Chapter 4 How is she gonna face him

Micheal got home and met Travis in the sitting room watching a horror movie

"Welcome back buddy" Travis greeted with his mouth full of popcorn

"How are you doing," he asked

"I'm fine, I heard about what happened," Travis said

"I guessed Sweeney told you already " Micheal replied

"That girl has some nerves, anyways what did Dave say about what happened," Travis asked

"She hasn't told him, she requested something," Micheal said

"And what was that" Travis inquired

"She asked me to get her pregnant "

"What the hell," Travis said shockingly

"I'm going to deal with that bitch" Travis said

"Calm down dude, we haven't dealt with the one on the ground "

"How I wish I could kill her and Dave, are they even humans?" Travis asked no one in particular

"So what do you intend to do" Travis continued

"I don't know, I'm sure she's gonna tell Dave, I'll just prepare for the worse" Micheal said

"But don't you think it's time you stand up against him, you're a grown-up already, I can't take this nonsense anymore, we have to do something about it," Travis said already getting angry

"What did you want me to do, I can't possibly do anything stupid when he knows what to threaten me with" Micheal replied

"Don't you always think about your sister, fine she may act like she's fine with it but she also wants you to take action"

"Well it's because of her I'm staying like this, I can't let her get rusticated from school like Dave promised if I didn't attend the wedding or do what Sydney wants"

"But we all know that it can't happen"

"How are you even sure about it, you know we shouldn't even be doing this, we are supposed to look for a way out," Micheal said

"And that's what I'm doing, I'm saying the truth, you should do something about it and stop caring about his threat, you're no longer a kid, don't you know that you're entering a joyless and loveless marriage if you concur, will you want to live your entire life like that" Travis yelled

"I'm out of here," he said finalizing his word and left

SHOPPING MALL

Cora entered the supermarket and began taking what she needed. She was about to pay when Sydney entered the mall. Her heart skipped a beat and she paid quickly.

Sydney saw her and smiled as she walked to her

"Hey, can I have a word with you?" she said, faking a smile. She held her hand and dragged her out of the mall

Since she saw her with Michael, she has been threatening her to quit working at the company and she's not ready to leave the company

"Hey I told you to quit, what are you still doing at the company, I saw you when you ran away this morning" Sydney yelled slapping her face

"I'm sorry miss, I can leave yet" Cora sobbed

"Why, I know it's because you like him," Sydney said jealousy

"No miss that's not it, I need the money to save up for my mom's surgery," Cora said

"I'll give you the money, I'll text you the address, and come to my mansion tomorrow," she said

"Okay miss"

"I don't want to see you again at the office" Sydney replied and walked into the supermarket

NEXT MORNING

EVANS COLLEGE

Sweeney came out of her hostel all dressed for lectures and met Frederick on his knees. She decided to ignore him and was about to walk away when he held her right hand.

"What are you doing here, I told you to stay away from me, haven't you done enough in my life, which part of it did you not get, just stay away from me Fredrick" Sweeney shouted hurtfully and tears rushed down her face

"I still love you, Sweeney, I'm sorry for what I did, I've realized my mistake, please give me a second chance, Sweeney" Fred pleaded

"Don't ever tell me you love me, I don't want to hear it from your stinking mouth, you should have given me a reason then break up, it wouldn't have hurt to this extent".

" Do you know how many times I cried when I remembered what happened, do you know how many times I lost appetite and felt sick, do you know, you don't know anything and you're coming here to beg for forgiveness? I don't want to talk about it" Sweeney said

" Just find a place in your heart to forgive me" Fredrick begged and shed tears of regret

He now realizes how much he loved her when she was gone. He wishes he could turn back the hands of time and change what happened but it's impossible

" Sweeney please listen to me, Sweeney, Sweeney!!!" Fred called as Sweeney walked out of sight without looking at him again

Sweeney got to the lecture room and met the lecturer in the lecture room, though the class was just about to start.

She found a seat and sat down, she began listening to the lecturer and started jotting down

Sweeney came out of the lecture room and smiled. She was chosen as the lead surgeon for their practical surgery and she can't be more happy.

She drove home and prepare lunch when Bianca came in

Both aren't offering the same course. She's studying general surgery while Bianca is studying pharmacy

"Baby" Bianca screamed

"Wanna destroy my eardrums" Sweeney replied

"You didn't even reply to my greetings, I'm hurt" she replied faking a hurtful expression

"Whatever, you can't believe I was chosen as the lead surgeon again" Sweeney beamed

" Wow, congratulations baby" Bianca hugged her

" Thanks, sweetie, you should have seen what Candy's face was like" she laughed

" She'll wanna blow"Bianca replied joining the laughter

" So when is the practical " Bianca asked after the laughter died down

"It's in two weeks, I'll have a lot of time to prepare" Sweeney replied

"Okay, good luck"

" Aren't you scared of your dad?" Bianca asked changing the topic

"I'm a little bit scared but trust your baby" Sweeney smiled

"You shouldn't have done that much, you could have gotten her arrested"

"I never knew you were dumb, you think she'll get arrested?, And also everyone knows that Micheal is her fiancee so to say"

"Yeah that's right but you could have said that without the insult"

"I love you best part, "Sweeney said

" I hate you, dish out the food, I'm famished" she replied

NIGHT

CALIFORNIA

Cindy was just coming out of the office cause there was so much to do when pain gripped her lower abdomen. She held her tummy and winced in pain. She knew her period would come today and decided to leave work early but there was so much to do

Rain began falling and she started shivering. Her cloth was stained with her blood already and she have to change on time because she was feeling uncomfortable but the rain won't let her go home

She was about to enter the rain when her hand was held by someone and she looked back swiftly

"What are you trying to do, why will you enter this heavy rainfall, do you wanna get sick," Cody said almost yelling

Cindy looked at him and wondered why he was getting angry at her because of her health

"I'm sorry sir" she found herself saying and Cody sighed

"Get in the car I'll give you a ride," he said and used his suit to cover her head

"I'm sorry sir but I can't go with you"

"Why," he asked

"My cloth is stained," she said feeling embarrassed

"It's okay you can sit on the suit" he replied and held their hands while he walked to the car without any covering on his head

They both entered the car and sat down waiting for the heavy rain to stop and it stopped after 30 minutes.

Cody ignited the car and drove down the wet road, he had a lot going on in his mind. What the hell was wrong with him, he has never acted this way to a lady before cause he's an introvert.

He can say the reason why he was angry at her for wanting to go into the rain. He just knew that he had to stop her.

He got to a store and went in. He got a pack of sanitary pads and tampons and went back to the car.

"Let's go to a nearby boutique so you can change," he said and she kept mute feeling greatly embarrassed

They got down from the car and Cindy tied Cody's suit around her waist

"I'll wait outside, take this debit card and buy whatever you want to get," he said

" Okay sir" she replied

She entered the boutique and bought a beautiful dress and panties which she will change into

She went to the restroom to wear a pad first before changing her cloth

She went to the changing room and changed into the beautiful gown but now there was a problem

How is she gonna face him?
