"What happened last night?" Josh asked, emanating a chilling aura that could freeze a soul to death.
"I..." Marsenia clung onto the clean clothes on her body. Thank goodness she was all covered, but the torn clothes on the floor and bright red stain on the bed blew away all the excuse she'd instant.
"You took advantage of me?"
Marsenia: Please who took advantage of you. I'm the victim here.
"You were drug. I tried to call the doctor but instead, you pulled me." Though it was half-truth and lie. She never took advantage of him. She had wanted to call the doctor when she thought he had fever.
"Out!" He coldly instructed.
Knowing he wasn't in a good mood, Marsenia calmly left the room. She knew he must be thinking about his betrayal to his lover but that was none of her concern.
Days passed as it turns to months. Marsenia started having pregnancy symptoms. As for how she knew she was pregnant, it was when she first experience nausea when eating.
At first, she thought it was some sickness. Who knew it was the pregnancy she was asking for.
There was no one to share the happy news with. Josh had been away from home ever since that incident. He must detest her so much. So she decided to keep it to herself.
Maybe heaven wasn't really on her side
The next day, news of her pregnancy was all over the internet causing an uproar on the net. It was first among the hot search on the internet.
When she saw it, she was sure that there was an informant in the house who must have told the media. Now that she thinks about it, all the servants in the house were all Josh people.
He was their master, so they must update him about anything going on in the house.
She was already thinking of how to inform Josh about her pregnancy. Now there was no need to. Should she thank the person who relayed the news.
Stretching her legs, Marsenia made way to the garden admiring the flowers the way along. The fresh breeze blew her hair creating a beautiful scene.
Just as she was about to turn around, she heard a loud shout.
"Davis! Davis, stop!" The servant shouted.
Davis? Isn't that the dog Josh owned. Turning around, she saw the big dog rushing towards her with craze.
"F**k." Too late to dodge, the dog pounced on her.
"Madam!" The servants screamed.
Hiss. Marsenia felt a sharp pain in her lower abdomen. Her clothes were being dragged by the dog. In no time, the dog was withheld by the butler who rushed out seeing the scene.
"Madam! Madam are you okay?"
Marsenia felt so dizzy as she was being juddered.
"It's__"
"Blo.... blood. Blood is coming out."
"Call the ambulance!" The servant all ran around in panicked. What should they do? This was their master child.
"Quick. Inform the young master about this." The butler instructed.
"Yes". The shaky servant left.
"It's okay madam. Everything is fine. The ambulance is on its way." The butler said trying to assure the daze Marsenia.
"My ba... baby. Blood... there is a lot of blood. No, no... this can't be." She'd been waiting for the child only to end up miscarrying it. Not wanting to accept the situation, she fell unconscious.

"Master! You're awake." A voice rang into Marsenia head as she woke up.
"My baby." She murmured as her hand instinctively covered her stomach.
"Master, the baby... it's gone." The voice said in a dejected tone.
"My baby." Marsenia cried out.
"Master do not cry. You'll also make little Bean cry. Wuhu! Little Bean should have come out sooner. Little Bean made master cry."
Both master and the voice cried together.
It been a week she'd been in the hospital, yet Josh never showed up for once. She was just an insignificant person in his life.
"Are you thinking about your husband?" A voice rang in Marsenia ear.
Hearing the word husband, Marsenia sneered. "Husband, you say." She had spent a whole week in the hospital, yet her so called husband never showed up. The hot search was filled with PDA of him and Olivia.
He must have been so devastated betraying his lover, so he came out clean by chasing her.
"I'm really stupid." The girl hoarse voice resounded the ward. Yeah. She was really stupid. Why was she realizing it all along.
She knew he doesn't love her, yet still held on to a freaking hope that he would look at her with different gaze. Who was she deceiving? She was only deceiving herself.
Seeing her anomaly, little Bean appeared out of thin air. How did his master become like this. His previous memory of his master was that of a strong and dominant woman who stood up on the world.
Looking at the woman on the bed wallowing in grief, little Bean didn't know what went wrong. Could it be because her memory was sealed? Yeah, that must be.
Staring at the small treant figure in front of her, Marsenia showed a rare smile for the past few days.
After seeing his master smiled, little Bean was quite shocked that his tiny branches shook as he stuttered, "Ma-master. Y-You smiled."
Not bothering to answer the dazed treant, Marsenia sat upright. Looking at the phone on the table, she stretches out her hand to pick it up. Searching the contact area, she saw the butler number and dialed it.
The receiver end picked up quickly. "Hello, Madam."
"I want to get discharged today. Inform the doctor about it and please get me some new clothes on the way."
"Yes, madam." The line was cut off.
Little Bean who was taking longer to proceed what was happening jumped excitedly, his branches waving through the air.
"Wah! I'm really going to see the outside world. I want to eat a lot of delicious food. Just like the cake master ate earlier. It's so good. Little Bean still can't forget the taste of him."
"*Puchi*" Marsenia stifled a laugh while looking at the silly treant.
