Chapter 5

I was just standing in front of the company I work for because the rain is so strong that I don't think I will be able to go home because I forgot to bring an umbrella because I was in a hurry earlier I took a deep breath and bowed.

"Miss?"

I heard him calling me and I looked up.

"I told you, it's you, why are you still here?" he asked and I was not immediately speechless.

Who is it again? anobayan, this is what I've been blessed with, I'm always absent minded.

"I'm Kieffer, your boss friend, don't you remember me?" he asked with a smile so I said 'Ahh' then nodded.

"Wait, don't you have an umbrella?" it asked then looked around.

"Wait." he said and I followed him with my eyes and he came back in his car and as he approached he reached for me with an umbrella.

"From the looks of this rain, it looks like you'll be late on the way home, take this." he said and I looked at him with surprise.

"It's great to look at you, it's just an umbrella, I don't eat well." he said with a wink that made me laugh softly.

"So, if I'm not pretty, you won't give me an umbrella?" I asked raising an eyebrow as he bit his bottom lip then laughed softly and shook his head.

"I never saw that coming." he said with a wink then left me, so I frowned at him and sighed as I looked at the umbrella I was holding.

"Ahh, it's up to you." I said and opened it and started walking because there was no one in front of the company.

When I got home, I went straight to the room and immediately put down my bag and took a deep breath and looked around.

I winced because I suddenly remembered that Mom would come into my room when I got there and would ask what happened in my day.

It looks like I have to suffer for a long time.

I immediately took off everything I was wearing and went straight to the bathroom, I put the clothes I was wearing in the basket and turned on the faucet and started taking a shower.

But while I was caressing my body, I suddenly remembered every kiss he had on my body, I immediately shook my head and tried to put the events of that night out of my mind.

After that, I immediately turned off the tap and spread a towel and got dressed to go to sleep because it was definitely another test for me to be with that man.

tomorrow I went in early like yesterday.

The ones he repeated to me yesterday, I also finished last night but I didn't pass them because he was busy, so I'm just going to post them now because he's not here, that's later.

But I was very surprised to see him inside, looking at his laptop with his hand on his lips.

"Sir?... Ahm..good morning." I greeted and entered.

He didn't answer and kept looking at his laptop.

"Sir, these are the ones you repeated to me yesterday." I said and this time he looked at me.

"Just put it there, that's not really important." he said and my mouth fell open "Sir, this is the inventory of the sales in your company. So, how come this is not important?" I asked and he looked straight at me.

"Are you questioning me, Miss Perez? I know I did make sure yesterday that I told you the things I didn't like, didn't I?" he said and I closed my eyes tightly and took a deep breath.

"Yes, sir." I said.

"Okay." he said and I gasped.

He turned to me before I left.

"Do you need anything else?" this question made me look at it.

"It's gone." I said.

"Why haven't you gone out yet?" This was a serious question so I bowed and immediately left.

After some time Miss Devin came out with Sir Monteverde.

"Everyone!" it called all of our attention so we looked at her while Sir was just seriously sitting at the desk of one of our co workers so we were very excited.

"Jane isn't here, so it means Sir Monteverde doesn't have a secretary. So he will choose his temporary secretary until Jane returns, okay." he said and they immediately raised their hands and presented.

I've turned my attention back to what I'm doing because I have no intention of becoming its secretary.

"Sir, what do you think? Who do you prefer?" this is a polite question.

"He is." I heard him say this but I didn't look back, it's up to them to choose, I'm busy "You want her? Oh, okay. Miss Perez!" Miss Devin called which surprised me and looked at them.

"Why?" I asked and got up from my seat and looked at Miss Devin.

"You take care of it, just let him into my office." he said and left without looking back at me and my eyes returned to our manager when he called me again.

"Miss Perez, what?" he said so I bowed down.

"My god, Miss Perez, did you hear what I've said earlier? Of course, no." he said warningly while shaking his head.

"Sorry." I said and held my breath.

"Go ahead and enter Sir's office, from now on while Jane has not returned, you will take her place temporarily. I will tell you later what you should do, go ahead." it said.

"But because..."

"Miss Perez! Sir Razzel is waiting for you in his office, go!" he said while still clapping his hands so I quickly ran in there and took a deep breath.

"Sir." I called here then came to him.

"You can't choose me sir--"

"I can choose whoever I want." he said and I closed my eyes tightly.

"Please check everything, it was last year's sales." it said and I was stunned.

"Sir, I have done something before, you can check to Sir Loc---"

"Should I call my Daddy just to ask that, that's why I'm here because he needs to rest." he said and I was tormented.

"That's your job, just do it or else I will fire you." he said and I gasped.

"Okay fine!" I said and he immediately looked at me and raised an eyebrow while crossing his arms.

"If that's what you want, Sir." I said and took a deep breath and immediately took my things outside and when I came back inside I connected my USB to the laptop that was there and I checked last year's sales.

"Thank you, I love my job"

"I can hear your whisper so stop that." I heard him say this and I was just overwhelmed.

I looked at the clock and it was twelve but I wasn't done yet, I was hungry.

I stood up and approached him. "Sir." I call it.

"What?" he asked and I took a deep breath.

"It's lunch break." I said and he looked at me then looked at the time.

"You can have lunch if you finish what I ask you to do"

"But sir" I stopped what I was going to say as my stomach churned so I closed my eyes in shame, I just didn't move and went back to what I was doing.

Half an hour passed but I couldn't really focus on what I was doing, I was hungry Until someone knocked and I stood up to open it but Sir was already there and I saw a delivery food in his hand.

