Chapter four

Alicia's POV

Uncle charlie said he has to go on an important business trip am so happy now am going to go to the library and get some new books since Camile isn't going to be home till the weekend.

Am going to clean my room it has been long i had time to do it then am going to the library am so happy I wish uncle Charlie always go on business trip.

Have finished cleaning up my room and i must say i did a good job, the room is just a small storage room where the former maid keep their things but i made it comfortable to my taste.

"Maybe i should sleep in the main house since nobody's going to be home."I said to myself

I quickly took my bath and wore my worn out jeans and shirt.

All my clothes are the ones worn by Camile and then she hands them over to me .

I put on my boot then left the house.

Drew's POV

The men i asked to watch charlie just called that he's at the airport probably trying to escape.

"I want him to be disgraced and then bring him to me."Drew said with venom in his voice

As predicted he is escaping which makes my plans fall in place easily.You can't steal from me and get away with it.

I quickly call Dan to meet me at the base.

Charlie's POV

I arrived at the airport early to avoid any disturbance and delay i need to leave as soon as possible.

"Gentleman are you Mr charlie Richie."An officer asked

"Yes and how can I help you officer."I said trying to keep calm but deep inside am shaking

"we have him boss."The officer said

It was at that point that i knew that am fucked up. He caught me and am doomed.

Drew POV

He was brought to the base unconscious,none of my scapegoat comes here conscious.

"Dan wake him up he has been out for a long time am tired of waiting."I told Dan drinking my whiskey

Yes i need alcohol to keep me going.

"Sure boss."He said picking a very small but sharp knife from the tray

"Just do it already."I said

Have you heard of the word patience."Dan said

"If you don't do it then am doing it ."I said making him pierce the unconscious man on his thigh twice making him shout in pain

"Welcome back bro."Dan said

"So you are the fool that stole from me."I said looking at him

"Am sorry i promise i would pay you back please don't kill me."the man said trying hard to loose himself from the chair

"You see you shouldn't have stolen from me and now that makes you my big time enemy , its been long I did this."I said playing with the knife in my hands

"Killing me isn't going to make you get your money back and i promise you i will pay you ."Charlie said with fear in his eyes

"It looks like a well rehearsed speech don't you think Dan."I said looking at Dan who was playing with his blade

"I hate talking to the sacrifice you know its a sin ,Just kill him am hungry already."Dan said

"You talked about patient no long ago practice what you preach."Drew said

"Whatever."Dan said

"I still have some of the money with me you can also take my company please spare my life."charlie said

"Okay but that isn't enough to cover the debt but i will take it and still kill you as full payment."Drew said

"Please don't kill me."Charlie begged

"Let's go eat Dan am starving ,am going to get back to you as for now Jacob peel some of his skin then put salt in it and also lock him up with the rats. "Drew said leaving with Dan

"Yes boss "Jacob said

Alicia POV

Going to the library was the best thing that has happened to me this week .

The woman at the library was kind enough to let me lend five books ,am so going to enjoy my self.

I tried calling Camile but she didn't pick up am not worried because she doesn't pick up anytime i call her.

I don't have any other thing to do so i just showered since it was already late, i decided to read one of the books i borrowed from the library.

I love reading romance books , i can't stop imagining how been in love would be .But am not sure am Going experience it maybe it's my fate.

The ringing if the landline made me stop thinking, maybe Camile is calling back that what i thought.

When i picked up the call i heard an unfamiliar voice .

"Hello Camile ."I said trying to confirm who was calling

"Is this Alicia."A man answered

"Yes is Camile there with you ."I asked

"No i have a news for you and it's a bad one."The person said

"Is Camile okay."In as much as i hate them i won't be Happy if anything happen to Camile or my uncle

"Your uncle was involved In a plane crash and was receiving treatment am going to need you to come and pick his body up and you better be here fast."The man said hanging up

I was shocked for some seconds i didn't even bother to change my clothes i ran out to the gate when i saw a black truck with tinted glass i was afraid what if they did something bad to him.

I just hope and pray he's still alive as soon as i opened the gate they brought my uncle out of the car and to say the truth he didn't look like a man receiving treatments.

"What did you do to my uncle."I asked the man that was holding him

"You better shut your mouth and take him inside before we kill you both."The man said leaving him leaning on me ,his weight was too much for me to hold

"Can you at least take him inside for me ."I asked the man again making him glare at me
