Chapter 5 Five

Allison had a plan to run away but she knew she needed help

She knew she could only confide in Joanita, Allison, and Joanita became close after Carlos humiliated her at his mating ceremony

Later that day as they were left alone to prepare supper

"I need to get out of here and you need to help me, Jo please they'll kill me if I don't escape, " Allison said holding Joanita by the hand tearfully

"Allison am as weak as you what could I do

If we are caught you know we are as good as dead I don't think I can help you"

"Please you got to help please they'll kill me please I beg of you" Allison pleaded

They planned the escape before dawn Allison and Joan were already at the marketplace close to the city gates Joanita distracted the guards as Allison exited the city

She ran with everything in her far far away from Carlos from Becca from everyone that ever brought pain to her not that she knew where she was going but she was just running far far away from Carlos for the sake of the seed growing inside her the seed that Carlos wanted nothing to with

She was so hungry and weak as of this time she has walked for days her feet were already sore and weak from walking the mountainside

" I wished I wasn't so unfortunate I wish I was stronger and I wish I had listened to Father" Immediately she said those words she burst out in tears as she remembered her father her pack her people and her loved ones

"Oh why did I choose I path of doom I should have stayed with Father and enjoyed a peaceful life oh Father am sorry" Allison cried out falling to the ground

Suddenly sensing a strong smell she knew she had it was a deer she had to kill with her last strength she caught it bit it by the neck drank its blood before she regained herself

She continued to surf the cold forest surviving only on any small animal that came her way

With her clothes torn and half of her body exposed

She came to an open fireplace in the forest with the fresh fire still burning she knew someone was nearby

Feeling relieved she called out

"Hello?? Hello, anyone who? Please I've been out for days and I need a place to camp" she shouted out in the open

Then enter an old wrinkled werewolf She walked slowly to Allison

"Greetings my lady" Allison greeted weakly holding her abdomen

"Who are you and what are you doing out here all by yourself the woods is dangerous" lady morgann questioned

"Am only but a victim of an unfortunate situation am running away for the sack of my unborn child I've been walking for the day I just need a place to rest" Allison pleaded

"You cannot stay if you stay here you'll lead them straight to me you must leave at once,"said lady morgann hurriedly

"Them? Who are they? questioned Allison

"Rogue werewolves parade the forest looking for prey, fresh meat like you I've only managed to stay alive because I haven't had anyone visit me for the past thirty year

Once they sense fresh blood it's goodbye for us" lady morgann said

"Please you have to let me stay I'll die out there on my own please I beg of you I'll do anything you ask" Allison pleaded further

"Alright you can stay but just for a few days" Allison was happy she hugged her so tightly

"You can let go now, child," the lady Morgan said

That night at suffer Allison was served something that looked like a concussion in a wooden bowl she hurriedly finished everything because she hasn't had anything solid for days

She was starving her baby in her tummy was kicking that much again because of hunger

They ate quietly then the old lady brought up a topic

"You said you are pregnant, what happened to the father who was slaughtered?

"No," Allison said

"He's well I was running far from him

He didn't want me or his child"

Allison said

"Tell me about it I was banished by my mate too thirty years away just because I couldn't give him an heir I was left here all by myself nobody cared" lady morgann

"Am sorry about that my lady" Allison said

"Morgann call me Morgann please" Lady Morgan added

So your mate did he mate another?

"Yes he did my cousin for that matter I just couldn't take it anymore I was treated so ill I had to leave for the sake of my baby," Allison said almost in tears

"It's okay child you should get some rest," lady morgann said

Allison woke up to the attack of wolves it was the rogue wolves

"I told you they will track you here you have to run as far as you can don't stop," lady morgann said

"What about you what is going to happen to you am so sorry," Allison said panicking

"It's no time for regret you have to go for the sake of the babies," lady morgann said hurriedly

She ran and ran till she felt that she was out of their reach she stopped to catch her breath

By this time she was bleeding with pain in her stomach she could feel life leaving her body

"Please don't hurt me, Allison pleased moving backward slowly

The wolf was about to attack her when out of anxiety she fell to the ground she saw a male werewolf not too clearly as her vision was blurry and her legs injured

But she saw him fight off the wolves and killed them moving closer to her to help her

"Hey hey"Steffi said

"Are you okay"

"Please don't hurt me," she said weakly

"Who are you" Allison asked
