Chapter 5 Hope.

There was no other choice, that person in front of me, the being filled with hatred was no longer my sister she was just a receptacle of pure rage and spite.

"Leo has nothing to do with this, I don't want to put him in the middle of your petty revenge for nothing."

"Do you still think all this is for nothing? Didn't you hear what our parents said/ That I'm useless, that I couldn't maintain the family line on my own, but you, the perfect daughter who never made a point of anything regarding this empire, for you they'd ruin it all hands down, without any ceremony."

"I am not to blame for your behavior dragging you to this point, the only person you could blame is yourself!"

"I choose to blame you, if I hadn't been born they would have no other choice, if I didn't exist I would have everything. But I can still take from you, even if Leo is your mate they won't abandon their plans for your happiness, now more than ever you are doomed, because of you the man you love will suffer until the last of his days. All this because you had to exist."

Her eyes glowed the color of the moon, the color the alphas had when their body was taken over by hate if I wasn't careful with my words I could die right there.

"Have it your way, sister, I have nothing more to lose from this, but rest assured that if you involve Leo in all this, you'll end up regretting it."

She didn't say anything else, just pushed me out of her room again and closed the door, I heard strangers coming from there, even if she didn't admit it, her hatred was overpowering everything she felt. I had to fix this, I had to save Leo and stop my sister from ending his life for a petty revenge, for that I had to accept my parents' deal.

I went downstairs again, walked as fast as I could to the dining room, they were still sitting there and talking quietly, when they realized my presence they saw that something was wrong.

"My child, what happened to you!? Your hair is a mess and you are sweating like an animal." -My mother said with a trembling and worried tone of voice.

"I accept! I will run the family, but I have one condition, my father!"

"If it's about Leo, we already talked about it."

"The situation has changed, I can no longer just let him marry her."

"He's my Mate, you know what the traditions say about that! You cannot marry him to Emily, that way you will be committing a crime against the ancestors."

"I want you, I know I might be sounding crazy right now, I know none of this might make sense to you, but we can leave if you want, we can leave all this behind if you prefer. Let's get out of here, just the two of us, we can be together, but only if that's how it is."
