"Are you from the Adolpha pack?", he asked while he pockets his knife and brings out a dagger. Before he could think of what to do, I lunged forward and clawed his chest. He tries to dodge but it's too late, I felt my claws brush the skin. In a way, I felt proud; of my first fight as a werewolf. He presses his palms on his fresh scars. As he cups the blood in his shaking hands, he falls to the ground. I jump on top of his chest and growl in his face. His knife had dropped a few centimeters from his hand, he tried to reach out to it.
"Don't even think about it", I say surprised by how deep my voice sounds. I dig my claws into his hands and he lets out a groan of pain.
"You win", Blade whispers."Don't kill me".He's weaker than I thought. He's not even a werewolf: all bark and no bite. I place a paw on his throat, allowing my claws to sink into it.
"Why should I? You wanted a fight and I'm giving you one", I say as I eye the blood that dribbles down his neck. Blade breathes faster and faster the more I talk. His gaze is steady, he's stuck in shock. He didn't expect a werewolf. I press my paw even deeper. He tries to fight back and uses two of his hands to try and lift my paw. I almost laugh at his attempt until it starts....working.
I tried to resist but he started showing an unnatural amount of strength. Holding one of my paws messed up by balance, after all, I still wasn't used to this body. When he had a full grip on it, he pushed me to my surprise. I toppled over and lay flat on my back. It was going to be a struggle to get back on all fours again. Blade eventually gets up on both of his feet. He takes off his torn shirt which still has the claw marks on it. His chest is lean and defined with plump biceps and hard abs. The scratches I gave him earlier rested above his abs and they seemed to be healing themselves. As I struggled to get up, Blade came towards me and it seemed that with every step, his scars seemed to heal more till they were hardly there anymore, like I hadn't even scratched him in the first place.
"You're right. I'm no werewolf", he says and simultaneously uses a rubber band he had on his wrist to put his hair in a ponytail. He knelt in front of me with one knee and pressed his hand into the earth."I'm better".The rocks around us rose, levitating off the ground like it was magic. Blade was controlling it all. He kept his hand on the ground and they rose higher. Then they seemed to come together to form a massive boulder. I stepped back unsure of what he was going to do next.Run.I had to run.
I abandoned the bag of clothes and equipment I had brought with me and ran through the path I had come in. I had run far enough to not see Blade anymore. I slowed down to rest. My paws felt numb. I still wasn't used to it. Just when I felt comfortable enough to stop panting, a massive shadow blocked the sun. I looked up and expected to see a cloud but instead, I saw a large rock. As soon as I noticed it, it started descending and fast. I took a huge leap to escape but it ended up trapping my tail and a part of my lower body. I yelped in pain, feeling my eyes get wet. Whatever he was, he was powerful. Powerful than any werewolf; or human. Another shadow blocked the merciless sun and I saw Blade's feet in front of me. I manage to lift my head and see him smirking at me. And it was a cute smirk too.
He bends himself so we see eye-to-eye. Before I could lash out at him, He held his hand to my face and everything went black.

"She's waking up!"
I feel a hand on top of mine. Too small to be Jay's, too big to be Andrea's.I open my eyes a little and see everyone walking into my room from the open door. I turn my head to the side and immediately regret it. It sends a wave of pain up my neck, too painful to be real.
"What happened?", Jay says leaning in close to me. Lizzy's other hand pushes his face away." She just woke up!", she says and squeezes my hand. She leans in next with a worried look on her face."Are you ok?"
"Yeah, I think so", I whisper because I feel weak. If I were to use any more strength, another wave of pain would follow; the last thing I want. Now, I want an answer to Jay's question.
"What happened?", I ask.
"We found you in the woods with one of your legs trapped under a boulder. Luckily, it wasn't damaged badly", Spence says looking up at me from where he leans on my doorframe."Another perk of the Adolpha pack".
"That doesn't add up", I say. The last thing I remembered was practicing and the next thing, I was waking up with the nastiest headache ever. Jay seems to panic at my answer because he starts pacing to and fro, with his chin in his hands."This is bad", he says.
"They've already started attacking and they're clearing up their tracks too", Spence adds, shaking his head."Our plan needs to start soon"
"But one of our newest just got injured", Jay says, gesturing to me.Once again,I feel like I'm the problem. Not to mention,I'm still mad at him.
"We're gonna need backup", Andrea says and whips out her phone. She places it to her ear."I'm calling the other wolves of the Adolpha pack".
