Chapter 5 Snagging A Boyfriend

Andrew walks to the closest to select a pair of heels. "These will do nicely." He grabs her hand, pulls her to the vanity chair in the room, and then kneels in front of her.

"I can put the shoes on myself." Lisa said, feeling awkward seeing him kneeling before her.

"I would rather do it for you." Before Lisa can respond, His strong hands gently guide her feet into the shoes. Lisa's face rose up with a blush on her cheeks feeling warmed with his actions. "Like this he almost looks like a prince, in front of his cinderella."

"Wow, I have impeccable taste, there's no doubt about that." Andrew praised him shamelessly. He brings his head up, his hand resting on her knee as he locks his gaze at her. The way He looks at her makes Lisa's cheeks turn red and she blushes for the second time. Feeling self-conscious, She tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear.

"Um, Thank you. Clothes were never really my thing. I think it was more of my sister's thing."

"Well, I think your sister would be very jealous right now. Any woman would be."

She swallows hard. "Afterall, It takes more than clothes to make a woman beautiful."

'Did he just call me beautiful?Wow. I guess I was wrong about him. He definitely has a soft side.'

"But don't worry, I will teach you a thing or two while you stay here." He stands up, holding his hand out to help her from her seat and then spins her, holding her hand above her head. "That way, when this is all over, You will have a better chance at snagging a real boyfriend. I'm confident in a month you will catch every man's eye as you walk down the street. Let's go darling."

Lisa's heart skip a beat at the endearment.

She takes a deep breath and walks out of the room with him.

Few minutes later, They're both seen walking hand to hand into a Restaurant.

Lisa widen her her eyes at the view in front of her and could barely contain her excitement. "Why didn't you tell me that we were going to this place? I have been trying to get a reservation here since they opened, and I was told they're booked solid for the year."

Andrew shrugged. "I'm one of the primary investors, I can get a table whenever I want." She's floored as the manager rushes over to them. "Mr Collins, we are so happy you are joining us today, we have your table already."

"Thank You, Luca." Andrew thank him as He takes Lisa's hand, follow Luca to their table. He brings out her chair for her before He sits down. "Will you be ordering from the menu or would you like the chef to prepare something special?" Andrew smirks before turning to look at Lisa.

"Whatever my lovely fiancée prefers."

'Fiancee? Lisa nearly spit out the water she took seconds ago. "Oh, so this is your lovely fiancee!" Luca clasps his hands and grins. "It's nice to finally meet you." He turns to Andrew as he compliment Lisa. "She's beautiful, Mr Andrew." Lisa feels like her face is on fire as Luca gushes over her. "I will have the chef prepare something special for you two."

'Why would Andrew lie about having a fiancee?' Lisa mused. She glared at him after Luca hurries away. But his eyes are elsewhere, Lisa turns to see the direction He was looking at and there she saw a man sitting at a corner table, his face very handsome with a snake-like tattooed on his neck giving off a sexy hooligan aura.

She calls out to Andrew. "Andrew, Why did you tell him that I was your fiancee?" Andrew's eyes stay focused on the tattooed man as he answers her.

"I have my reason for signing up to be a rental boyfriend." Lisa looked at him confusedly. "That doesn't answer my question, and at the very least, you could have told me beforehand."

He finally pulls his eyes away from the tattooed guy and looks at her.

"My apologies, I didn't think that It was a big deal." Lisa shrugged.

"I guess It isn't that of a big deal, but still a heads-up would have been nice." His eyes flit back to the man. Lisa got irritated and snap at him. "You are not even listening to me, Why do you keep staring at that guy? Do you know him?"

"It doesn't matter." Lisa scoffed.

"Doesn't matter? You are barely paying attention to me, and we are supposed to-

Andrew cuts her off. "You are right, I will stay focused on you, my love." Lisa's heart race at his last words but she shakes her head remembering It's just an act. Luca soon comes with various dishes and set it on the table. Lisa's eyes gleam at the food in front of her eyes. She took a bite out of the shrimp and bean dumpling and she is convinced each one's tastier than the other. One can see the Joy oozing from her just by looking at how excited she seems whenever she takes a bite from each plate. Andrew's lips twich with amusement seeing her that way. "You clearly love good food, just like me."

"Seems we have something in common."

"Your profile said that you are a food journalist, what exactly does that mean?"

"Mainly, I made recommendations about foods, spot food, trends and upcoming chefs."

"I must say, I'm surprised by your excellent palate."

"Thank you for your attempt at a compliment." He grins...."It's my pleasure."

"One doesn't need a lot of money to appreciate the finer things in life." She then lick her lips, staring straight into his eyes.

Andrew follows her action, Intrigued and amusement dancing in his eyes.

"Is that so?" Andrew glances in the direction of the tattooed man again and Lisa couldn't help talking in her head. 'He's been looking at him alot, perhaps he is more his type than I am?'.

"Like what you see over there? I can always invite him over." She chuckles.

Suddenly, Andrew leans forward whispering in a hot breath against her ear. "It's imperative that you commit to our pretense, Lisa. Don't lose focus."

'Huh, Is he hinting at something? If public affection is what he wants then, I think I Know exactly how to get his attention.'
