Chapter 7 BREAK UP

Max went to our house crying. I thought her relationship with Lance would be fine now but I guessed not. Lance was asking for a breakup but she declined.

I comforted Max as best as I could and tried to make her feel better. I told her that everything would be alright and that she deserves someone who will treat her right and love her for who she is. I also reminded her that she is strong and beautiful and that there are so many people who care about her. We stayed up late talking and just being there for each other.

while we were spending the day in our house, red was texting me again. he was asking how max was, i told him through text what happened today.

Red was sympathetic towards Max and offered his support, telling me to let her know that he was there for her if she needs anything. I appreciate Red's concern and let Max know that she has friends who care about her and support her

lance has been calling Max for the last hours but max didn't answer any of his calls. She thought that maybe lance was just too eager to break up with him, and since she didn't want to hear it again from him she decided to turn her phone off.

Red was worried about Max, so he came over to our house to check on her. He tried to cheer her up and make her laugh, but she was still upset about the breakup. We all sat with Max and talked to her, trying to make her feel better and reminding her of her worth. Red promised to always be there for Max and support her, no matter what. It was a tough night.

"you'll find another man, max." Red said, "more handsome than him," he laughed.

"I don't know if I can date another man again," max said being dramatic.

"you don't know, maybe, a xefora's bandmates are meant for you too," red laughing.

"Are you confessing you like me?" max ask, almost laughing.

"Oh no, not me. it's a misunderstanding, max." they both laugh, "I look at both of you as my big sister, you know I don't have a sister." he smiled sincerely.

"I'm just joking," max smiled.

"But why is he so eager to break up with you?" red suddenly ask again.

"I don't know," max said shaking her head.

"is there another girl?" he asks again.

"I hope there's not," I said.

"Yeah, me too," Red agrees. "But let's give Max some time to process things. We'll be here for her whenever she needs us."

"You need to talk, to let things out, max."

"How can i talk to him? It's breaking me too much. I can't face the reality that he's breaking up with me. to be honest, i am never ready to know the reason why he's asking for a breakup,"

with what max said, i decided to talk to lance alone, but i won't tell max yet.

we went to a park to have some fresh air. Max and red were together eating, while I stroll for a while.I watched as they talked and laughed with each other. It was good to see Max smiling again after the heartbreak. I took a deep breath and admired the beauty of the park. The sun was setting, casting a warm glow over everything. The trees were rustling in the gentle breeze and the sound of children playing filled the air. I felt at peace being surrounded by nature. It was a peaceful moment that I wouldn't forget.

I saw felix with an old woman. He ties her shoes and starts walking away from the woman. I was smiling at myself as i saw him do that. I almost forgot that we didn't tell him that red was with us.

So I went back to where Max and Red were and told them that I saw Felix. They were both surprised and asked me to bring him over to where they were. I went back to where I saw Felix and told him that Max and Red were waiting for him at the park. He was glad to see them and went with me to where they were.

"What are you guys doing here?" Felix asks while he sat beside Red. "mending a broken heart," said red, which makes us all laugh and lighten the mood. Felix showed concern for Max and offered to listen if she wanted to talk about what happened. It was heartwarming to see how kind and caring Felix was. We spent the rest of the afternoon in the park, talking, laughing, and enjoying each other's company. It was a much-needed break from all the stress and worries, and it was nice to just relax and be surrounded by good friends.

"how are you?" felix asks me, he was looking intently at me. I felt like i'm gonna melt.

"I'm good, thanks for asking," I replied with a smile. "And how about you?"

"good. it's nice to see you again," he said. "stop flirting with her, felix," Red said, laughing.

"Oh, come on, Red. Can't a guy express his admiration for a beautiful lady?" Felix replied with a smirk, still keeping his eyes on me. I couldn't help but blush at the compliment.

"she's melting," max said, and laughed because it was too awkward for me.

I couldn't help but laugh along with them, even though I was blushing. "I'm fine," I said, trying to play it cool. "Just enjoying the park and the company."

"Why don't you date each other?" red said making me almost choke on the sandwich I'm eating

"Red!" I exclaimed, laughing. "It's too soon for that," I added, still smiling. Felix chuckled and shook his head, "Yeah, let's just enjoy each other's company for now."

"Yeah, let's enjoy this first, but we'll go there too," felix said, as he winked at me.

I couldn't help but feel nervous and excited at the same time. I never thought about dating Felix, but the thought of it wasn't so bad. We continued to enjoy the rest of our day, laughing and talking about various things. It felt like we were just friends hanging out, but with a hint of something more. I guess we'll just have to wait and see where this goes.
