Chapter 6 Making her biggest fear a reality

In a large villa, a Bentley car came to a halt with a sudden jerk, making a screeching sound.

A man got out of the car, and anyone close to him could tell he was very tense.

As soon as the man entered the house, warm and pretty hands hugged him from behind.

"Didi..." Vivek exclaimed.

["Didi" means sister.]

Vivek had received a call from his house, so he went to check on the situation.

"Munnu,"

Sarika exclaimed as she saw her brother after a month.

She had been on vacation with her parents.

"Didi, how many times do I have to say, don't call me like that," Vivek replied, becoming his normal cold and aloof self again.

"No... You are always my Munnu," she said, pinching Vivek's cheek affectionately.

Witnessing this, Manohar, who had come along with his boss, thought to himself,

"Only Sarika mam has the audacity to do this to her boss."

"What are you waiting for? Return to the office,"

Vivek instructed Manohar, as he didn't want anyone to see the intimacy with his family, making it clear he was not welcome there.

"Vivek..." his mother shasira called him suddenly, and being a sensitive person, hugged her son after not seeing him for a month.

"Come to the study," his father Raghav said, turning around.

Raghav was similar to Vivek,he loved his family very much but never showed it in front of everyone.

Those close to them often said that Vivek was just like his father.

"Did you get the information?"

Raghav asked Vivek immediately after he entered his study.

They both cared for their family deeply and were willing to go to any extent for them.

"I said I will deal with it. You don't have to worry about it," Vivek assured his father.

Sarika grew worried that her father and brother might have a disagreement and nervously waited for her brother before lunch.

When she saw her Munnu coming out of the study, she lovingly touched his arm and asked him to have lunch with her, knowing that he usually wouldn't be available.

Unable to reject any small request from his lovely sister, Vivek nodded and moved to the dining area.

"Will you care to explain?"

Harika looked nervous and hesitated for a moment before replying.

She thought Aaradhya had watched everything that happened inside.

Harika assumed that Aaradhya, being focused on studies, would be disgusted by what she saw.

"Ha ha... why are you so nervous? I was just kidding," Aaradhya playfully reassured her.

"So, he is your boyfriend,"

"But why didn't you tell me about him? "

"We've always been open with each other."

Hearing this, Harika sighed with relief, realizing that her friend wouldn't be disgusted by her secret.

However, she didn't want to reveal the whole truth about what happened with her boyfriend.

"I'm sorry. I didn't expect you to see that. "

"It's just that I met this guy recently, and we've been hanging out a lot. "

"I really like him, and things got a bit intense today," Harika explained.

"I know, and I wanted to tell you, but things have been moving so quickly, and I wanted to be sure before sharing it with anyone."

" Besides, he wants to build his career first before making it official," Harika added.

Listening to her explanation, Aaradhya softened.

"I get it, but you know I care about you. I just want to make sure you're making the right decisions for yourself."

"And don't go overboard, other than hugs and kisses, understood?" Aaradhya teased, unaware that Harika had gone further with her boyfriend in the store room.

Harika felt relieved, thinking she didn't have to disclose that part of her relationship just yet.

"Yes, don't worry. I'll be careful."

Seeing her friend zoning out with her thoughts, Aaradhya smiled and continued,

"But at least you should have informed me earlier that you do have a boyfriend."

Harika became tensed and playfully covered Aaradhya's mouth.

"Why are you speaking so loudly?"

"It's all still new, and I promise to tell you everything soon," Harika said, hoping to keep her intimate encounter a secret from Aaradhya.

"Please, don't mention it to anyone," she added, worried that her boyfriend might get angry if he found out she shared their private moments.

Seeing her friend's tension, Aaradhya held Harika's hand and consoled her, saying,

"I'm here for you no matter what, and I hope this guy makes you happy."

Harika hugged her friend tightly, "You're the best, Aaradhya. Your support means a lot to me."

While having lunch, Aaradhya asked Harika one of the most important questions that had been on her mind since morning.

"Now, will you explain what that was about in the morning?" Aaradhya asked abruptly.

Harika tried to respond, "I already told you, it was..."

But Aaradhya didn't let her finish,

"I'm asking about the marriage thing, and please don't say you're kidding me."

" Because of your stupid kidding, I couldn't concentrate on the classes."

Aaradhya continued to complain about Harika bringing up the topic of marriage, which was a very sensitive subject for her to talk about.

"Aru, please stop. Okay, I understand this is a very sensitive topic, but I am not kidding," Harika said earnestly.

Harika explained that she had overheard some attendants talking about a man who came to the college and claimed to be Aaradhya's husband.

He requested leave on her behalf for the second week of the next month.

The attendants described the man as wearing a blue suit and black pants, being 6.2 feet tall, fair, and handsome, but they didn't know his name.

When Harika asked about the girl's name, they said it was "Aaradhya."

As Harika spoke, Aaradhya recalled her encounter with a stranger in the class corridor who matched Harika's description of the man.

He was wearing a similar outfit. Aaradhya was perplexed by the strange coincidence and wondered who this man was and what his intentions were.

Before leaving college, Harika invited Aaradhya to her birthday party, which is supposed to be on the coming Saturday.

Aaradhya had no problem hanging out with friends at home, so she happily accepted the invitation.

Little did Aaradhya know that this simple acceptance would turn out to be the biggest mistake of her life, changing her status from Miss to Mrs and making her biggest fear a reality.
