened just now because she didn't feel very sure either.

" Why have not you fallen asleep yet.?" Winola asked and made Alissa rush up to her bed.

"I just wanted to sleep." she replied after she climbed into bed.

Winola moved to help Alissa put on the blanket, after that she sat down and wanted to look at her daughter for a moment before she returned to her room.

"Mother, when will father come to visit Sandora again?" Alissa asked quietly.

"Your father is busy, you know that Valar has a very difficult task and he cannot leave his place at will." Winola explained.

"Then why don't we go to Valinor, I think it would be more fun to live there than in this palace."

"If we live there, who will look after Sandora?"

"Mother is right, mother's job is just as hard as father's."

"You'd better sleep, there's morning class tomorrow and you can't wake up late."

Alissa nodded slowly, after Winola kissed her daughter's forehead she hurried out. But suddenly Winola's gaze fell on a vase of flowers, her eyes narrowed in surprise to see flowers that only grew outside the palace but could be in her daughter's room.

"Where did you get this flower?" Winola asked.

"Andrew gave it to me, he said it was blooming outside the palace." The answer was forced to lie.

Winola seemed to believe it and immediately left. As soon as her mother came out, Alissa breathed a sigh of relief. She had lied to her mother and that made Alisa feel very guilty.

**

Like yesterday, Alissa returned to the forest and enjoyed the atmosphere which she thought was much more pleasant than in the palace. And today, Alissa had friends who always came to her bedroom window. They heard the message Alissa conveyed to the forest frogs, which made them all gather there.

"Are you sure the queen won't find out about this?" Bubbles asked.

"My mother is busy with the kingdom, usually she only comes in the morning and evening." Alissa explained.

"Your mother is the Queen of the Elf nation, she is very great especially at reading the minds of living creatures." Berry continued.

"Mom can't read minds if she doesn't touch my head, I can avoid it so she won't find out." Alissa said again.

"Let's not talk too much about that, because Alissa and all of us are gathering outside the palace for the first time, it's better if we just have fun." Sandy suggested.

" Agree." They all exclaimed.

There, Andrew was still busy watching them. He sat under a walnut tree while playing a stringed musical instrument made by the fairy race. The musical instrument that Andrew played seemed to be the melody of the game that Alissa and her friends were currently playing.

The game of hide and seek played by Alissa and the others meant that Alissa had to hide in the best place. She saw that there was a large tree that was suitable to cover her entire body so she immediately went there to hide.

"Save us."

Alissa looked in all directions in surprise, she had just heard a strange sounding voice who didn't know who she was talking to.

" Who's that.?"

"Save us Alissa, only you can save us."

The sound came from the forbidden forest but Alissa didn't dare to go any further into that place, now Alissa was standing right on the edge of the river that bordered the forbidden forest with her gaze straight ahead.

" What's wrong with you? Who hurt you?" Alissa asked.

"Alissa was caught." Sandy exclaimed, who happened to be tasked with looking for his friends who were hiding.

"What are you doing Alissa? Don't go near the forbidden forest." Prevent Sandy from pulling Alissa's hand away from there.

"I heard someone asking me for help." Alissa answered.

"It's just a hallucination, the forest is quite dangerous for you. Come on, let's go back, I've caught you." Sandy said again and immediately took Alissa away.

The girl still occasionally looked towards the forbidden forest with an uneasy feeling, maybe it was true what Sandy said that the voice was just a hallucination.

The game limit is over, now it's time for Alissa to return to the palace. Alissa and Andrew said goodbye to their other friends before entering the door anywhere. Alissa would go out more often after this when her friends said they would play tomorrow and the next day again at the same place.