Ts Then he will eat. Do not know!

I looked back at the screen but was surprised when he placed it on my desk.

"Eat first, maybe those anacondas in your stomach will disappear." he said so I turned to him.

"You guys haven't eaten yet." I asked but I didn't get an answer and I saw another piece of food that he just left on a table so I stood up and took care of it.

"What are you doing?" he asked but I didn't answer and put his food on the plate then took a spoon and fork and put it on his table.

He looked at me.

"Sir, don't look at me like that, you need to eat." I said.

He stared at me. "I don't know what's going through your head." he said and I looked away.

"Just eat"

"What if I want something else?" he asked and I gripped the spoon tightly.

"I can't forget that night, but you were the one who was quick to do that to you, knowing that I'm the first who do that to you. I'm your first and I will make sure that I'm the last ." he said so I stared at him.

I just kept staring at him because of what I heard, what did it mean

KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK

I noticed that his face seemed to be coming closer to me and suddenly he was holding my waist, which is why I was holding tightly to my skirt.

And it was only a few inches away from me when suddenly...

"Someone's knocking, Miss Perez." he said softly so I woke up and saw his smile so I felt shy, jusko Ahlu, what's that?!

I swallowed one after another then took a deep breath. I approached the door and opened it to see who it was but I was very surprised to see Alexa.

The shock was also evident on his face.

"Ahluna? What are you doing here?" it asked.

"I work here, what are you doing here?" I asked and I even peeked at Sir Syxto because he might get angry.

"Ahh okay. By the way, I'm here to see my boyfriend." he said and I frowned.

"Boyfriend?" I asked and he nodded.

"Who boyfri---"

"Who's that, Miss Perez?" he asked because I had been standing at the door for a long time, I looked at him and to my surprise he was behind me, he looked to see who I was talking to.

"Alexa?" he said and I turned to face him and suddenly Alexa came to him and without saying a word she hugged and kissed him, I was able to look away "Excuse me." I promised and went out and sat where I was actually sitting before.

"Gosh, there's that woman." he said with a low sigh.

"Ahh.. of course she's visiting her boyfriend." I said and looked back at the screen.

"Who is Sir Razzel? Juskolorde, I will really bewitch him if that's true, but thank you and he's just a feelinger." He said that he was busy flirting, he just hit the keyboard in his annoyance so I just laughed and shook my head.

"Miss Perez!" Sir Syxto called and I stood up and came closer because he looked at me when I didn't come closer earlier.

"I can help, Razz, just tell me." he said and I just looked at the ceiling because of the tenderness of the person in front of me.

"No, but thanks, you need to go home, Uncle Martin's gonna be mad if you don't come home." Sir Syxto said, the name he mentioned is Alexa's Papa, that's scary, it's like he's always in beast mode when picking up Alexa.

I noticed Alexa looking at me. "By the way, Razzel, Ahluna is my friend, she's my batchmate last two years, I didn't expect her to be working here." he said smiling so I bit my lower lip.

"Actually he was there for my birthday, too bad you didn't meet." I said and smiled hesitantly.

"Alright, I'm leaving, I know I have nothing against you because you know I love you." he said and I sniffed and then put my hand on my nose.

"Come with me." he said then looked at me. "Miss Perez." he suddenly called me so I nodded and he went with Alexa and I waved to him then entered Sir Syxto's office, but I immediately touched my cheek because I remembered what was going to happen earlier, Ahlu eh.

"Did I hear something?" said Reena which made me jump in shock.

"What is that?" I asked scratching my head and took a deep breath.

"Because based on what I heard, you were friends with...that..that woman, and she was with him for her birthday, so you and Sir have met before, right?" he asked and I didn't say a word.

"What, this is it." I said and went in but he followed me.

"Let's share it." he said and I held my breath.

"Yes, we met before, didn't I tell you that he looks like a familiar to me." I answered and it was 'ohh' so I shook my head.

"So what exactly is that" he was stopped because of Sir Syxto's entrance and we fixed Reena while bowing.

"Sorry sir, I'll be back." he said and ran away.

Sir left us inside and I just went back to my desk and saw my food getting cold.

I was starting to eat when he approached me and suddenly pulled me to sit on my desk and he continued the kiss he interrupted me earlier but it was only for a moment.

"Alexa is not my girlfriend.." he said and I looked away.

"Whether she's your girlfriend or not, I don't think I have a say, do I?" I said.

It took a deep breath. "I'm forcing us to be close Luna, I don't want to do it but I can't help it, maybe you charmed me." he said so I looked at him and took a deep breath.

"Sir, you don't know what you're talking about..." I said.

He was going to kiss me again but I stopped him.

"Sir, if you're doing this because... because of what happened to us that night, please stop.. I was drunk that night, and for sure you wouldn't have done that to me if you weren't drunk, it's just a one night mistake la----"

"Mistake?" He asked me with a frown so I bowed down so I couldn't see his reaction.

"That night was just a mistake for you"

"Sir, don't torture my mind, let's stop it, I just want to work, and whatever you think about that incident is nothing, let's just pretend it was a dream." I said and looked at him, I didn't see any emotion on his face, I turned to the person who opened the door, I was surprised because he might be one of our colleagues but he was just a friend of Sir I got down from the desk and was about to go out.

"If for you it was just one night's mistake, it's not for me, but I will respect your decision." he said and I sighed and saw the questioning look on Sir Kieffer's face.

When I closed the door I leaned back, Reena approached me.

"Anyare, did Sir Razzel scold you? I'm really sorry if I gossiped about you during work hours." he said and I just smiled and sat at my desk and helped Reena.
