Chapter 4 The Discovery

Eventually rose and Ben started to have long conversations daily talking about anything and everything,they both wanted to digest as much information they could of each other.Most times all ben thought about was Rose whenever he slept he heard her melodic voice speaking to him in his dreams.Rose also thought about Ben constantly she could not get him out of her brain.It felt like an irresistible force had pulled her towards him.

After a week of constant phone calls rose decided that she would initiate a meet since Ben had not taken the lead despite all the numerous hints she had been dropping.Just as she thought of him a call came into her phone ,to her surprise it was Ben.

"Rose don't you think it would be nice if we arranged a physical meet up"He said immediately she picked the call.Rose thanked her stars at least she would not have to initiate the meet up anymore he had finally gotten the hint."Are you still there?".Ben asked since he didn't get any reply to his previous question .

"Yes we can meet,it's not a bad idea"rose replied.Ben then sent her the location he had picked for them to meet up as well as the date and time.

The day finally came and rose was a mess,she could not decide on what to wear,she did not want to put in so much effort and end up looking overdressed.But she also wanted to look stunning so that he could know remember he was dealing with a sophisticated and classy babe that had high standards.Nevertheless she was torn and conflicted because she could not figure out what to wear.

Eventually she settled for a pink dress that accentuated her figure and applied little makeup to achieve a glassy look.She looked at the mirror to take one final look at herself,then she nodded satisfied with her appearance.She then spritzed perfume all over her body and headed downstairs to her 2023 Mercedes Benz,it was a customized vehicle and only two other people in the whole world had the same car,it was a gift from her darling father for clocking twenty one years of age.

Ben chose a secluded spot by the river,it was such a perfect option.That way they could talk properly without feeling the forced formality that is usually associated with dinner dates.

Rose gave her driver the night off and opted for driving herself,she couldn't risk her whereabouts being reported to her father this very evening.As she drove to the garden she felt a surge of excitement course through her veins.

Finally she arrived at the garden,her chest thummed in anticipation as she made way to where ben said he would be waiting, coming face to face with Ben she could feel her heart beating rapidly. She could feel the desire she felt for him pool through her panties,rose quickly regained control of her thoughts and instead gave Ben a big hug.

Ben felt his heart beat skyrocket,she smelt fresh like cinammons and vanilla.Truly he was in awe of her overwhelming beauty.

"You have such beautiful eyes they really stand out"Ben said. Rose looked away feeling overwhelmed with shyness,she turned back and stared directly into his eyes .The electricity between them burned so strongly the feeling felt exhilarating .

They spent the day basking in the warmth of each others embrace.They didn't even notice that so many hours had elapsed because they were having such an amazing time.

Ben kissed rose hand suddenly "it's time for you to go home"he said.He felt the sudden urge to send her home as it was already late at night.

Rose looked at him in confusion wondering why he decided to send her home out of the blue,did she do something wrong?rose thought."Why do you want me to go ,is something wrong?"she asked.

"No no it's late already "Ben said with worry coating his voice "It's not safe for you to be outside at this time of the night".

Rose felt herself getting angry, it was bad enough that she had a father who treated her as a child and not like a grown woman ,now Ben wanted to do the same as well

Rose asked in an angry tone "Doyou think you're dealing with a child? "Ben looked at her,he could tell that he had gotten her upset with his actions.

Ben cupped rose's face in his hands,"You're not a child but it's late at night and I can't help but worry about your safety " you need to understand that I'm a grown woman and not a child "rose replied.

Rose stood up abruptly ready to make her way out,obviously he was tired of her that's why he mentioned her leaving.Ben followed her as she made way to the entrance."Rose can we please go back to where we were seated earlier "he pleaded,Rose obliged to his pleas .

Ben looked into her eyes feeling remorseful for ruining such a beautiful evening with his overprotective actions."Please forgive me for treating you like a child you're a grown woman and not some little kid and you can stay out as long as you like"he said to rose hoping she took his apology.

Rose felt her anger diminish , the heartfelt apology he gave her touched her heart.She admired that he had the foresight to apologize.

She told Ben that she had forgiven him for his actions and agreed to return home .However she decided to do something spontaneous before she left,Rose leaned into Ben and gave him a kiss,Ben could feel his chest racing ferociously as he closed his eyes and savoured the moment.

"That was a goodbye kiss sweetheart"rose whispered into his ear ,then she stood up and sashayed to the exit of the garden leaving ben gobsmacked.
