Chapter 5 Nathan

Nathan WAS LOCATED IN A DANDELION VALLEY. His cheeks warmed as a result of the sun's intense rays. Unfamiliar hands suddenly covered his eyes. The chuckle reveals who it is.

As he drew her body close, a chuckle escaped his lips. What if I wasn't who you believed me to be? She poked him in the chest as a joke.

Through her eyelids, she could see her green eyes rising. I assumed it was you, cupcake. How did you know that." The idea that he might be considering someone else made her mouth snarl. He giggled more and pulled her tender lips to his.

"Nathan, why don't you believe me?" She backed away from him when her voice broke into a sob.

"What should I believe in ?" To keep her close, he gripped her arms. She struggled with him.

"You abandoned me," She screamed. She retreated a step, terrified that he was a monster standing before her.

"Zara, I don't comprehend. He attempted to seize her with his hand. Even still, she continued to elude his grasp.

"You turned away from me. You forced me to go. You lack compassion. She yelled. She was slowly losing shape as the meadow was enveloped in an eerie fog.

Nathan observed the full-bloomed dandelions as they all wilted away. They were dying instantly. The beautiful green grass turned to a lifeless yellow. The valley was filled with a horrible cry.

Nathan, who was drenched in sweat, bolted upright on the couch. Since the first week, he hasn't experienced a nightmare. He used to wake up vomiting because they were so horrible. They would be part of the pack pursuing and killing her. They no longer treat her as their previous Luna but like a dirty rogue. Or the one that, in his opinion, was the worst. Witnessing her with a wolf. A wolf that won't punish her. Hiding her, protecting her, and adoring her.

It was three in the morning when I looked at the clock. He decided to go running instead of trying to go back to sleep. To the cluster of buildings, he ran. It was his first visit since she left. He kept thinking about how fixated she was on making things right.

All as a result of her visit to Blackwell. Who would have imagined that they would be here now after that? Unmarried but mated. Why do you despise me? At the heavens, he shouted. I'm not sure if someone was in charge up there. If there was, then why did they enjoy making Nathan so miserable?

Nathan heard a twig break. She was changing his awareness of his surroundings. He shifted and dashed through the forest in search of the danger. He could not detect or smell any other people. Undoubtedly a squirrel. He continued into the woods, following his instincts from the beginning.

He decided to explore the pack lands. He never actually took the time to tour the entire territory he controlled. The majority of Alphas are well familiar with their surroundings. He was unfamiliar with every square inch and had only visited less than half of it. Nathan couldn't help but feel he was acting like an arrogant Alpha.

His breath froze in his throat as he made his way into a clearing where he had never physically been before. That clearing was here-the person he had in his dreams.

The dandelion-filled field. Although he had never been here, he had certainly seen it before. It seems to be their unique place, he thought. He was certain she would be included in any fantasy that began here.

He would construct his home here where he could be near her without being bothered by memories or smells. His wolf shared his enthusiasm for the concept.

HE HAD GIVEN Naomi the assignment THREE DAYS AGO. She was able to finish it in three days. He was taken aback. Puppy education requires more than that of a human youngster. In addition to wolf knowledge, they also needed to learn about humans. They needed to be aware of legislation, pack politics, and shifts. These took precedence over the curriculum based on real-world experience. They might be able to remain werewolves if they do that. Naomi entered the room holding a folder.

"I made a curriculum plan and a schedule for the school day. As we speak, all of the volumes are on their way. There were surplus items in several packs. A quick trip to Staples for materials will get everything ready, in my opinion. The building is already furnished with workstations and other items. She gave him a beaming smile.

"I was considering," She raised an eyebrow. You were proving your loyalty to the pack and me as the Alpha by doing this for me. Her hand extended and encircled his. She touched him, and he jerked a little.

"I work hard. She shifted to the edge of her seat and prodded him with her breast. "I love this pack so much," she said.

"I'd like to give you a new job." Her grin grew wider. "I would like you to be the pack's educational director." He attempted to inform her that she was the teacher by using the most elegant word he could think of. Her grin became shaky. The expression in her eyes spoke it all.

"I mean if you want it." He removed his hand from beneath hers. You have experience teaching, and I know you enjoyed it in your previous pack. Her smile expanded once again as she maintained the façade. However, it missed her eyes this time.

"I would adore being in this position." She gave him a head bow as she stood up as a symbol of surrender. "Is all of that Alpha?"

You are free to get on with your day, Naomi. He took the plans out of his desk's drawer as she exited the building. She felt a little closer to turning his dream of constructing this house into reality.
