Chapter 7 The Kel's

Ann got home and immediately highlighted from the vehicle slamming the door in anger, walking inside she met Philip and Miara

"Do you guys have a house? I don't understand

why I work while you both sit around eating without any care in the world" Ann retorted making the duo drop snacks in their hands

"Miss. Grumpy, come sit and tell us what happened in the shoot" Miara replied and that was all it took for her to sit on the couch

"The shoot went well, after the shoot the male model.... Hmmm Ritego, yes he spanked my ass and "Ann retorted but was interrupted

"What!!! He spanked your ass" Philip and Miara asked in disbelief

"Yeah, Then James came forward and was talking endlessly, I had to intervene but you need to see the way he talked down at me like it was his body" Ann explained pissed.

"Let's get this straight, who are you angry with, because James was doing the right thing" Philip asked

"He went too far, not like his body" Ann retorted

"Then, you enjoyed the guy touch" Phillip fired back

"What are you saying?" Ann replied her eyes bulging out of its socket but their conversation was cut short by the ringing of her phone.

"How is my beautiful princess doing today" Mr. Kel said over the phone

"Daddy, am so glad you called, am having a tough day here" Ann replied

"How about you come over to the mansion, Daddy's in town" Mr. Kel replied

"Really, what of mom?" Ann asked and she could hear her dad sigh at the other end

"Your mom is here also" Mr. Kel replied

"Okay Dad, I will come over tomorrow" Ann replied, and with that said, she hung up.

"Your mom is around?" Miara asked guessing what could make her moody.

"Yeah, I don't know why my day is just getting worse with time" Ann replied moodily

"Okay girls, how about we go to the karaoke club," Phillip said trying to clear the atmosphere.

"No, let's go to your place and paint" Ann replied

"No, no, no my place is out of it, I know the mess you guys made the last time you came there" Phillip replied hastily making the two ladies giggle

"I'm feeling blue, you are aware painting makes me happy "Ann replied childishly

"You don't know how to paint Ann; you just destroy my brush and waste my paint" Phillip replied frustrated

"I want to paint!!"Ann screamed, making the cute puppy faces.

"Fine, let's head to my place" Phillip replied

"Yeah, you are the best, let me change" Ann laughed and rushed upstairs.

"Oh God!! am sure my house is going to be a total mess," Philip thought rubbing his head in frustration.

" Wow, your painting room got better, you got a larger board" Ann retorted

"The board is not for painting" Philip replied

"Then what is it for?" Ann asked

"I knew you would need a larger board, the smaller one made you dirty my floor" Philip replied

"You are so sweet, let's get to work bring the paint" Ann replied giggling

Philip got the paint and brush and the two ladies set to work, picking the brush, Ann dipped it into the paint and splashed it on the board

"That for coming back with my dad" Ann retorted at the first splash

"You hate your mom that much" Philip retorted

"She hates me also, so the feelings are mutual" Ann replied

"That for the killer of Gregory and Peter" Ann retorted at the second splash

That way she continued splashing the paint venting her anger on the boards into the night, this helped clear her worries, anxiety, and anger.

Stepping into the mansion, the maids and guards bowed to her, she sighed hoping this visit went well. She met Mr. Kel coming down the stairs

"My princess is all grown up, look at her" Mr. Kel retorted grinning

"Good morning dad, when are you going to stop with the flattering" Ann replied

"Not any time soon and you came just in time, I was heading for the dining" Mr. Kel replied

"Am not hungry Dad" Ann replied

"I forgot to mention, am not taking no for an answer" Mr. Kel replied

Ann heaved a sigh in defeat, interlocking their hands, the father and daughter walked into the dining, smiling at each other but this was cut short when Ann saw her mom already sitting

"Good morning Mom" Ann muttered, there was dead silence with no response from Mrs. Kel.

"Princess, come sit, am sure your mom is tired" Mr. Kel muttered trying to clear the air

"No Dad, I think this is the best time to have this conversation, mom how have I wronged you?" Ann asked

"When you bring nothing but disgrace to the family" Mrs. Kel fired

"How? Am doing perfect in my work, I help out with dad's company too, so tell me how I bring disgrace to the family "Ann asked sniffing

"I guess you want me to spell it out to you, you are a MURDERER" Mrs. Kel dropped the bombshell and everywhere was dead silent.

"Hazel, what has come over you? Mr. Kel questioned looking disappointed

"No Dad let her say her mind" Ann replied

"Let me give you a piece of my mind well, I think Hazel you are not my mom, my mom was a kind-hearted, sweet, and gentle woman but look at the way you treat your workers, my mom would never call me a murderer, cause she understands what am going through" Ann continued

"Dad, wherever you picked her from dump her, because she is not my mom, ever since the accident, I noticed the changes but I thought you would come around but right now am more than convinced you are an IMPOSTER" Ann retorted sniffing

"Ann, what are you saying" Mr. Kel retorted

"Dad, haven't you noticed the changes, she is not my mom and until you return my mom am not stepping a foot into this house again" Ann replied and walked out of the house instantly.

She walked speedily into her car and immediately got her cell phone

"Make an investigation on what happened during that accident and also keep a close watch on Hazel Kel, I have a feeling she's an imposter," Ann said into the phone

"Yes, boss" The person at the other end replied and the call ended

"I would get to the roots of this, something definitely happened, it's just the face and voice that's the same. The woman in that house is an IMPOSTER and I would bring you down" Ann thought. The devil in her has certainly been unleashed.

Two anonymous

persons are on a call, their faces not in view.

"What did she say" the caller asked

"she said I should look into the accident case, and also that madam Hazel could be an imposter" The other person replied

"You know what to do" The caller replied

"Yes boss" The other person replied and the caller hung up

"Annabel Kel, you don't walk faster than your shadow" The caller retorted grinning devilishly, and walked into the dark alley of the building.
