Chapter 3

Razzel 'Syxto' Monteverde Pov

"Sir Monteverde?"

"Six!" I heard a call to me that stopped my thoughts.

"What?" I wondered.

"What's up bro, we've been calling you for a while but you're not paying attention to us. What's bothering you?" Keiffer asked. He's my friend and also my business partner.

"Don't ask Keif, there's only one thing running through our friend's mind, the woman who left him at the hotel." Martin said laughing so I shook my head and immediately looked at the woman on the side who was just standing there.

"What?" I will ask.

"You have a meeting Sir with Mr. Cruz at 2:00 pm." he said and I nodded.

"Okay, go ahead." I promised and he bowed then left.

"You know, Syx, forget that? And besides, you've been in bed with a lot of people, for sure he's no different." Keif said but I shook my head.

She's different. She really different. I smiled remembering how good he was even though it was his first time.

"it's getting worse." Keif said throwing the ballpoint pen he was holding at me.

"I want to see her again." I said smiling as I grabbed the ballpoint pen he threw at me so they immediately looked at each other and shook their heads.

I got closer to my desk and folded my hands. "I don't think she's safe that night...I mean when we did that, I don't even use my condoms for some protection.." I said, it was really vague because she definitely didn't expect it to disappear it kept for several years.

"So, do you think you can get her pregnant in just one night? Oh c'mon bro, it's not possible." said Martin.

"Well you're right but there is a 20 percent chance, Kief." I said to Kieffer and he nodded.

"Yes, but you do realize that she is one of the 80% who can't get pregnant, right?" he said so I laughed and nodded.

"But you know Syx, you wouldn't have a problem with that if you didn't go to Alexa's birthday." it said.

"You know how nasty he is." I said.

"That's another thing, what if Alexa finds out that you had a one night stand with one of her friends, for sure you will be upset." it said.

"She's not my girlfriend." I promise.

"But she loves you...like craaaazy!" he said and I looked away.

I took a deep breath and continued my work because I was going crazy thinking about that woman.

A week after Alexa's birthday party, I went back to my old life, I tried to forget what happened because even if I cry, I can't turn back time.

"Luna, please serve me something to eat!" Tiya ordered, frowning at me, how many times has she been like this if she could order.

"Auntie, you have hands, you can serve yourself." I said and he immediately grabbed my arm very tightly.

"Don't answer me, you might regret it." he said making me frown even more.

"Sister Isang, that's right, I'll be the one to serve the food." Mom said that I closed my eyes tightly and told Mom that I was alone.

"Belinda, did you hear what happened to Aling Persing's son?" Aunt Isang suddenly said that we turned to her and she was just sitting in front while drinking coffee.

"Why what happened?" Mom asked if the goods were in order.

"Nothing, her boyfriend just got pregnant early." he said and I was surprised when he suddenly looked at me, I immediately swallowed.

"Are you sure? It's okay, he's still very young." Mom said so I took a deep breath.

"I don't know, early flirting, early itching." said this and Mom took a deep breath.

"So if I were you Belinda, I would be ready, you never know, maybe one day, that's grandma." he said with a burst of laughter and I looked away.

"You really are, that's vague, my children are not that kind, Luna is kind and even Maximo, I know they won't do things that will harm them." said Mom and Aunt laughed so I looked away.

"Did you hear that Ahluna? Your mother trusts you, so I hope she doesn't disappoint." he said and shook his head laughing.

"Let's go eat." Mom said while holding my hand.

After our dinner, I immediately approached Tiya and confronted her.

"What happened earlier?" I promised and he stopped lighting the cigarette he was holding and looked at me.

"Do you want to say something?" I asked and he laughed and lit the cigarette and immediately smoked it and blew out so I covered my nose.

"You girl, do you want to say something?" he asked and I looked away.

It laughed. "Have you met the man you slept with." he said while smoking his cigarette again so I looked at him and saw his laugh.

"Looks like it's not yet"

"How did you know?" I asked nervously.

"It's not important anymore." it said.

I took a deep breath.. "Are you going to tell Mom?" I asked and he looked at me for a long time.

"Depends on how my brain works." he said and I swallowed one after the other and I heard his loud laugh and pointed at me as if he was laughing at what was happening to me.

"Yes, I'm crazy, a drunkard, always involved in trouble, always gambling and madjong, sometimes even smoking you know...don't make a noise." he said laughing so I stared at him.

It stood up from sitting on the stool and patted the yosi and laughed softly at me.

I was in tears and just bent down and looked at Tiya who was walking away from me and smiled secretly.

"I'm just taking a breather, why don't you rest yet?" I asked trying to steady my voice and he smiled at me.

"I'm going to rest, I'm just going to get the rags I rolled out earlier because I'm going to need them tomorrow at the market." it said.

"It's me, go inside, it's too foggy outside. Let's go." I said and went to the back of the house to get Mom's rags, I stopped and then looked at the sky and I immediately saw the moon so I smiled.

