Chapter 5 MANCHESTER

The sun suddenly shone through the large floor to ceiling windows in Flynn's penthouse bedroom apartment, forcing him awake against his will.

He groaned and pushed his face into his pillow to block the light. His head was pounding and his eyes hurt. He was out partying till the early hours of the morning and by the time he stumbled through his door, he was blank out drunk.

"Get the fuck up. You are going to miss your flight" Jaxon hissed and Flynn opened his left eye to glare at his beta.

"What flight?" He tried to stand up but there was a wright on his chin. He looked up and noticed a nest of black hair underneath his covers.

Strange, he didn't remember coming home last night with a lady. He really was batshit drunk.

"Get rid of her and get ready" Jaxon gritted out.

"Wait" Flynn called as Jaxon made his way out of his room

"You didn't tell me what flight"

"You really need to get your life straight. You were supposed to meet with the Alpha of Moon claw pack to discuss pack relations matter tomorrow and your flight departs in two hours"

"Oh shit!!!" Flynn eyes widened as it all came back to him. "I can't believe I forgot!"

"Not to me" Jaxon scoffed and left the room.

Flynn turned to the girl who was still fast asleep. He couldn't even remember her name.

"Hey, wake up" He tapped the girl lightly so she could wake up but she only moaned and turned the other way.

"Hey, I need to leave so get up" He tapped her harder this time and the girl opened her eyes with a frown which turned into a smile when she realized where she was.

"Hey, handsome" She said with a smirk. She sat up and shuffled over to Flynn to run a manicured nail across his chest which he caught.

"I don't have time for this. You need to leave" Flynn told her and her face turned into a pout.

"Are you chasing me out already? I thought there were sparks between us last night? I was hoping to spend the day with you"

"Not happening. I don't fuck the same girl twice" Flynn told her bluntly, ignoring the embarrassed flush of her face "I don't want to see you here when I come out from the bathroom" Flynn told her with a hard voice before disappearing into the bathroom.

Thankfully the girl listened because she was no where to be found when he finished his shower. He decided to skip breakfast and went down to the lounge where Jaxon was waiting for him.

"I think I made it down right on time" He smirked but the beta ignored him and made his way to their car, waiting outside.

Jaxon handed Flynn some files to go through which contained some documents that would be useful for the business meeting they would be having since he had been spending the week in clubs much to the irritation of the beta.

"Are you planning on ignoring me all the way to Manchester?" he asked, knowing Jaxon well he would ignore him up until the trip was over. He didn't utter a word as his eyes where focused on the road, leaving Texas was something Flynn almost never did but this meeting was impossible to cancel or reschedule.

After driving for what felt like a 45mins ride they finally made it to the airport. Flynn walked from the car to the airport, it was a private flight and he was more comfortable. He took a seat waiting for the flight to take off, he still had his eyes on Jaxon who was being extremely quiet and he didn't like any of it.

"Would you stop judging me" he spoke as he turned to Jaxon who cared less if he was speaking.

"If only you would become more serious with your duties as alpha, then I will stop judging you." He voiced.

"Agrh.... Not this again!" he scoffed not seeing any problem with what was going on in his life. He loved the new ladies every night, commitment was never his thing and he wasn't bothered with the responsibilities of even finding a mate. It was as if Jaxon was in his head, he turned over to him slightly,

"your mother won't approve of you living your life this way." He voiced and with that he was done with the conversation as the plane was about to take off.

"Mother" he muttered with his eyes outside his window.

Within a few hours the plane landed and he was received warmly by the Lycan of the Moon claw pack. Mr. Anthony Greg and his son Michael.

"Welcome to Manchester" he announced with a smile while extending a arm for an hand shake which Flynn took. He returned the smile.

"It's good to be here" he voiced shaking hands with Mr. Anthony.

Jaxon made sure there was not a luggage left on the plane as they were on their way to the hotel. They drove around the city, showing the alpha pretty sites around, Flynn wasn't really interested in anything other than a good rest, he sat on the plane for hours which was something he hated. Sitting still for a long time wasn't his thing.

They got to the guesthouse that they would be staying and Flynn took a quick shower before falling on his bed.

"Isn't the view beautiful" Jason voiced as he brought in Flynn's lunch.

"Yeah I guess" he voiced not wanting to wait any longer before closing his eyes to sleep.

"You're really something, after partying all night here you are at the mercy of sleep" he spoke watching the Alpha struggle with sleep and his meal before him.

"Say whatever you want but I need you out in 10 minutes and nobody should disturb me, even if the earth is falling apart. Okay?" he said gulping down a glass of juice.

Jaxon shook his head before clearing the table. " I hope he finds his mate soon" he voiced before handing the dish to the house keeper present and going on to sort out important files.