The next day I was surprised to see Tiya Isang walking.

"Where are you going?" I will ask.

"Ahh me? Nothing, just over there." he said and I frowned.

"What are you doing Ahluna, don't look at me like that, you thought I was going to climb that house." he said and I just held my breath.

"Serve me, I'll eat first before going there where Aling Osang says I can make a living." he said and my forehead furrowed even more.

"Are you? Looking for a job?" I asked and later laughed.

"What you stupid kid! Are you saying I don't have the ability to find a job?" he asked annoyed while taking off his slippers so I raised my hand and laughed.

"I'm sorry Auntie, I just can't believe it." I said still laughing.

"What's the matter.." he said with a hand on his ear and the bottom of his slippers and looked away.

"Everyone!" suddenly said Miss Devin, our manager here where I work as accounting, we all stood up and immediately bowled here.

"Good morning, Miss Devin." We greeted and looked at everyone before speaking.

"Good morning, I have an announcement to all of you. The son of the ceo is taking over his father position from now own, so later I will introduce him to you, so make sure you are all presentable here, I don't want to be embarrassed and be seen as pure just gossip." Miss Devin promised.

We nodded. "Yes ma'am!" we said and he smiled then went out.

The faint whispers started again. "My god, I can meet our CEO's son in person." One of my co-workers said excitedly and I also looked at the others and they seemed to be talking about the same thing.

"Why does it seem like a big deal that the son of our CEO is taking over?" I asked Reena, one of my closest friends.

"Is that still being asked? Mr. Razzel Syxto Monteverde is one of the hottest and yummiest young man in the Philippines, oh I forgot to say he's also the most handsome of all." he said and I winced.

"He's a top model in Thailand." he said and I nodded.

"If he invites me to spend even one night with him, I will immediately agree, it's just a bonus to be included in his bucket list." he said and I laughed.

"On his bucket list?" I asked and he nodded.

"I don't know if Miss Devin hasn't hired extra employees, when Sir Razzel comes I will really attract him and that's what I will request right away." This promise made me laugh softly.

"I'm the ceo's friend, I just wanna check his new office if everything is complete, because that's a bit delicate." he said and I nodded and was about to enter but he faced me again.

"By the way, I'm Keiffer." he said winking at me and frowning, what's that? what is that for? and when he saw my reaction he laughed and went inside our CEO's office and I just sighed and returned my attention to what I was doing to see Reena again.

"Oh baby, I brought you your foodangs here, I don't want you to be hungry, you know I love you." he said with a heart finger to me so I laughed and he sat down next to me and we ate the Eggdrop he brought. sandwiches.

And the man had come out earlier so I stood up again and so did Reena, not to bow but to thrill him, hey.

"Hello Sir Keiff!" he said and I was surprised that he knew the man.

"Hi." he said smiling.

"By the way, there is someone I know who's in charge of being Mr. Monteverde's secretary." it asked us.

And next to them is none other than Miss Devin.

"Everyone!" he said and we all looked at him and immediately stood up.

"Mr. Monteverde and his son are here. Let's welcome him." he said and there were faint whispers inside the office but they stopped when Miss Devin looked at them.

"Sir Monteverde, good afternoon." He said to Sir who was our CEO then, now he is his son.

"Good afternoon, Where's Syxto?" he asked Miss Devin when he looked back and it wasn't there.

"Oh Sir, I'm sorry, he just needs to answer his call of his other business." said this and Sir immediately tasted it.

"Call him, now!" This order was immediately followed by his friend. Who is that? Ahh Kieffer, yes.

While we are waiting for Sir's son, Miss Devin is giving him water because he seems to be stressed, our CEO seems to be sick so he is getting down from his seat.

Sir Kieffer came in a bit out of breath, ran yarn?

"Where is he now?" Miss Devin asked.

"He's here." he said and then stepped aside so we all looked at the door and a tall man in a black suit entered.

He bowed a little to his father. "I'm sorry, I just need to answer the urgent call." said this and Sir Locco took a deep breath. That's his nickname, that's what he wants us to call him, he's very nice to us and I just hope this man in front of us isn't just a pimp, I winced.

But I just returned my gaze to him because as I saw it in the picture that Reena showed me, he is really familiar to me but I can't really remember where. Maybe Reena is right, I saw it on social media.

"Everyone, meet our new CEO of Monte Corporation, Mr. Razzel Syxto Monteverde!" Miss Devin introduced herself so we immediately bowed and greeted her. "Good afternoon sir." We congratulated and thrilled the women who winked at it.

Until our eyes meet, there is a trace of shock in his eyes, amazement? I just ignored it and sat down because that was our only purpose to congratulate our new CEO.

"Call Jane, she's your secretary." said Sir Locco, but he immediately stopped walking and looked at me, which is why I frowned. Why can he look at me like that?

"Let's go in, Sir." said Miss Devin and he looked at her and then took a deep breath, what's wrong? I just winced and looked back at my work.
